The Chinese DEMAND collateral for buying T Bills, and get it - THE USA ITSELF

UPDATE: THIS STORY WAS SPREAD BY A JEW-HATING WHITE SUPREMACIST NAMED HAL TURNER

LIVE LEAK....and this one is HARD TO BELIEVE
FEDS GRANT EMINENT DOMAIN AS COLLATERAL TO CHINA FOR U.S. DEBTS!
Beijing, China -- Sources at the United States Embassy in Beijing China have just CONFIRMED to me that the United States of America has tendered to China a written agreement which grants to the People's Republic of China, an option to exercise Eminent Domain within the USA, as collateral for China's continued purchase of US Treasury Notes and existing US Currency reserves!

The written agreement was brought to Beijing by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and was formalized and agreed-to during her recent trip to China.

This means that in the event the US Government defaults on its financial obligations to China, the Communist Government of China would be permitted to physically take -- inside the USA -- land, buildings, factories, perhaps even entire cities - to satisfy the financial obligations of the US government.

Put simply, the feds have now actually mortgaged the physical land and property of all citizens and businesses in the United States. They have given to a foreign power, their Constitutional power to "take" all of our property, as actual collateral for continued Chinese funding of US deficit spending and the continued carrying of US national debt.

This is an unimaginable betrayal of every man, woman and child in the USA. An outrage worthy of violent overthrow.

I am endeavoring to obtain images or copies of the actual document but in the interim, several different sources both in the US and in China have CONFIRMED this to me.

HARD TO BELIEVE
If we are in these kinds of straights we have NO BUSINESS with any kind of frigging stimulus anything.
If this is true, 95% of Americans would countenance invading the entire ME and TAKING 100% of the oil first

CAN THIS BE REAL?
A search yields Live Leak, the Examiner, Atlas Shrugs, reddit.com, and ominously ..RENSE
I'd like to see much more on this

UPDATE... HT ANON:

Feb. 11 (Bloomberg) -- China should seek guarantees that its $682 billion holdings of U.S. government debt won’t be eroded by “reckless policies,” said Yu Yongding, a former adviser to the central bank.

The U.S. “should make the Chinese feel confident that the value of the assets at least will not be eroded in a significant way,” Yu, who now heads the World Economics and Politics Institute at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, said in response to e-mailed questions yesterday from Beijing. He declined to elaborate on the assurances needed by China, the biggest foreign holder of U.S. government debt.

Anyone else?

OK NOTHING NEW IN ~24 HOURS ..RATED AS TOTALLY UNCONFIRMABLE

Yet the USA keeps giving money to foreigners. Wasn´t the USA about to give money to Gaza? Digusting.

  7. The federal government does not own my property - how can they pledge it?

Yeah, I know it seems nitpicky, but understanding ones legal position can help in the fight.

The feds may be able to pledge federal lands (although that is arguable) but they have no "eminent domain" argument (the taking - for payment, by the way) of private property for "public use" for my house, for instance, to secure their borrowing.

Indulge me in one tiny fantasy. If the states told DC that we were going to "do over" and quit funding this particular bunch, we could still give China assurances that we would be good on the debt incurred up to now. Especially if the "new feds" stated that they would scale back the spending for the next few years on everything except the entitlements promised to the current crop of retirees or near retirees, infrastructure and defense.

No need for collateral (which the feds don't own and therefore cannot pledge, I reiterate), as cash flow would be more than ample to service it.

Everything else would go back to the states - education, energy production, etc.

I would argue that if a foreign sovereign comes to seize property under this theory, it is tantamount to an act of war.

If this story is true, every state's governor and legislature should be made aware of it and the people of the several states should demand their state governments engage with the feds to force it to cease and desist immediately.

It sounds like treason and the next protest march should be on the Washington Mall.

Hmm - does anyone know the status of the civilian federal military force?

  8. If this is true, BHO has committed high treason.

But I don't seen much chance of Congress convening an impeachment trial. Remember Congress's rapturous faces when BHO gave his speech last Tuesday night?

Frankly, I see no easy way for us to protect our property. The sales of houses right now are stagnant -- unless one is willing to sell for a bargain price. If the house has a mortgage, little capital will be realized.

Revolution or some such might be possible but only if the documents are made public. Just saying the docs exist won't convince enough people.

Pardon my not knowing, but do we have an confirmation of or access to those documents?

  9. From this source:

Cash-rich Chinese coming to do some house hunting

Call it a bailout from the East. Approximately 40 Chinese real estate investors are winging their way from Beijing today looking to snap up foreclosed and otherwise "distressed" properties in the Bay Area and California. The trip, put together by Beijing real estate portal SouFun Holdings Ltd. and Fortune Group Realty Co. in Pittsburgh, is one of several such Chinese house hunting groups to visit the U.S. periodically. But the timing of this one appears to be particularly fortuitous, on both sides of the Pacific. "It's good for Chinese investors who see lots of opportunities," said Fortune Group vice-president Andrew Hang Chen. "It's also good for the American economy, at least on a small scale."

Homes, apartment buildings and other commercial property in the region are on the shopping list. First stop on the 10-day trip is Los Angeles, followed by the Bay Area, then to Las Vegas. Apparently, the group won't have to worry about mortgages and such. "They have cash, believe me," said Chen.

  10. AoW I still have a hard time swallowing this verbatim.

Eric Cantor, Kyl, Imhofe, Sessions and some others would have a field day. They would call for an impeachment committee and force the dems to sweep it, then they could do a Conyers with taste and reality

    Can you imagine OReilly?

There HAS to be some disconnect

  11. Epa,
Until I see other confirmation of this story, I'm going to say "Bah!"

Now, I don't doubt that individuals from China are buying bargain real estate here in the States -- as are other foreign individuals, I'm sure.

And I do believe that China is a threat to the United States in many different ways.

But I can't believe that BHO and Hillary could negotiate such an eminent-domain deal and get away with it. If they have, of course, we could be really deep caca.

I rather imagine that some individuals will act on what they've heard of this deal. They'll likely sell cheap and head for the hills. That kind of run-for-it mentality has been in the conservative movement for some four decades that I know of.

Anyway, I've got a few private feelers out to see if anyone -- anyone -- can confirm or deny this story. I know a few people who are "on watch" with regard to related matters.

I'll add a label (China) to this post so that I can find it quickly again should I get any additional information.

  15. Pastorius & Epa -- Myself I wouldn't take it down but put a big BULLSHIT banner and explanation so people see we're not spreading lies but following up and telling the truth when we find errors in our own reporting. Instead of just running with it or conveniently shoving it down the memory hole.

Wouldn't want to be accused of what we see the liberals (and some of our own) do so often.

  16. I could see this getting to be a problem. We've had a couple in recent weeks. When even someone like Free Republic or LGF or IBA can be taken in by a story like this (happened to me too) spread by extreme partisans or hacks ON EITHER SIDE it only discredits us all.

If in an attempt to discredit Obama folks start making shit up we could have some real problems. He's bad enough as is without resorting to such nonsense. And when it's exposed we stand there with egg dripping off our noses.

Anyway, if you take it down I still think I'd put something up in it's place exposing it for what it was.
