Just a short time after former British prime minister Tony Blair assumed the role of Middle East envoy, The Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center in Herzelia, Israel, considered to be the "public face of Israeli intelligence," issued a scathing report in which it accused Britain of being a "major source of publishing and distribution of Hamas incitement."I just don't see it changing anytime soon, and I don't see any reason to maintain political relations with Britain's government.
It condemned the British government for not stopping "the distribution of hateful propaganda against Israel and the West and publications glorifying suicide terrorism," adding that "British authorities have yet to take effective action to put an end to the exploitation of their country by Hamas for spreading incitement? that could strike a chord not only with Palestinian or Arab/Muslim target audiences worldwide but also with the Muslim community in Britain itself."
All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.

Avi that last sentence makes me really anrgy. We basically supported your war in Lebanon, whilst everyone else was screaming blue murder. You don't want maintain diplomatic relations with Britain?
We are you staunchest supporter in Europe. Sometimes I'm amazed at the anti-British attitude of some americans and now.. israelis!
Wonderful.
It takes time for change Avi. The MI5 have throughout the 90's ignored Islamic terrorists as long as they didn't plan to attack the UK. A fatal mistake. There's a lot of inertia. It's taking its time but things are beginning to change. Israel has faced Islamic terror from day zero. Come on. Give it a chance. We had the IRA - but they really are a different kettle of fish.
The attitude of the foreign office here has been traditionally that of the old empire. Keep the tribal chiefs on side. The antiquated and institutional viewpoints take a long time to dissolve. The idea was in the '90's that these Islamic terrorists could be the people in charge of places like Pakistan in the future, so best to get them on side.
Please Avi, think before you say things. I am British conservative, a staunch supporter of the West, including Israel and the USA - as our governments always have been.
Nutjob was me
