Leak claims Google staff regularly DO manually intervene in controversial searches despite CEO's testimony the search engine NEVER does it

A leaked internal Google discussion thread reportedly indicates that the tech giant regularly manipulates search results 
One Google engineer indicated interventions regularly occur in search results delivered by Google Assistant, Google Home and Google-owned YouTube 
He also claimed that, in rare cases, Google's organic search results could be manipulated 
An anonymous source inside the company disclosed the thread to Breitbart 
On the list of 'controversial search queries' are terms related to abortion, Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg and Democratic Rep Maxine Waters 
The report goes against CEO Sundar Pichai's sworn testimony in front of Congress last month that the firm doesn't 'manually intervene' on search results
