Must Have Been One of Them "UFOs" (Unacknowledged Fatwa Objects)

Some interesting background info on the Iranian-Hezbollah MANPADS missle attacks on our aircraft in Iraq over on Northeast Intelligence. (That most recent one killed a young female officer from the next town over from me. One week short of coming home.) http://www.homelandsecurityus.com/

"Make no mistake; there is no doubt that Hezbollah, the acknowledged 'A-Team' of international islamo-fascist terrorism, has the capability to strike the interests of the United States any time, any where, on the ground or in the air." --Sean Osborne

FLASHBACK: POSSIBLE SURFACE-TO-AIR MISSILE FIRED AT COMMERICAL AIRCRAFT IN U.S.?
By Sean Osborne, Associate Director, Military Affairs

10 February 2007: In the past month, a rash of U.S. military and contractor helicopters have been shot out of the sky during combat operations in Iraq. The most recent, and fifth chopper to be shot down, was the USMC CH-46E Sea Knight in the vicinity of al-Karma, Al Anbar province. The weapon used was MANPADS (Man-Portable Air Defense System).

Based upon my research, it is a virtual certainty that the MANPADS used to bring down these US helicopters in recent days are Iranian-supplied. The weapons Iran has provided are either Chinese-made QW-1 or Iran's own copy-cat Mithaq-1, both of which are comparable to the US-made Stinger MANPADS. It is also probable that Iran has supplied the terrorists with Russian made MANPADS such as the SA-7,Grail, SA-14 Gremlin and SA-16 Gimlet.Click "read more" above to view complete analysis.

The flashback is quite interesting, radar images and all.

Oh yeah, and Spokane hosts the latest "unknown chemical odor" incident.

12 February 2007: Hundreds of shoppers were evacuated from the NorthTown Mall in Spokane, Washington yesterday afternoon and 37 were treated at two local hospitals after being exposed to an "unknown chemical odor." Hazardous materials teams and other first responders were dispatched to the NorthTown Mall at approximately 3:30 p.m. yesterday after noxious fumes of unknown origin sickened nearly 40 people inside. Victims complained about eye, nose and throat irritation, and were treated at two local hospitals. Officials are uncertain of the nature or origin of the chemical irritant at this time. Officials closed the mall to shoppers following the evacuation and an investigation of the incident is continuing.
