Muslim woman from Morrocco escapes arranged marriage and becomes martial arts fighter

Via Big Peace, here's a very inspiring story, about Iman Achhal, a woman from a Muslim family in Morrocco who was going to be sold into an arranged marriage - yes, for the money - and was lucky to flee to the USA where she first worked in a firefighting department, and then became a fitness and martial arts instructor. An ideal career for plenty of women, in fact.

Update: here's an article about her on the Wash. Post too.

Muslim Brotherhood on Peace in the ME: "Give us weapons and we'll kill all the Jews."

Islamic Peace, you see.

Haaretz, no less:

Will Egypt be too busy to hate?

It is naive to think that Egyptians - or, as polls indicate, the Arab world writ large - will ever accept the presence of a Jewish state in their midst.

So chanted several hundred people outside the Israeli Embassy in Cairo last Friday. The proximate cause of the protest was the conflagration in Sinai, following the terror raid near Eilat. But no specific incident is ever needed to stir the Egyptian masses to express hatred for their Jewish neighbors.

Maybe DIck Cheney should convert and run for PM in Israel.

I think he would recommend a decisive course of action.

A reckoning.

Afghan Editor Condemns the Custom of Dancing Boys, Says: '[Boys] of Ages 15 to 20 are Normally Dressed in Women's Clothes, Dancing All the Night, Then Abused by Several Men'.

I see a Fatwa coming down on this "Editor". After all, the tradition of "Dancing Boys" is from the Koran itself.

From Will at The Other News:
In a recent report, senior Afghan journalist Musa Khan Jalalzai drew attention to the custom of Afghan dancing boys and their sexual exploitation by powerful and wealthy warlords in the country.

The report notes that the custom has become a status symbol in Afghanistan."A shameless business of teenage rape or Bacha-bazi has brought disgrace and shame to Afghan society. The tradition of teenage rape is an old tradition in northern and southern provinces. The tradition has roots in Afghan history. President Hamid Karzai, in his recent statement, warned that rapists should face 'the country's most severe punishment. "

The interior ministry has failed to arrest powerful rapist warlords in northern Afghanistan, as the police administration has long been involved in many illegal businesses like drug trafficking, prostitution, and playboys.

Corruption in the Afghan justice system is another problem. Courts are helpless before war criminals. Judges are the most corrupt people, who bail out or release criminals and receive millions in Afghan currency."Local residents now have demanded for a crackdown against these elements, but are skeptical because criminals are powerful and well-armed.

War criminals have representation in Afghan parliament and in government institutions. Why did this illegal business take deep roots after the fall of the Taliban regime in 2001? Afghan men of letters understand that both unemployment and poverty are the main motivators for the revival of the business of Bacha-bazi in Afghanistan. Recruitment of young and beardless beautiful boys is in progress."

Powerful and wealthy warlords in northern Afghanistan, according to press reports, recruit young boys for sex and dance, while local authorities remain powerless in stopping the practice. Bacha-bereesh [boys] of ages 15-20 are normally dressed in women's clothes, dancing all the night, then abused by several men."

"This is an established fact that a boy without beard and [is] smart normally becomes a status symbol for his master. Mohammad Zaher Zafari, head of the Northern Branch of the Afghan Independent Human Rights Commission, hopelessly said: 'Sexual abuse and even the sale of boys has been going on for years; the boys involved are usually poor, underage or orphans, and they are forced into it by their economic circumstances."Another senior official, Hafizullah Khaliqyar, head of the prosecutor's office for Baghlan province, complains that teenage boys are forced to dance.

'They are sexually abused, and they are even bought and sold. Fights take place over these Bacha-bereesh. It's increasing day by day, and it's catastrophic,' he said.""A local Afghan reporter, Sayed Yaqub Ibrahimi, recently interviewed some warlords saying that they play with dogs, boys, and love teenage girls.

'Some men enjoy playing with dogs, some with women. I enjoy playing with boys,' warlord Allah Daad told Ibrahimi. After the fall of the Taliban regime in 2001, Bacha-bazi increased tremendously and is still on the rise."

In the past, Afghans were ashamed of it and trying to hide it, but nowadays, nobody feels shame and they openly enjoy this shameless business. Religious scholars condemn the custom, which they count as one of the most sinful acts possible.

Afghan ulema [Islamic scholars] are of the opinion that making boys dance and sexually abusing them is not allowed in Islam.

