  1. Creepy psychic image of the day: Chomsky as a convert to Islam praying at the mosque in the Islamic Republic of Cambridge, former known as the People's Republic of Cambridge.

Think he'd refuse to recite the Shahada and become a good "fundamentalist" if his miserable hide was at stake?

  2. Pastorius,

This is insane even for Chomsky, and its at least as contra reality as many of his other claims about America. Does he not realize that there is no separation between religion and state in Saudi Arabia or Iran or Afghanistan even after the Taliban was thrown out of power? Does he not realize that in all three of those countries you can be put to death for leaving Islam of your own free will, or that people are put to death for being gay, and women who are raped can put to death for adultery, unless there are four male witnesses? Does he not realize that he could be put to death in even some relatively moderate Muslim societies for even the slightest criticism of their society or their faith? As for his bizarre claim that "Bush and Ahmadinejad are Spiritual Brothers," That's like comparing Bush to Hitler. I can pretty much guarantee you that unlike Ahmadinejad Bush doesn't support putting anyone to death for their religious beliefs or lack there of, what ever he thinks of unbelievers in his Christian faith.
Ahmadinejad is a puppet dictator, of the Mullahs and Iran is a theocracy. Chomsky, do you really think that the United States is a theocracy? If you do, you do not know the true meaning of the word.

By the way, Pastorius, I wasn't able to watch the video, but that quote would be pretty hard to take out of context.

  3. Revere Rides Again,

I don't know what Chomsky would do if Muslim Jihadists were actually able to take over America, but one things for certian, than he learn the true meaning of the word theocracy and than he'd find out who his true friends really were, just like all the other dhimmi useful idiots.

  9. Rumcrook™,

by the why, I'm meant to say, "it wouldn't look good if we go around talking about how happy we are when he dies." Sorry, I need to correct my mistakes before I post something, its a bad habit.

  10. Jewel,
I used to read and admire Chomsky too.

Just tonight a friend was asking me why, and I couldn't remember a bit of what I had been thinking.

    It's like I was a different person.

  12. I think I was a wanna-be leftist intellectual hipster. I was more interested in picking up chicks and gratifying my own ego than anything else.
