The Federalist is a good website. It brings in more intelligent commenters than other websites.
However, it seems that intelligence just means people use bigger words, longer sentences, and more well-constructed paragraphs to say the same stupid shit they say at your typical Yahoo comments thread.
I feel like I have reached a new era of my "Conversion" from Left to Right.
When I started to identify myself as a Conservative, I felt that I had not changed, but that the Democrats had abandoned me.
I still feel like that to a large extent. HOwever, I must admit that I have become MORE Conservative with time. To a large extent that is a result of the lunacy of the left convincing me there is almost no basis for most of their arguments.
HOWEVER, recently, I have realized that most of my fellow Conservatives are willing to sit down at the table with the GOP and dine on shit sandwiches for the rest of eternity, and then they will call that the Feast of the Lamb of God.
These people have no fucking principles either.
Most Christians I know don't know the fucking Bible and they confuse morality with being nice.
they have no gratitude for the laws and Constitution that have given them the Freedom to worship. Their lack of Gratitude for their Freedoms and the structures that sustain those Freedoms has all but convinced me they don't worship at all. Instead, they sings songs and feel good and act nice to each other, and they call that a relationship with God.
Truthfully, I feel absolutely abandoned by Conservatives and Christians at this point.
I have become convinced we need to start over.

This is true, because Freedom is an individual act, and is revolutionary in it's own essence. (Read Sartre - that's what I have been spending my time on lately). And if Freedom is to be sustained for Individuals, they must act in concert against the ever rising tide of fascism that emanates from the lazy-motherfuckers who want to steal their way through life.
But it is not JUST for the purposes of Liberty that we need to have a revolution.
Unfortunately, Nietzsche was also right. In order to live a life of Freedom one needs to have the hardness to be willing to war for it.
We have become too soft.
We're living in very sick times. And, as strange as it is to say, we may need a war so that we DON'T wipe ourselves out completely.
A brutal war will blow away all the relativism and PC crap and return to absolutism. The next world war will be killed or be killed and there will be no center ground. What we need now is a rabid enemy that wants to eliminate us like we had in WWII WAIT ---we have one!
Actually there is some truth in that statement. I have seen that that perception sure seems to guide some Jews. One must remember that jealousy is a very strong emotion. So contemplate what exactly God meant when He told Moses that he would move the Jews to jealousy via true Christianity. THIS is UNFORTUNATELY how many Jews experience Christianity and this is why THIS is filled.
