Give 'Em Enough Rope

For three months, cops and Feds have basically given organizations like Black Lives Matter and Antifa carte blanche on the streets of a number of major cities. This tactic has been helped along by local officials who are both terrified of the people roaming their streets and even more terrified of giving any appearance of cooperating with Trump and his cadres.
To borrow from The Clash lexicon, this may look to a lot of people like an endless White Riot (the overwhelming majority of the rioters are white as the driven snow), but I think it may turn out that BLM/Antifa have simply been Given Enough Rope.
I realize that a lot of people on the Left think they're on the right side of History and all that, and who knows, maybe they are. Trouble is, I'm starting to get the feeling that our immediate future is going to look a lot more like those two videos up top than whatever utopian fantasies rioters may have been nursing.
I've always suspected everything we've seen since late May was all a controlled burn-off. Meaning military planners have long been preparing for a so-called "GenZ rebellion," so however these riots actually started and whomever actually planned them, Homeland Security has been using the riots to draw all the troublemakers and subversives out of hiding. Which they've done shockingly well.
The kid gloves policing approach has given the would-be insurrectionists enough of a sense of confidence to reveal their identities and true agendas and put them on the Internet for handy future reference by magistrates and tribunals to come. But no matter how fancy Antifa's tactics get in cities where they face no meaningful resistance, they're eventually going to run smack into the brick wall of the State.
And my guess is that the State wants the Antifa Mystery Machine to be going as quickly as possible so it will sustain maximum impact when it does meet that immovable object.
My suspicion is that this is all part of the "national emergency" scenario I've been sensing is bearing down on us. See, you can't really call a national emergency without a credible threat, so it may well be that this push-me/pull-you tactic might ramp up a bit more before the big hammer comes down. So get ready. Believe me, this is not something I want or would ever welcome.
I've had enough dealings with the police in my lifetime to understand that cops these days hold a quite-Manichean outlook on the world; you're either a cop or you're a troublemaker. Wolves and sheep. It doesn't matter if you're a taxpayer or homeowner if the cop you run into is having a bad enough day.
And it doesn't take a psychic to predict how guys with guns and 'roid-rage will act when they've got a chip on their shoulder about how stuck-up-rich-kid-chickenshits like the mayors in Portland and Minneapolis and the governors in Washington and Wisconsin have been scapegoating them.
I really don't believe any of these politicos would ever get the Mussolini-lamppost treatment, but let's just say I wouldn't fall out of my chair in shock if one did. The false sense of confidence that Antifa et al have been given by the national stand-down has blinded them to their weaknesses, which are legion.

Seriously, you need to go read the whole thing.

Here's just one more of his important observations:
I have no idea what the Democratic Establishment (or even some Republicans) thought they were doing egging all this violence and mayhem on for the past three months, but I'd bet a few of those same Antifa/BLM cheerleaders are state-security wolves in liberal sheep's clothing, preparing the flock for the supper table.
CITIES OF THE DEAD
There's a larger problem at work: and that's the sudden and rather shocking collapse of all the major city-states that are the jewels of the Democratic Party crown...

  1. In Portland (I think) all the police have been Federally Deputized so any arrests they now make in connection to the insurrection the arrestees can face charges at a Federal level. Now from some local yokal prosecutor but from a U.S. District Attorney.

  2. Another excellent quote from the full post:

"None of what we're seeing feels organic or inevitable, and I'm starting to wonder who's really pulling the levers behind the curtain."

  3. Yes. Christopher Knowles mostly writes about mystical stuff. But his quasi-political writing is pretty nails. Surprising. He is well aware of occult factors in every day events, or in other words, spooks.
