Doug Hagmann at Northeast Intelligence Network reports that muslims from the New York-New Jersey area are showing up in increasing numbers for Friday night prayers at the "Park51" mosque-rabat, to create the appearance of a large muslim presence and "need" for prayer facilities in that neighborhood.
As anyone who has been down there knows, most of the time Park Place is a block-long snooze zone in the midst of bustling lower Manhattan. Until recently anyone there on a Friday night was probably either headed for the Dakota Roadhouse, or lost. This is changing as the Rauf/Gamal gang imports growing groups of out-of-towners for inflated displays of devotion on Friday nights.

At the direction of some of the principal planners of the Islamic cultural center at Ground Zero in lower Manhattan, Muslims from across the five boroughs of New York and New Jersey are quietly being urged to attend Friday prayer services that are being held at the former Burlington retail store on Park Place. This is being done to deceptively inflate Muslim demographics in lower Manhattan while creating a misleading but convincingly effective visual display of the need for the center.
This tactic is currently being used in Paris, as shown in this CBN video report. An undercover French videographer captured covert video footage of Muslims lining the streets of Paris, blocking and closing off the streets as a display of their power and influence. According to his observations, the Muslims engaged in these activities are not indigenous to the area. He has observed vehicles filled with Muslims coming from different parts of the city to purposely swell the numbers.
During the course of my investigation, I interviewed a long-time business owner located in close proximity to the planned Islamic center on Park Place. He told me that ever since the opposition to the Islamic center became public, the numbers of prayer participants at the intended site has increased dramatically. “A year ago, there was hardly any foot traffic to and from [Park Place]. Within the last few months, I’ve seen cars and other vehicles with out of state license plates parking at various lots and the men walking to Park Place. A lot of the cars have New Jersey license plates.” In consideration of his business and fearing for his safety, he has requested that his name and address not be published.
As part of my continuing investigation into this matter, I’ve personally verified his claims. I’ve conducted surveillance of Park Place and the adjacent areas on different occasions, observing numerous vehicles bearing license plates from New Jersey and even Pennsylvania parking in nearby lots. I’ve observed the occupants walk to the Park Place location, and following the services inside, walk back to their vehicles and leave the area.
Also according to this source, the mood among the Muslims participating in the Friday services has changed dramatically within the last several weeks. “Last year, I would talk to three, maybe four Muslims, at most, after Friday prayers. They were quite reserved. Now, I see dozens of Muslims in groups and their mood, attitude, behavior and conversation is anything but reserved. It is contentious. They appear to be activists on a mission,” he stated.

Its seems the backers of the Ground Zero Mosque are going to great lengths to see that its built. They must be really determined to stick it too the American people. If Rauf really was all about tolerance as he and some of his backers claim, why hasn't he backed down, given how much this is upsetting so many Americans who lost loved ones on 9/11.
They think Americans are too stupid to care about this (to the degree they surely understand Americans really ought to). They see some resistance, but they also see many useful idiots perfectly willing to sell out their own culture. That bolsters their determination and makes them redouble their efforts.
It's that superiority thing coupled with long term determination. 1400 years of kicking a dead horse can spread what's left of it around the world, and that's a source of great pride to them.

Hate to admit it, but I don't see any other way at this point that Americans are going to wake up unless the equivalent of a volunteer fire department signal air horn goes off right next to their collective ears. (Having had that experience once many years ago, I can vouch for its effectiveness.)
I can't even flog the Pearl Harbor analogy any more. We had our Pearl Harbor on 9/11/01. If we'd reacted this way in 1941, everyone west of the Mississippi would be speaking Japanese and the rest would be speaking German. What we are looking at now is like a re-manifestation of our worst Cold War fears, or will be once there's a Caliphate and it goes nuclear. If the Center For Security Policy report is accurate, the first Team B report that eventually turned Reagan away from detente may have ultimately saved us from nuclear war. Will something awaken this country to the threat of Islam in the same way? Maybe there is still that chance, hard as it is to believe now.
At the very least, we who do know will be prepared.

Actually, if the Axis had won World War 2 in addition to every other bad thing that would have happened as a result, I think that Axis would have gone to war with itself and a lot more innocent people would have died. I have a suspicion that Germany and the Japan would have eventually ended up fighting each other somehow in a genocidal dual to the death.

For me, sadly it is more simple, though, I believe, less binary. There is no history of moderate Islam, in any country, at any time on Earth. To say that we can grow a moderate Islam is like believing we could grow a moderate Mafia. Islam is a racket with an all-encompassing system of law attached to it. It is a government, a political system.
We would not consider it rational to adopt the Soviet Constitution, so why should we consider it reasonable to adopt Sharia.
Until there is a massive movement of Muslims opposed to Sharia - and there is no evidence of such at this point - we fools to believe we can even integrate Islam.
Islam has destroyed every culture it has touched.
