Steven C. Rockefeller is professor emeritus of religion at Middlebury College, where he taught for 30 years and also served as dean of the College and chair of the religion department. He received his master of divinity degree from Union Theological Seminary in New York City and his PH.D. in the philosophy of religion from Columbia University. He is the author of John Dewey: Religious Faith and Democratic Humanism (Columbia, 1991) and the co-editor of two books of essays, The Christ and the Bodhisattva (SUNY, 1987) and Sprit and Nature: Why the Environment is a Religious Issue (Beacon, 1992). His essays appear in a variety of books and journals. In recent years, much of his research and writing has focused on global ethics, sustainable development, and the interrelation of democracy, ecology, and spirituality.

It is a bastion of anti-americanism and Muslim indoctrination in the guise of its Arabic Language Program:

  3. Anonymous,
Most Pastors I know have a degree in Divinity.

Here's what Wiki says about the Masters in Divinity:

In the academic study of theology, the Master of Divinity (M.Div., magister divinitatis in Latin) is the first professional degree of the pastoral profession in North America. It is the most common academic degree in seminaries and divinity schools.

In many Christian denominations and in some other religions the degree is the standard prerequisite for ordination to the priesthood or pastorship or other appointment, ordination or licensing to professional ministry.

  4. So, the guy is another dumbass, Leftist "social justice" Pastor, serving God by turning them into serfs, lying to them, and ensuring that those who want to kill Christians will have a good chance of succeeding.
