MIT GRAD TERRORIST
Captured MIT Grad Linked to Trove of al-Qaeda Secrets
(Newser) – A suspected al-Qaeda operative arrested in Afghanistan last month could provide a treasure trove of intelligence about terrorist sleeper cells in the US and abroad, government sources tell ABC News. MIT graduate Aafia Siddiqui, 36, was captured carrying maps of New York, a list of potential targets, information on chemical weapons, and a cache of emails, according to authorities.
The information found in the Pakistani woman's handbag makes her “the most significant capture in 5 years,” said a former CIA officer. “We knew that she had been involved in the planning of a wide variety of different operations.” In 2004 Siddiqui became the first woman wanted by the government because of links to al-Qaeda.
(Newser) – An MIT-trained Pakistani neuroscientist with suspected al-Qaeda ties has been charged with trying to kill American soldiers and FBI agents while in custody last month, the New York Times reports. Aafia Siddiqui, who disappeared in Pakistan in 2003, turned up in Afghanistan, where she was detained for loitering suspiciously outside a governor’s compound. She was found to be carrying documents on explosives-making and jars of unidentified substances.
The next day two FBI agents and two soldiers entered the police station where, unknown to them, Siddiqui was being held, unrestrained, behind a curtain. When one of the warrant officers set his M-4 rifle down, Siddiqui grabbed it and fired two errant shots before she was wounded and restrained. She is being arraigned in the US.

Now the liberal morons better not intervene here.
Nothing better than sending a woman. Just goes to show you that nobody can be trusted.
We are so infiltrated it's not even funny anymore.
Great blog! I would add it, except that you have the biggest Al-Taqiyya folks linking to your alliance "Muslims Against Sharia"
Why reform something that is false in the first place?
Siren,
I understand your criticism of Muslims Against Sharia.
And honestly, I have no idea whether to believe they are sincere or not.
But, I konw that putting forth such an idea will earn you a fatwa, and those guys have laid it on the line to that extent.

Well Siren,
got news for you, USE TO BE THAT WAY IN CHRISTIANITY TOO BEFORE WHAT THEY CALL
THE REFORMATION
and prior to that, women didn't do so well, well, hell, screw prior--they Still don't do so well in some religious areas [non-Muslim]
you know they used to burn women to the stake too,
but I do think that yes, there ARE some, moderate Muslims--it would be extremely 'narrow' to thing there cannot be,
the PROBLEM is, however,
is there enough basis in the Koran to actually progress or interpret enough to actually move forwards towards reform, or is there not?
And, personally I don't believe there is--but, I've read debates that there is plenty in the Koran that would be basis to
outlaw Sharia
move forward with times, etc etc etc
HOWEVER--IN LIGHT OF THE VIOLENT THREAT,
we DON'T HAVE THE LUXURY OF THAT TIME to wait for 'reform'.
Not only that, but the 'reform' movement in Islam is extremely small, and yes, pastorius, they are indeed in danger
I think we need to remember something, Islam, is branded into them via force since infanthood,
its NOT like here, where one can one day just CHOOSE a faith or CHOOSE TO LEAVE THE FAITH,
in those countries, its not just a one day a week visit as some nominal [and usually hypocritical as hell] church...
no, its every single day, prayers and life and customs and dress...with iron fisted terror,
so, there ARE Muslims who either due to being 'liberal' get persecuted and they may leave, be angry at the system, but they still don't leave the faith,
if other religious people have that cognitive dissonance with far LESS controlling religions just Think what it must be for one who has lived and only known Islam all their life?
There is that 'fear of hell' that is very strong--and JUST like in Christianity, people Can take those books and pull out texts to aid them in MODERATING their faith or in attempting to understand where the religion might be misconstrued by ORGANIZED religions,
and we did it in Christianity--during the abolitionist movement slavery was by many Christians totally legit--
and hard for many others to reconcile that.
I have poured over the Muslims for Sharia and either its the real deal, and could possibly be, or,
its a monitoring to see people's reactions, or its truly non-muslims posing as muslims...
but it does expose a lot of coverage that is good--and That is what is important--is Confronting the ideology and the abuses of that ideology--what it causes,
in fact, confronting Misogyny wherever it is [far as I'm concerned--just because one is non-Muslim doesn't give them a 'free I can be a sexist asswipe card because I damn sure will call them on it--as well as the women who play into that patriarchal garbage because as long as THOSE justifications are tolerated--all the work we DO IN WOMEN'S HUMAN RIGHTS AND ESPECIALLY IN ISLAM
IS NULL AND VOID when same shit goes on here even on a minute level].
Again however, whether they are legit or not, if they are, Great, I totally support any BRAVE enough to challenge their own, its a hard thing to do,
hell Most here in the west can't do it--its group think this group think that and oh my fricking god anything for MALE AFFIRMATION
puke puke and PUKE.
But--in light of the very real threat, the fact that THE MAJORITY OF ISLAMISTS want our heads--we simply cannot wait for reform. NOT in this day and age with the terrorism and the nuclear threats,
I work confronting the left and far left--but I'm realistic enough to KNOW, that, if we Wait until some kind of 'enlightenment' where Islam is concerned, it will be too late,
but nethertheless--one does it because its the Right thing to do. I'd rather see people confronting,
than being complacent, indifferent, and/or giving assent to. But it doesn't hurt to use caution and wisdom as well--and if they are legit--one good thing,
is that for those young Muslims in this country, that are somewhat Americanized--if they Read that site--rather than just Madrassas and all the other jihadist brainwashing,
that works for us, not against us. And if you look at that site--they list the 'posers' of liberal Islam,
and they are in institutions, in our governments, in our banking and IN OUR EDUCATION system--and That, is FAR more dangerous,
than a small minority of true moderates, and its those who need to be confronted the most.
off topic, but have any of you seen the gulags they have set up in Denver for the DNC protest? Even the Republicans didn't take it this far--

Hi MAS!
Yet we meet again. You had to post anon so this blog doesn't see really who you are.
Slavery was also legit for muslims and they enslaved thousands if they didn't slaughtered them (BTW, they still do), so your comparison is nothing but an empty third-rate attempt at trying to make one religion look bad so the false demonized muhammadan islam is somewhat exonerated.
"got news for you, USE TO BE THAT WAY IN CHRISTIANITY TOO BEFORE WHAT THEY CALL
THE REFORMATION"
I believe that is not what Christians were like or you didn't read the new testament?
You need to resort to compare islam to Christianity to make your points? Sad, very sad.
And you see the main problem is that there is nothing to reform when the source is a lie. You will then be reforming a lie. How does that work?
About "moderate" muslims, those we hear of but never from. They are only potential jihadists, or victims. I am with and organization that constantly asks muslims to stand up against many horrible acts being committed in the name of islam, and we never get any responses. None. And here is where they can actually stand up. This is not Iran or Saudi. No protests ever... Where is that protest?
PS. If you are not MAS then why do they go and attack with the most henious insults, especially to women bloggers?
IBA,
Please check and see if this comment came from Omaha, NE
I will tell you and show you exactly what they do, especially to women bloggers.
