"Donald Trump will not be the nominee."
Back in October, I tried to tell one of the inner circle (an individual whom I will not, at this point, name):
"If you don't get out in front of this right now and put up a candidate who addresses the issues that the peasants beyond the moat care about, Donald Trump will take the party right out from under you."
I was told more than once in the hours long meeting:
"We must remain tethered to reality."
Here's your reality, Karl et al,...
Donald Trump is the 2016 GOP nominee.

That person, and the Karl Roves now have a BIGGER decision to make. If they are NOT all in, they will become political persona non grata EXCEPT inside the lobbying moat, and there will be something else, not the GOP.
Don't write the Rovers off yet...in the recent past they have discussed - in closed door 'rules' meetings - discussed the possibility of running a third party candidate to throw the election in favor of Clinton.
Now is Bernie is crazy enough to run third party as well...Trump will be the next POTUS.
However, if only the GOPe/RNC produce a third party candidate...all hell breaks loose as the groundswell against the betrayals by the political elite is unleashed.
Methinks these GOPe grandees will shortly accept that Trump is now a given and will soon go to scheming how to co-opt him and regain their power. While knocking the Democrats on their asses at the same time. Most Republicans are slow learners but only a few are the full Glenn Beck.
The man with whom I had the meeting is declaring defiance -- directed at Priebus.
Nothing Trump has indicated he will do is anything other than what the Repubs have been claiming they would do for a very long time.
But I think we can agree that what has gotten them so angry with Trump is:
1) his vehement opposition to Illegal Immigration
2) His stated opposition to Islamic immigration
and
3) his opposition to endless "Free Trade" to the diminution of the American worker
Now what do those three things have in common?
Nothing on the fade of it. One is as different from the other as the other.
Therefore, I am left to believe they have something in common BEHIND THE SCENES,
IN OTHER WORDS
DEALS
WITHOUT GENEROUS KICKBACKS BUILT-IN
That's why they hate Trump.
And that's why the GOP is a imminent threat to our Republic that needs to be destroyed.
Karl Rove? He can't call in the favors. My guess is he is calling individuals and they are not returning his calls. They are smart enough to know that their political survival and future is dependent on a new Sheriff coming to town.
Karl Rove? Call his town "Tombstone". Time to give the man a decent obituary.
What about the journalism hacks who penned the articles in _National Review_?

Don't think for a moment that Trump can only take down the small fish like Michelle Fields. He is capable of taking down Glenn Beck - the man who threatened to stab him and keep stabbing. Trump still calls the media dishonest.

AoW- then it's the END of the GOP and the END of the 2 party system because you can be sure, if HRC then is elected, and a 3rd party is formed led by Trump, or the vestiges of what is now CALLED the GOP, the progressives will ABSOLUTELY do the same thing on their end of the bell curve.
