Another Cry From the Heart of the Southwest's War Zone

Thomason Hospital, in El Paso, Texas, Is On Lockdown
To Protect The Badly Injured Mexican Mayors, Sheriffs, And Other Mexican Officials Taken There for Treatment

BUMPED TO THE TOP FOR THE REST OF THE DAY - SCROLL DOWN FOR NEWER POSTS

The email posted below did not come from a "militiaman" or "minuteman" or anyone out patrolling our southwestern border with a rifle trying to keep the chaos at bay. This comes from a middle-aged retired educator friend of mine, an ordinary American woman trying to live a normal life as a battle line moves relentlessly nearer to her home. This is what you won't hear from the libtard MSM, the Obama administration, the Democrats, or the Southern Poverty Law Center. This is the situation to which they are abandoning our fellow Americans, threatening them, lying about them, ridiculing them, smearing them as racists, and making cheap jokes about them as they try to protect themselves from savages.

Southwest Texas

I figured the East Coast Beltway has been hearing less than nothing about what's happening in the Southwest. I've always suspected and now have confirmed that they don't give a dam. Now we, down here, must decide how best to protect ourselves and deal with invasion from Mexico and South America.

You've probably heard people like Lettermen with all sorts of cute little East Coast remarks to make, but
The Minutemen are NOT to be dismissed. Despite all the leftwing out and out lies, not ONE single shot has ever been fired by a Minuteman. They have camcorders,
and they are documenting what is happening. These films have been sent to the authorities and ignored, lost, wave the hands, and not responded to.

GOVERNORS of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona have placed MANY requests for federal assistance with these border problems. A token is sent for a couple of weeks or this has been absolutely ignored.
People are slowly beginning to realize that Washington--that the East Coast doesn't give a damn--in fact, actually thinks the whole thing rather "funny". With that realization is coming resentment, sorrow, frustration, rage, anger, and, not too distant future, realizing that no help is coming from Washington--even though help has been sent in the past--there have been a number of times when the federal government has had to send troops down here and into Mexico to deal with the bandits--which is what all this is--but now, we are beginning to realize that no help is coming.

It's up to us, and those who act will still be law abiding good American citizens. They will be arrested and punished and lose their property for daring to try and protect it and themselves from the bandits, but those next in line, seeing what is done to the law abiding ones, will know what to do--what to expect--our country is in real danger of breaking apart.

There's an old senator from California [Pete Stark]--I watched the SOB at a townhall meeting--he's been in Washington so long--has so much money--he's out of touch--he was so contemptuous and mocking: "If I give you Minutemen some bricks and mortar, will you stop shooting immigrants and build a little wall for yourselves?"
What's happening is "funny" to him.
The person talking to him kept repeating: "We want the federal government to do what it's legally required to do and you're not doing it." Soon as that speaker fully understands that the federal government is NOT going to do anything and furthermore, doesn't give a damn, he'll know what to do.

The drug cartels, with all that money, the Mexican government hasn't the weapons or the manpower or even the will to confront these 21st century bandits.
These drug cartels even have songs composed glorifying their exploits and having them played on Mexican radio stations.

They've murdered, in broad daylight, mayors and district attorneys and those who speak out against them.
They've walked into drug rehabilitation facilities, taken the people out, 18 to 24 people--shot them dead--even children and infants.
Thomason Hospital [in El Paso, Texas] is on lockdown--so many of the badly injured Mexican mayors, sheriffs, etc. etc. are being taken there for treatment--heck, they're just down the street from where it happened.
Mexicans who are able, are fleeing to Texas, Southern California, Arizona, New Mexico--fleeing for their lives.

