I Was In Birmingham Yesterday

I was in Birmingham, UK yesterday. In my mind, at first, I was in any regular European city. Modernity, a vibe of freedom and a lot of pubs is what I was thinking would be waiting there to welcome just any infidel. In all honesty, what would you expect when you would go to a country but to see their culture in proud display everywhere? Little did I know, I was in for a big surprise!

After my flight to Birmingham day before yesterday, I was really tired so I decided to sleep through the night. When I woke up, I was naturally hungry. So I thought I’d get up and go have some Fish & Chips or something. I went out of my hotel looking for local restaurants. I found plenty of those but what surprised me and pissed me off to a great degree were the signs “100% Halal” that I could see everywhere. It shouldn’t have surprised me, knowing the current turn of events in Europe, but it did.

I don’t know how many of you are aware that my fiancĂ© and I have decided to boycott Halal food altogether. Being from a Muslim background myself, I fully understand the meaning of Halal; I know what it means for meat to be Halal. It’s true that Halal, the word itself, means permissible. However, the process by which meat is declared Halal is, in our opinion, idolatry. When a Muslim butcher slaughters a goat or a cow, for example, not only does he make sure the animal is facing Mecca but he also recites “Be-ism-Allah-e-Allah-u-akbar” which literally translated means, “In the name of Allah, Allah is greater”. So, whenever you eat something that is Halal, you are bearing witness to that statement. And my fiancĂ© and I have decided, we won’t worship Allah, the Muslim god, in any way or let the Muslims profit from us buying their food!

Living in a Muslim country, because of our decision, we pretty much have to not eat any chicken or beef or lamb or whatever else kind of meat you can think of apart from pork and fish. And we have been doing fine without it for about a year. However, whenever we go to “infidel” countries, we eat beef and chicken and whatever else we want, knowing that it is not Halal. And that is what I was hoping to do in Birmingham; I guess you understand me being pissed more now.

Anyway, that is not the only reason I was pissed (because eventually I did find a fast food restaurant that didn’t have Halal all over it and just to make sure it was “extra” Haram, I asked them to put bacon in it), another reason that I was pissed was that wherever I looked, I saw bearded men in their Pakistani or Arabic garb walking around. I heard Urdu and Arabic spoken on the street more than I did English. I saw more women wearing abayas or other things like it to cover themselves than I did free western women wearing skirts or other sorts of beautiful dresses. Yes, I was in Birmingham but I felt like I was back in Dubai or actually worse. I walked into a Borders bookstore there and I saw Qurans on the top shelf. The Bibles were kept on the third or fourth and no one cared but they made sure the Quran had the top spot. In my silent protest, I took one of the Qurans with my left hand and put it on the floor and left the store. I am sure that didn’t mean anything to anyone; I am sure that that Quran ended back up on the shelf but even when no one is watching, I won’t bow down to Allah; even when no one is watching, my God is!

You can read about it in the news, people can show you pictures of how bad England has become but you have to see it for yourself for your blood to actually boil. You have to see it for yourself to believe that England or at least Birmingham as we knew it is no more. We can keep telling our children stories about Charles Martel or the Siege of Vienna but those stories in the near future are going to mean nothing because, as I saw yesterday, Muslims have arrived. And they have arrived with full might. They have taken over stores, restaurants, streets and culture. Muslims have won the war and we haven’t even realized it. Even the most hardcore counter-jihadists among us are thinking, “Europe is going to be Muslim soon” but little do we realize that at least England already is. The only thing that’s left is for Muslims to declare it a Muslim state.

I came back from Birmingham appalled. I hated it. I hated every second that I had to spend there. Western civilization undone in front of our very own eyes. And who is responsible for all of this?

I blame you Britons. No, you weren’t helpless in all this. You weren’t forced at gun point nor were you conquered by another nation against your will. You willingly gave away your country in the name of multiculturalism and equality. You still don’t realize what has happened. I am sure the day you realize what you have done, you will fight harder than ever to reclaim your country but I’m afraid it’s going to be too late for you to just say to Muslims, “you know what? I think you should just leave!” I am afraid when you realize you’ve lost your country, you will have to reclaim it after losing millions of lives including innocent women and children who looked up to you in strong belief that you would protect them and put them before anyone else.

I really do hope Britain wakes up. I am sure it’s not just Britain but other countries in Europe also that are going through this. I have read up on it but I would like to see it myself. Sometime next month, if all goes well, I should be going to Paris for a day. I will make sure to write on that also if I see similar Islamization there. For now, I am just pissed because there isn’t a thing I can do but protest!

  1. its sad an unfortunate.

but through out history cultures and nations have declined and into the vacume some barbarian horde came and either displaced the original inhabitants or slowly replaced them.

we are bearing witness to one of those times.

