The presidential election could be delayed or scrapped altogether if conspiracy theories become predictive and a candidate dies or drops out before Nov. 8. The perhaps equally startling alternative, if there's enough time: Small groups of people hand-picking a replacement pursuant to obscure party rules.
The scenarios have been seriously considered by few outside of the legal community and likely are too morbid for polite discussion in politically mixed company. But prominent law professors have pondered the effects and possible ways to address a late-date vacancy.
"There's nothing in the Constitution which requires a popular election for the electors serving in the Electoral College," says John Nagle, a law professor at the University of Notre Dame, meaning the body that officially elects presidents could convene without the general public voting.
"It's up to each state legislature to decide how they want to choose the state's electors," Nagle says. "It may be a situation in which the fact that we have an Electoral College, rather than direct voting for presidential candidates, may prove to be helpful."
Both major parties do have rules for presidential ticket replacements, however, and Congress has the power to change the election date under Article II of the Constitution, which allows federal lawmakers to set dates for the selection of presidential electors and when those electors will vote.
But Congress would be up against a de facto December deadline, as the Constitution's 20th Amendment requires that congressional terms expire Jan. 3 and presidential terms on Jan. 20. Though it's conceivable to split legislative and presidential elections, they generally happen at the same time. And if the entire general election were to be moved after Jan. 3, Congress effectively would have voted themselves out of office.
Yale Law School professor Akhil Reed Amar considers in a 1994 article in the Arkansas Law Review the possibility of a special presidential election being pushed to after Jan. 20, with the speaker of the House serving as acting president until an election could pick "a real president for the remainder of the term." But he tells U.S. News that scenario probably is far-fetched.
Is it possible for the election to be delayed until after Jan. 20, leaving both the offices of president and vice president temporarily vacant? Perhaps, Amar says, but "it wouldn't make sense if it were permissible, given there actually are answers. Why would you ever do that?"
Amar recommends an up to four-week postponement of Election Day if a candidate dies just before voting, or even if there's a major terrorist attack.

Mexico issues transit visas to surge of African migrants, allows passage to U.S.

MEXICO CITY (AP) — Mexican immigration authorities say 424 migrants from African countries arrived at the southern state of Chiapas over two days last week. 

The National Immigration Institute said Tuesday that it has issued them 20-day transit visas that will allow the migrants to reach the U.S.-Mexico border, where they plan to request asylum. 

Officials call it an unusual surge and say most of the migrants first went to Brazil or Ecuador to start their journey through Latin America. 

Most of the Africans presented themselves voluntarily to immigration officials in the Chiapas town of Tapachula. They did not specify their nationalities. 

Immigration support staff in Tijuana has been aiding migrants from the Congo, Somalia and Ghana to arrive at the U.S. port of entry at San Isidro.

Islam is the dominant religion in Somalia.

Christianity is the dominant religion in Ghana, with Muslims making up 18% of the population.

Catholicism is the dominant religion in Congo, with Muslims making up 10% of the Congolese population.

Even before the FBI identified new cyber attacks on two separate state election boards, the Department of Homeland Security began considering declaring the election a "critical infrastructure," giving it the same control over security it has over Wall Street and and the electric power grid. 

The latest admissions of attacks could speed up that effort possibly including the upcoming presidential election, according to officials. 

"We should carefully consider whether our election system, our election process, is critical infrastructure like the financial sector, like the power grid," Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said. 

"There's a vital national interest in our election process, so I do think we need to consider whether it should be considered by my department and others critical infrastructure," he said at media conference earlier this month hosted by the Christian Science Monitor. 

DHS has a vital security role in 16 areas of critical infrastructure and they provide a model for what the department and Johnson could have in mind for the election. 

DHS describes it this way on their website: 

"There are 16 critical infrastructure sectors whose assets, systems, and networks, whether physical or virtual, are considered so vital to the United States that their incapacitation or destruction would have a debilitating effect on security, national economic security, national public health or safety, or any combination thereof." 

A White House policy directive adds, "The federal government also has a responsibility to strengthen the security and resilience of its own critical infrastructure, for the continuity of national essential functions, and to organize itself to partner effectively with and add value to the security and resilience efforts of critical infrastructure owners and operators."