I watch the Mexican television stations all the time-- listen to their radio stations. They don't have limits on the "power" that is used like we do in the states. This means that Mexican television and radio, actually overpowers US signals. You watch and sometimes you can't tell if what you're seeing is Iraq or simply what's happening in Mexico--Juarez especially.
Our federal government is NOT living up to its constitutional obligations to defend and patrol our border. Decent, law abiding landowners, business owners on the border are at the mercy of criminals who come thru--even Mexican military strut thru, armed, uniformed--and you call for help and are blown off or laughed at or warned "Don't take the law into your hands.
The greatest crime of all is anything that could smack of "vigilantism"--which is actually "racism"--"you wouldn't have fussed if the bandits had been Bulgarian, after all, you know." And it's the being laughed at and mocked and ridiculed and insulted by other parts of this nation that is so hurtful and destructive.
When this happens to the Southwest or the South, perhaps the underlying opinion--unspoken of course, is that the truly intelligent and worthy are there in that magic East Coast Beltway-Washington DC, and, the rest of us, perhaps we deserve what we're getting.
Well, even the most unobservant down here are finally getting the message. Right now there's still a bit of self delusion about--people who still don't fully "get it"--sort of like the faithful loving wife of 47 years being given proof of a husband's long term infidelity and double life, but, more and more, people down here are "getting it".

Pastorius' Parting Question:

What do you think happens when the people lose all confidence that their government - the government which adds more and more taxes everyday - does not represent them, does not care about them, does not do the job we pay them to do?

Thomason Hospital -- El Paso's Version of "St. Elsewhere"

I really opened the floodgates when I asked my friend who lives near El Paso how she was affected by the situation down there. FOX at the very least should be videotaping interviews with people like this every damn day.

Thomason Hospital is close by The Bridge of the America's. The Mexican mayors and police officers and such who have been shot, have all been taken to that hospital for treatment. I don't know if it's still on lockdown, but I wouldn't doubt it. They're like a war triage center, when you stop and think about it. In 2006 with my mom sick in the ICU, a lot of this was happening--they had to have lock down and armed guards to prevent drug cartel hitmen from entering the hospital and killing their wounded targets.

They've come a dragged Americans--or, at least, those living here--dragged them back to Mexico and killed--I'm talking about neighbors seeing individuals beaten, taped up, hauled off, and our police not coming, or, they're too scared to call for help. Again, people who are here illegally don't want to call attention to themselves even to save lives--it's very bad.

It is incredibly sad and insulting to ridicule and demean our national heritage, but, it's part of the bigger plan to do away with nationalism and go to world citizenship and government. We don't have to meekly go along with it, of course, but that doesn't mean we'll win because we're historically accurate. Sad for us all is the fact that history is considered BORING and nobody even want to know what happened in 1965, much less 1775 -- and, you can't force generatisons after generations to do what they've decided they don't want to do. If you don't know the past, you don't know why the present is as it is, and, you don't know how to plan for the future--what "worked" and what didn't work--pitfalls, traps to avoid, but you can't force masses of individuals to learn history. Even the little children--if something is five minutes old, hey it's history and who cares.

And here's something special for all those libtards prattling about how the border crisis is nothing but "racism" --

I worked as a teacher in almost totally--I'd say 98% hispanic--classrooms. Even the dear little 1st graders--I've had Hispanic teachers come in for whatever reason--and chew them out in Spanish for mistreating me because I'm Anglo. I loved the students very much and was a very good teacher, but that was something I had to deal with. Who, I wonder, is telling these children it's okay to throw objects at Anglos.

Don't tell me, lemmee guess...

Our Southern Border is a War Zone

I received the following yesterday in an email from a friend who lives in southwestern Texas. How much of this has appeared in the MSM as compared to reports of "protests" by East Coast libtards against the "racist" Arizona law?

[B]eing right on the border with Juarez, which is now the murder capital of the world or at least in the top three, we are very apprehensive. Few days ago, a spray of bullets struck one of the federal buildings in downtown El Paso-it came from the gunfight across the border, near the bridge.

