Massachusetts Court Orders Pastor To Study Islam

In the previous post, I said the EU must die.

Perhaps, the Massachusetts Justice system must also die.

I hope this Judge is removed from her job quick. This is insane. Why should anyone ever be forced to study the religion of Satan?

From the Boston Globe:
A Somerville landlord and Christian minister convicted of pushing her Muslim tenant down the stairs must comply with a judge’s order that she learn about the Islamic faith as part of her probation, the state’s highest court concluded Wednesday.
In a unanimous ruling, the Supreme Judicial Court left intact the probation imposed on Daisy Obi by Somerville District Court Judge Paul M. Yee Jr. in 2014. The SJC’s ruling was based on procedural grounds and didn’t directly address the probation condition.
Writing for the court, Justice Barbara Lenk noted that under court rules, a person must first object in a lower court if he or she wants the high court to review it. No such objection was made by Obi and her attorneys, Lenk wrote.
“While conditions of probation that touch on religion and risk incursion upon constitutionally protected interests should be imposed only with great circumspection, the defendant raised no such concerns before the trial court judge, and there is no information in the record that would allow us to evaluate her claims,’’ Lenk wrote.
“Because she raises these claims for the first time on appeal, they have been waived.” The SJC did approve the six-month jail sentence and other probationary conditions Yee imposed after Obi, who is in her 70s and a long-time landlord, was convicted of assault and battery on Gilhan Suliman, who was a third-floor tenant for a short time in 2012.
Some background . . .
The case centers on Daisy Obi, a 73-year-old ordained minister from Nigeria who is the pastor of the Adonai Bible Center in Somerville, just north of Boston. In April 2012, Obi rented an apartment in her multi-family home to Gihan Suliman, her husband and five young children.
Suliman complained about the heat and electricity not always working, while Obi complained Suliman appeared to have 12 to 15 people living in the apartment at one point.
Suliman testified that about a month after she moved in, Obi stood on the stairs outside Suliman's apartment screaming anti-Muslim insults.
The following month, while Suliman was taking her baby out of the car, she said Obi yelled anti-Muslim sentiments at her other children.
Then, about a month later, Suliman said Obi accused her of ringing her doorbell, shouted at her and pushed her. Suliman said she fell backward down 15 to 20 stairs, hitting her face on the banister, cutting her lip and tearing a ligament in her shoulder.

Doesn't seem the court was at all interested in the false representations made by Suliman when she rented the apartment from 70 year old Daisy Obi. Having read enough about the attitudes of the Islamic culture and now being aware that Daisy Obi is of Nigerian descent, natural hostilities are likely inherited.

Here in the USA, we are not yet generationally conditioned to the demands of subservience to the Islamic invaders. Apparently, to their everlasting shame, the ignorance of the Massachusetts court system is diligently working on rectifying such misconceptions in favor of Islam.

  2. How is it possible that any court here in America can order someone to study Islam a part of probation?
