Dr. Muhammad Wahdan: Ibn Al-Qayyem recounts that when Hagar married Abraham and got pregnant, Sarah was very jealous of her. Because of her jealousy, she swore by Allah that she would cut off three of Hagar's body parts. Abraham was afraid that she would cut off Hagar's nose or ears,so he instructed her to pierce Hagar's ears and to circumcise her. This was the beginning of female circumcision in history.

Expose the barbarity! Don't let up!
Share images so that individual bloggers can slam these images up all over the place.
Repost various articles you've written. New people are searching all the time, but they don't often go back through your archives.
This must be done!
I don't find many "original" images, but anything at my site, including text I've written, is up for grabs. The same goes for any comment I make, anywhere in the blogosphere. Use it, copy-and-paste, whatever. Credit me or not--I don't care. Besides, this good fight isn't about the individual egos of us infidels; it's all about spreading the word.
Beslan must not be forgotten. Children were brutalized, for God's sake. Brutality abounds in the Islamic world. We have a moral obligation to make sure that the world doesn't forget Beslan. The same goes for the sexual mutilation of females.
Don't let these atrocities get swept under the rug!
Use the very words of Muslims, the words which are blatantly barbaric.

For more on this subject, I HIGHLY recommend trying to find Somalian refugee filmmaker Soraya Mire's film on the subject, "Fire Eyes". I met her after a viewing of her film during college and her work and her life are fascinating. She was circumcised, and after leaving Somalia she realized the full impact of what had been done to her. Her 60 minute documentary on the subject is absolutely amazing, especially with the interviews with women who decry what had been done to them, but still insist in the end that at least a minor form of this "rite of passage" should be done to their own daughters. Quite overwhelming.

Always on the watch, the enthusiasm in your rant is contagious! Yes, it must simply be exposed over and over until most of us are aware.
I was surprised to find how few people know the psychological and physical cruelty in Islam and the insidious effects on the entire world. Mainstream Muslims in Islamic countries as well of course, don't seem to realize what their the religious authorities are doing to them using "Allah" and the deadly beloved Prophet. Religion combined with politics is a poisonous and explosive combo.
Muslims gave up thinking about it or have been doublethinking long ago it is too dangerous. Irshad Manji explains cleaverly why here.
It is possible to discuss this intimately (one on one) with Muslims in the ME, they are sensitive to the cruelty but they are not sure who does what, I think, and there is the rest. It is a matter of a major educational campaign. However teaching reality is a challenge when the Islamic governments are watching. Our best shot is through Muslims outside the Islamic borders. Islam thinks it has no borders, but it does!!!

Doomed Africa, it is now half Islam, but in the worst way.
A clitoris is a long item, in some cases I read that they will pull the whole thing out. Imagine the pain. When watching the MEMRI video, I wished the wonderful Dr. Zarrar or the interviewer would have asked "Dr." Muhammad Wahdan, if he would consider cutting off half of his son's penis and his own as well, why not, just to keep them chaste and pure.

I'm doing more ranting these days, almost with an air of desperation. But I've got a few clients, previously just "not interested," now listening to me and requesting my recommendations for reading material. Moving in the right direction, at least.
It pays to have perseverance. I use some diplomacy and the facts. Those with brains do pay attention, even if not immediately.
We have powerful tools available to us--especially the freedoms of speech and press (blogs). Use them!
