Alexandros Paporakis is a 19-year-old from Palatine, Illinois who was arrested around October 11, 2026, and charged with making a terrorist threat and unlawful possession of weapons.
He plotted a mass shooting targeting a Hindu temple in Aurora, Illinois
According to court accounts and police statements, he researched the location, drove there armed with a modified AR-style rifle, roughly 300 rounds of ammunition, body armor/tactical gear, and other items (including Nazi symbolism and a gas canister with a slur). The rifle reportedly jammed; he left, contacted a Taco Bell coworker, where he worked as a cashier, shared details of the plan and materials, including, of course, an eight-page manifesto. Alexandros was arrested after the coworker tipped off police. No one was injured.
After the story made headlines, Democrat Ro Khanna jumped in his car and blamed the attempted terrorist plot on a “white supremacist.” Khanna is an Indian-American multi-millionaire with an estimated net worth of $150-$340 million.