THE DOCTOR TOLD THEM THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THEM,

While waiting at a traffic light at the corner, cursing that I was without a camera that day, I witnessed celebrating children from the mosque sliding down an air filled amusement - directly facing the new memorial under final preparations for the 10th anniversary dedication (2011). It looked like the mosque was intentionally mocking the anniversary by directly placing that amusement facing the memorial - with children gleefully sliding down the ramp - as if mocking the victims who fell from the twin towers on 9/11. 

That mosque has never held another carnival in that location before or since. All festivities were held on their property behind or next to the mosque. Keep in mind, it was no longer eid when this took place in 2011.

FBI detects breaches against two state voter systems

Friends and I were discussing this story tonight.

The Feds say that voter systems were breached. We need to harden our infrastructure there.

 

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Federal Bureau of Investigation has found breaches in Illinois and Arizona's voter registration databases and is urging states to increase computer security ahead of the Nov. 8 presidential election, according to a U.S. official familiar with the probe.

The official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said on Monday that investigators were also seeking evidence of whether other states may have been targeted...

...U.S. intelligence officials have become increasingly worried that hackers sponsored by Russia or other countries may attempt to disrupt the presidential election.

Officials and cyber security experts say recent breaches at the Democratic National Committee and elsewhere in the Democratic Party were likely carried out by people within the Russian government. Kremlin officials have denied that.

Stories like this have been popping up a lot the last 2 weeks. Almost concurrent with the rise in Hillary Health Scare stories. Little headlines to the side. Maybe a bit bigger on the main page but not YET the full blown lead story. Distract. Watch this hand not that.

Planting the seeds of doubt now in the voters mind. Let that mash ferment for a bit.

So if the election goes wrong for them they can say SEE! We told you it could be hacked and it was! It appears they got in and changed the results. We need to declare these results void and start over! or some such nonsense.

But you know, in my more manic less lucid moments when the paranoia sets in because the drones and black helicopters are drowning out even MY tinnitus I can imagine a scenario where, say, two or three weeks before the election, a certain candidate is in real trouble. Who knows. Maybe Julian makes good on his threat. Whatever.

Suddenly the press release reads "Voter systems across the 50 states breached. Cannot be counted on for credible results. ELECTIONS SUSPENDED until this can be sorted out."

Major Clinton Foundation Donor Denied Entry to US on Terrorism Charges

A Lebanese-Nigerian billionaire who donated millions to Clinton-family nonprofits was denied a visa to enter the United States last year on terrorism-related grounds, according to a new report. 

Gilbert Chagoury, who donated millions to the Clinton Foundation and in 2009 pledged $1 billion to the Clinton Global Initiative, was denied entry last summer amid a review of his ties in Lebanon to Hezbollah, the Los Angeles Times reported Sunday. 

The Trump campaign quickly renewed its call for a shutdown of the Clinton Foundation. 

“The fact a major Clinton Foundation donor was denied entry into the US over ties to the terrorist group Hezbollah is deeply troubling, especially when this individual had access to top aides at Hillary Clinton’s State Department,” Trump spokesman Jason Miller said Sunday, calling for the release of Clinton’s schedules and the shutdown of the charity. 

The Trump team also released a new Web ad Sunday accusing the Clinton Foundation of being a “slush fund” that “sold access to the State Department.” 

“Hillary Clinton’s corruption has been exposed again,” the ad says.

Crowd at Trump Rally in Akron, Ohio is a Sea of Women, Minorities, Independents And Former Democrats (VIDEO)

This video is from just six days ago at a Trump rally in Akron, Ohio. 

A reporter from InfoWars wanders the crowd and asks people what their party affiliation is. She finds tons of former Democrats and many independents. 

The other thing that’s remarkable about this video is the diversity of the crowd. Black people, whites, Hispanics, men, women, young and old are represented. 

Isn’t it amazing how CNN and other “news” networks are unable to see this kind of diversity at Trump events? 

It’s almost like they only see what they want to see.

Roseanne Barr Calls Out “Anti-Semite” Hillary Clinton

Jewish actress/comedian Roseanne Barr repeatedly slammed Hillary Clinton on Twitter, saying Clinton “will be the absolute death of Israel.” 

