I think he handled that very well. He's a politician, we know about his tweet, he answered it without killing himself.
He's the VP pick, he's supposed to deal with Washington for Trump (the one criteria Trump cited throughout his campaign).
Watching him on Hannity helped a lot.
No one cares what Joe Biden "thinks".
