Emergency Agencies Practice Response To 10-Kiloton Nuclear Bomb in Times Square

Just another one of the minor inconveniences we put up with for the pleasure of living with all these lovely Moderate Muslims.

From CBS News:
The city’s Office of Emergency Management ran a training exercise Wednesday that simulated a response to a 10-kiloton nuclear device exploding at 42nd Street and Seventh Avenue in Times Square, WCBS 880’s Rich Lamb reported.
According to the exercise, 100,000 people were instantly killed; a wave of overpressure took down buildings for a half-mile radius and did damage for up to two miles; and a radiation cloud swept over the region.

  2. Do you remember the 50's when the nuclear hype was at its peak and thanks to the ever hysterical press you went to bed at night waiting for the bomb to drop? Do you remember the exercises in school preparing for the bomb to drop? What to do when they drop one on your school? You get under your desk to keep you safe. Yes, that's what they practiced and it is still as effective as any other method. Lucky for me, I have one of the ol;d school desks so I know I will be safe.