Barr posted numerous inflammatory remarks, videos and articles about the Democratic presidential nominee this week, including one that refers to her as “Hitlery Clinton” and another that labels her “anti-Semitic Hillary.” 

On Friday alone, Barr tweeted and re-tweeted several posts about Clinton and her aide Huma Abedin, whom Barr labeled “a filthy nazi whore.” A Muslim American, Abedin is married to former Democratic congressman Anthony Weiner, is Jewish.

When I went to my first Trump rally in California earlier this year I noticed two male protestors holding up signs with a picture of Donald Trump next to a Nazi flag that read: “Stop Nazi Trump.” What I found so shocking about this was not the sign itself but the irony of this picture. As they held up these signs, hordes of protesters around them spit, swore and physically pushed Trump supporters — including women and children – as they walked in and out of the event.

The irony is that these protestors that are so quick to cast Trump as Adolf Hitler are using the same violent tactics that Hitler’s Brownshirts, aka the SA, executed against Nazi opponents in the years leading up to the German dictator’s rise to power in 1933. The radical groups that support Hillary Clinton are using these same methods of fear, violence, ridicule and intimidation. Her supporters are blindly endorsing the one candidate that is manipulating them to use the same criminal tactics Hitler’s followers applied; yet, they are too ill informed to realize this. They’ve been brainwashed to believe that Trump is the bad guy.

The Brownshirts, originally named the Strurmabteilung, which means Storm Department, attracted many unemployed and unhappy young people. Their purpose was to provide protection for Nazi meetings and rallies and also to disrupt the meetings of opposing parties and to fight and attack members of these parties. They quickly got a reputation for being a well-organized gang of violent thugs. Hitler’s Brownshirts would roam the streets at night and beat up anyone who openly opposed Hitler.

A survivor of a Bridge collapse in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and he just happened to go join ISIS?!!!?!!!!?!!!!!?!!!!!?!!!!!!?????????

What do you think of that? Doesn't that sound a little suspicious?

I mean, if that's not an odd coincidence, then there must be a lot more radical Muslims than merely a Tiny Minority of Extremists.

On Aug. 1, 2007, at 6:05 p.m., the I-35W bridge across the Mississippi River in Minneapolis collapsed, killing 13 people and injuring 145 others. 

The event is one of the worst manmade disasters in Minnesota history, as USA Today wrote.

Yes, I find this strange.

So, what caused the bridge to collapse?

Cameras and motion detectors were added to the site around the bridge to ward off intruders who, officials said, were hindering the investigation.[120] Hennepin County Sheriff Richard W. Stanek stated, 

"We are treating this as a crime scene at this point. There's no indication there was any foul play involved, [but] it's a crime scene until we can determine what was the cause of the collapse."[121] 

Officials with DHS said there was no indication that terrorism was involved.[124] 

Although officials emphasized that the cause of the collapse had not yet been determined, Peters cautioned states to "remain mindful of the extra weight construction projects place on bridges."[125] 

Within days, bridge inspections were stepped up throughout the United States.[126] FHWA advised states to inspect the 700 U.S. bridges of similar construction[127] after identifying a possible design flaw related to large steel sheets called gusset plates, which connect girders in the truss structure.[128][129] 

Officials raised questions as to why such a flaw would not have been discovered in over 40 years of inspections.[129] The flaw was first discovered by Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, Inc., an independent consulting firm hired by Mn/DOT to investigate the cause of the collapse.[129] 

On January 15, 2008, the NTSB announced it had determined that the bridge's design specified steel gusset plates that were undersized and inadequate to support the intended load of the bridge,[130] a load that had increased over time.[131]

So, in other words, they never really determined what caused the bridge to collapse. But they did rule out "terrorism".

As a Canadian i remember the hype a number of years ago about Canadians having low levels of Vit D in our system.

According to Stats Canada:

Vitamin D plays an important role in bone growth and maintenance because it helps the body absorb calcium and phosphorus.1,2

In children, low levels of vitamin D can cause rickets, a condition characterized by soft bones and skeletal deformities. 

In adults, low levels of vitamin D can lead to osteoporosis (decreased bone mass) which is especially true for women, which also increases the risk of fractures. 

