  2. Ghastly. Punish the innocent. Protect those who defend and support the guilty.

  3. Well .... it was a pretty smart call by the Muslims to attack Churches rather than Buddhist Temples.

There would be some massive communal bloodletting going on right now if they had.

As I recall, we increased security around Mosques after 911.

I was suggesting online at the time that we should have monitors stationed at Mosques to make sure there was no nefarious talk going on ........ and received quite a bit of heat back from the more devout Christians on the forum.

Islam has successfully portrayed itself as a religion in lieu of its true nature of a blueprint for spreading arab cultural values across the globe.

And when anyone starts talking about monitoring a particular religion, other abrahamic religions start circling the wagons around the faithful.

Thats a fairly recent development. The Mormons were once chased out of the Midwest by protestant communal violence. That was back before we let our government tell us who our neighbors could be.

The Sri Lankans are no stranger to anti-Muslim communal violence.

I've really kind of had a man-crush on the Sri-Lankans since they leveled the Hospital the Tamil Tigers thought they could hold out in, and ignored the international outcry over their tactics.

If there's ever going to be a place that shows the world how to deal with an uppity Muslim minority, its the Buddhists in Sri Lanka and Myanmar.

  5. Here's the full story. He was the husband of a Jewish lady I did business with. He was a very large man; probably 6-4 and 220.

He was an intimidating physical presence.

He did things that displayed bravery.

For instance, the way he got out of Sri Lanka was to, leave Sri Lanka with almost no money, and take trains and walk through India, through Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Turkey and then eventually to Germany. He lived in Germany for years. Then moved to England, and then eventually ended up in Souther California, where he started his own business as a vendor to Hotels.

    He was a nice guy.

But when I asked him what he thought of Islam, and the history of Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and India, he told me Muslims are just people, there's a tiny minority of extremists and all that bullshit.

Hence, I call him a pussy.