It is all out war between and with the drug cartels. It is an absolute war zone--nobody is safe, and, violence is 24/7. A reporter from the BBC was doing a report from Juarez Mexico--went out with the police on an evening shift. [T]his man was a seasoned, experienced war correspondant from England, in the space of an hour, he interviewed a weeping woman, her murdered husband was still slumped bleeding over the steering wheel, and then, moments later, a 7 year old boy was shot dead--the reporter was there--somebody had draped a blanket over the body--a man standing next to the reporter was desperate with fear that it was his grandson--the blanket was lifted and the old man screamed and collapsed--it was his only grandson. The reporter was shocked and aghast--very professional--but you could tell--and he knew--call it what you will, this is full fledged war going on in Mexico--Juarez the epi-center, and, it's--45 minutes from where I live.

[A friend] is very knowledgeable on things Arabic, and, he was shown some of the litter out in the deserts that "immigrants" walk to come here illegally. He told the police that one the items was a Turkish prayer rug--he recognized the design. Arabs are crossing illegally into this country thru our deserts.

The Western states bordering Mexico are being invaded, over-run, kidnapped and terrorized by illegal aliens--dangerous roving gangs--Phoenix is actually the kidnap capital of the USA. Decent, law-abiding, tax paying, property owning Americans are having hordes of armed Mexicans come across their property, and, face punishment and loss of their lands if they protest or draw weapons. Believe it or not, we've had armed Mexican soliders come across our border--ARMED and IN UNIFORM--on American soil--coming over to have breakfast or lunch at one of the restaurants here. To have Washington be so "out of touch"--supremely unconcerned, mocking actually--that this is happening to a section of this nation--is national suicide.

Dingy Dem California Congressman Pete Stark Asks Minuteman, "Who Are You Going To Kill Today?"

Once again obnoxious, arrogant libtard Rep. Pete Stark, D-CA, has forgotten that he is supposed to be working for us, not the other way round and has taken to insulting his consituents again. FOX has the video as well as the rest of the story.

Rep. Stark Mocks Border Security Advocates: Who Are You Going to Kill Today?

A California congressman known for edgy sarcasm mocked an opponent of illegal immigration during a town hall meeting last week, asking, "Who are you going to kill today?" before the constituent, a self-identified Minuteman, posed his question.

Rep. Pete Stark, D-Calif., no stranger to controversy, mocked the idea that the borders are not secure when asked about the federal government's lack of activity on border security.

"We can't get enough Minutemen armed. We'd like to get all the Minutemen armed so they can stop shooting people here," Stark said.

Eventually, members of the audience urged Stark to offer a serious answer.

"If you knew anything about our borders, you would know that's not the case. Our borders are quite secure, thank you," Stark said, drawing jeers.

Stark resumed his hostile act, asking the Minuteman what he would do to secure the border.

"I would send about about 25,000 troops for one thing and build a wall down so vehicles could not pass," the Minuteman said.

"How high and long would it be?" Stark asked.

"As high and as long as it takes," the Minuteman said, elicting cheers.

Stark said he would start a ladder company with the Minuteman if he designed the wall and doesn't shoot the people coming over.

"But I've got to know how high the wall is and I'll sell a whole lot of ladders for people who want to come," Stark said.

"This is a very serious matter and you're sitting there making fun of it," the Minuteman responded.

"I don't have to make fun of you sir, you do a fine job all by yourself," Stark said.

Stark made the comment last week at a town hall audience that included Steve Kemp, a member of the Golden State Minutemen, a group that opposes illegal immigrants. Kemp recorded the confrontation.

The clash came as the national spotlight focuses on Arizona's tough new law cracking down on illegal immigrants and the protests it is drawing across the country, including a legal challenge from the federal government.

Immigration is shaping up to be among the critical election-year issues as Republicans try to regain control of both chambers in Congress riding a wave of anti-Washington sentiment.

Stark, a liberal Democrat, is expected to easily win re-election against a lightly regarded opponent, political newcomer Justin Jelincic, who describes himself as a conservative Democrat.
