Has anyone else noticed how increasingly this is referred to not as the most destructive wildfire in "modern" American history, but in American history, period? There are at least three 19th century wildfire with loss of life high enough to beat even the speculative estimates for Maui. Not that this could have anything to do with the attempts to link this disaster to "climate change", now could it?
And, as the man says, who is going to profit from it?
