Mike Pompeo says there will be a 'smooth transition to a second Trump administration' despite world leaders now lining up to talk to Biden 

Following President Donald Trump's lead, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo refuse to concede that President-elect Joe Biden won the 2020 election 

When asked by a reporter about whether the State Department would cooperate in Trump-to-Biden transition, Pompeo made a quip 

'There will be a smooth transition to a second Trump administration,' 

Pompeo said Later, 

Biden laughed at the mention of Pompeo's name as he tried to appear unbothered that the president has refused to concede 

A number of world leaders have ignored Trump's insistance, with the heads of Canada, France, Germany, Ireland and the U.K. all speaking with Biden