Some research suggests that adequate vitamin D may have benefits, such as lowering the risk of breast and colorectal cancer3,4, cardiovascular disease in men5, and multiple sclerosis. However, the research supporting the benefits of vitamin D, other than for bone health, is still inconclusive.

Vitamin D is unique because it can be made by the body through exposure to sunlight while most vitamins need to be ingested. That is why it is commonly known as the 'sunshine vitamin.' The body's ability to produce vitamin D is affected by factors such as latitude (distance from the sun), season, time of day, cloud cover, smog, clothing coverage, and sunscreen use.

Skin pigmentation is also linked to vitamin D levels. Melanin in the skin evolved as an effective natural sunscreen. Those with darker skin pigment, or more melanin, have more difficulty producing vitamin D from the sun.

The body's ability to produce vitamin D from the sun also declines with age. For example, a person aged 70 makes, on average, 25% of the vitamin D that a 20-year-old makes when exposed to the same amount of sunlight.

The most comprehensive survey ever undertaken on vitamin D in Canadians has found widespread deficiencies of the sunshine vitamin, which is being promoted for everything from the prevention of cancer to reducing heart attack risk. 

The survey, conducted by Statistics Canada, found that two-thirds of the population has vitamin D levels below the amounts research is associating with reduced risk of chronic diseases such as cancer, while one in 10, or more than three million people, have such low readings that they don’t have enough for good bone health. About 4 per cent have so little that they’re at risk for rickets, a debilitating childhood bone disease.

Statscan also found a huge vitamin D disparity among Canadians based on racial origin, with whites having substantially higher concentrations than the prevailing levels in the country’s growing non-white population. Whites had an average of nearly 40 per cent more of the nutrient than non-whites. 

It termed low levels of the vitamin a “worldwide problem,” and said most Canadians don’t have concentrations at “the level proposed for optimal health.”

Scientific study in Turkey: Clothing preference affects vitamin D status of young women.

Vitamin D deficiency is associated with several chronic diseases, which include cardiovascular, autoimmune diseases, and cancer.

Several factors such as exposure to sunlight, skin color, dietary habits, and cultural factors affect serum vitamin D levels.

We hypothesized that serum vitamin D levels in young women are associated with clothing styles and investigated this via a cross-sectional study that included 100 female students at Istanbul Medipol University.

Our study used a questionnaire in order to collect demographic information. Serum calcium, 25-hydroxyvitamin D, alkaline phosphatase, and parathyroid hormone levels were determined via standard laboratory tests. We deployed bioelectrical impedance analysis to measure body composition, and we then determined the body mass index (BMI), waist circumference, and total body fat values. The mean age was 20.9 ± 2.1 years.

Subjects' data were divided into 2 groups based on their clothing styles: covered (Muslim style clothing) and uncovered.

Muslim style clothing, which covers the whole body but leaves the face and hands exposed, was worn by 40.0% of the undergraduate students. 

The mean BMI (in kilograms per meter squared) of the subjects was 23.0 ± 3.6. The BMI value for the covered students was 24.0 ± 4.0, and that for the uncovered students was 22.3 ± 3.1. Of the subjects, 28.0% had a BMI of at least 25 kg/m(2) (overweight). Serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D (in nanograms per milliliter), parathyroid hormone (in picograms per milliliter), alkaline phosphatase (in units per liter), and calcium levels (in milligrams per deciliter) were 21.1 ± 6.7, 27.5 ± 9.2, 65.9 ± 10.9, and 9.0 ± 0.2 for covered students, respectively, and 29.7 ± 3.1, 24.3 ± 6.1, 62.8 ± 13.2, and 9.0 ± 0.4, respectively, for uncovered students. 

The prevalence of vitamin D deficiencies was 55.0% for covered and 20.0% for uncovered students. 

The vitamin D status was found to be statistically significant and had a negative correlation with the duration of Islamic dressing (P < .05, r = -0.334). 

We concluded that the vitamin D levels of young women are associated with clothing style, and the age at which a female begins wearing Muslim style clothing is related.

Hmmmm........So ladies go ahead coverup but don't complain about Osteoporosis, Cancer, Cardio vascular problems....etc, the choice is yours!
