All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.
Monk was always awesome. True genius in every way. But yeah, the band, or this incarnation of it, wasn't as on fire as other recordings I have floating around the house.
But it got us there for this evening.
Hey, Brooke! You did get some free samples didn't ya? Did ya get any for me?
Brooke -- We had a Crown Royal rep last summer. Hottest day of the summer rough day at the cube farm I wanted to walk into the liquor store, get my Wild Turkey and GET OUT.
But NOOOOOO There was the Crown Royal lady. Giving out free samples. And it was on ice. Not on the rocks but the bottle was packed in ice so the whiskey was cold but not watered down. Perfect (I keep my Wild Turkey in the fridge for that reason. Along with marachino cheries soaking in vodka - yum). Anyway she was very nice and let me have 2 shots.
They went down so smooth I had to buy 2 bottles. On sale of course.
I'm staring at an uncracked bottle of Bowmore Islay right now. How long it remains uncracked remains to be seen but, considering your suggestion, CS, smart money is on about 5 minutes. . .
Lady Henessey was at our local grocer's/State store a few days ago!

No samples. The liquor liscencing in Ohio is squirrely.

Brooke -- mine's neat too. Just cold. I like it unchilled as well, just prefer it cold.