I beleive there has been a concerted effort by leftists to commit cultural suicide because of what they percieve as our collective cultural guilt as the "devils" of the planet. no culture is bad except western culture everyone else is just misunderstood, but we are responsible for the ills of the world.

therefore we must go the way of rome and disapear into the history books.

and if you dont want to go willingly into that good night you must be a fascist racist

  2. AA, I've been wondering if it is really getting as bad in Europe as I've been hearing. Thank you for the first-hand account. We are not seeing it here in the US yet except in a few areas but that lulls into sleep those who don't see the hijab and what Wilders calls the "hate beards", the halal shops, the mosques around them every day along with the demands and intimidation.

Btw I used to work for Borders (technically still do but I've been able to avoid them recently) and was told that several years ago managers were told to put the Qurans the top shelves. Either the managers refused or everyone eventually just forgot about it, but they don't do that in the US. Though I wonder about the stores in areas with more Muslims living in the area. I thought all the Borders in Britain had been closed -- the company has been financially struggling for several years now.

  3. Great post.

The official estimate is that only 3-4% of the British population is Muslim. However, another recent report noted that 10% of the food sold in Britain is now halal, which may indicate a larger Muslim population than previously realized.

Certainly, the major cities do have a large Muslim population. I know there were an awful lot of Muslims in London last time I was there in 2002.

Please don't judge England by the centre of Birmingham. There will also be parts of cities in the US that will look the same as Birmingham - Brooklyn, for instance.

Surely you don't think that 90% of the population approve, condone the situation today. Yes, we were helpless against our government allowing them into the country in the first place. In the '60's the Labour government let the Muslims in and the ordinary people protested with the help of Enoch Powell who was lambasted as a racist.

The Muslim invasion gathered more momentum from 1997 when NuLabour was voted in. We did not vote for immigration we voted to remove an incompetent Tory government. The Muslims themselves and their "useful idiots" probably make up 10% of the population so don't blame us Brits for Birmingham.

As for Birmingham itself it is a large city and you will have seen a very small part of it, no more than 5%. There are many suburbs where Englishness prevails.

  8. Shiva,

"The way AA describes Birmingham it sounds worse than where I live. Indonesia"

It is worse than Indonesia...and UAE. It is a fact that Muslims, when they are in non Muslim countries, try to show their "Muslimness" more than if they are in Muslim countries. I don't see "100% Halal" written anywhere on a restaurant window here in Dubai. Part of the reason might be that everything here is assumed to be halal (it says Halal on the packaging or on the menus though). I see more women in western clothing here than I did in Birmingham. In one day, I saw more covered women in full Muslim garb there than I do here on any given day. I heard more non English languages than I do here.

I am just reporting what I saw. What makes Birmingham worse than even Saudi Arabia is that England IS NOT a declared Muslim country but it looks more and more like one everyday.

  9. Ray Boyd,

"Please don't judge England by the centre of Birmingham. There will also be parts of cities in the US that will look the same as Birmingham - Brooklyn, for instance."

I wouldn't know. I am not an American. Never been to America! I went to Birmingham the other day and that's why I wrote about it.

"Surely you don't think that 90% of the population approve, condone the situation today."

First off, I don't know how you came to the figure of 90%. Second, it doesn't matter whether 90% of the population approves of it or not, what matters is that that 90% is either way too quiet or speaking in a very low voice for anyone to hear. Let me tell you something. People say there are moderate Muslims who don't support blowing anyone up. I say, that's a load of crap. Why is it that not one of the so called moderate Muslim stands up and condemns the suicide attacks when they occur? Why are those moderate Muslims always quiet? Those Muslims, by being quiet, are condoning those attacks.

So now if, as you say, there are 90% of the Brits that don't approve of it. Well speak up! I see people like you speaking up and I respect you for that (a lot) but that does not by any measure make up 90% of your population.

"Yes, we were helpless against our government allowing them into the country in the first place...The Muslim invasion gathered more momentum from 1997 when NuLabour was voted in. We did not vote for immigration we voted to remove an incompetent Tory government."

You sound like you live not in a democracy but under a fascist government. The American people voted for Obama because they wanted "change". I call that short sightedness. Now they're dealing with the craziness they helped create in the first place. If Americans had just sat down and complained over coffee, "Ah! We're being forced to accept the healthcare bill and there aint a thing we can do about it!" I'd say, "you buncha wimps!" but Americans realized what was happening and they stood up against Obama and his policies!

In countries where freedom is the rule and right of the populace, I don't find it convincing when you say, "we couldn't do a thing!"

"As for Birmingham itself it is a large city and you will have seen a very small part of it, no more than 5%."

I don't know how much of Birmingham I saw and neither do you, sir!

  10. 90% of the population must be Labour-voting, crypto-commie moonbats who didn't listen to a damned thing Margaret Thatcher said to you. Leftists are to blame for this. Leftism is, after all, predicated on a deathwish and doomed to cannibalization after all the great spoils of parasitism are gone. You get the government you deserve.

  11. "!You get the government you deserve"

Nonsense! Only 30% of the population voted labour but due to the vagaries of the electoral system they got into power.

"Leftists are to blame for this"

True, the same marxist types that are now in charge of America so did 90% of the US voters put Obama in power? I think not. People who live in glasshouses should not throw stones.