Maulana Ghulam Rabbani of Takhar province understands that those involved in it need to be punished."Local officials in northern provinces of Afghanistan admit the practice is prevalent but show no specific interest to intercept it. The authorities are in much dismay about the police officers' involvement in this business. Members of Afghan police in various provinces are deeply involved in male prostitution.

The interior ministry in Kabul has received thousands of complaints from locals regarding the police sexual attacks on young boys.""Keeping in view their sexual needs, in December 2010, WikiLeaks cables reported [that] U.S. company DynCorp had spent money on pimps who purchased young boys for Afghan policemen. The boys were used in Bacha-bazi. This shameless practice has also prompted the Defense Department of the United States to hire a social scientist, Anna Maria, to investigate the problem, as several U.S. soldiers on patrol often passed older men walking hand-in-hand with pretty young boys."

Reuters, in its November 19, 2007 report and Revolutionary Association of Women in Afghanistan [RAWA], quoted a 42-year-old landowner, Inayatullah, of Baghlan province as saying, 'Having a boy has become a custom for us. Whoever wants to show off should have a boy.' In his short interview with Reuter's reporter, Mr. Inayatullah vowed: 'I was married to a woman 20 years ago; she left me because of my boy,' he said. 'I was playing with my boy every night and was away from home. Eventually my wife decided to leave me. I am happy with my decision, because I am used to sleeping and entertaining with my young boy,' he told Reuters.

"A recent U.S. State Department report assessed the situation bluntly, saying that it amounts to a 'widespread, culturally sanctioned form of male rape.' The majority of Afghans have no knowledge of their country's law about male prostitution. All kinds of prostitution are illegal under the Afghan law. In Afghan society, the victims of rape and assault – both male and female – are sometimes persecuted rather than the criminals who abuse them.

"There are thousands of young boys who have undergone ordeals. But the actual numbers of these vulnerable boys are not known. In Kabul, Kandahar, Mazar-e-Sharif, Kunduz, Takhar, Baghlan, Samangan, Panjshir, and Herat bazaars, Bacha-bazi CDs and DVDs are widely circulated serving an audience who can't afford the real thing."

Bacha Bazi (Persian: بچه بازی, literally "playing with children" in Iranian dialect and "playing with boys" in Afghani dialect), also known as bacchá (from the Persian bacheh بچه‌ "child, young man, calf") or bacha bereesh (beardless boy) is sexual slavery and child prostitution[1] in which prepubescent and adolescent boys are sold to wealthy or powerful men for entertainment and sexual activities.

YOUNG BOYS
Homosexuality was and is widely practised in Islamic conutries. To please the homosexuals among his followers he promised them pre-pubescent boys in Paradise. So after committing plunder, loot, rape and murder in this life, the followers of Islam get "rewarded" by untouched virginal youths who are fresh like pearls.
The relevant verses from the Koran are:
Koran 52:24
Round about them will serve, to them, boys (handsome) as pearls well-guarded.
Koran 56:17
Round about them will serve boys of perpetual freshness.
Koran 76:19
And round about them will serve boys of perpetual freshness: if thou seest them, thou wouldst think them scattered pearls.

As mentioned in my previous article, famous poets in Arabia glorified homosexuality. As an example I am including a poem in 'Perfumed Garden' by Abu Nuwas:
O the joy of sodomy!
So now be sodomites, you Arabs.
Turn not away from it--
therein is wondrous pleasure.
Take some coy lad with kiss-curls
twisting on his temple
and ride as he stands like some gazelle
standing to her mate.
A lad whom all can see girt with sword
and belt not like your whore who has
to go veiled.
Make for smooth-faced boys and do your
very best to mount them, for women are
the mounts of the devils

Need I say anything more after this colorful rendition by Abu Nuwas ?

Infidel Babe of the Week

Epaminondas had some idea about stealing the Pyramids from the Egyptians, relocating them to Vegas, and having Dita Von Teese dance around, for some unknown reason.

Frankly, I am not very clear on his idea, because once he got to the part about Dita Von Teese all the blood rushed from my head, and I could no longer think clearly.

Whatever the idea was, I'm sure it was brilliant.

Hunkering Down Here

1. Inverter (DC to AC) for the sump pump and the fridge? Check. An inverter is especially useful as it doesn't have to be ventilated as does a gasoline-fueled generator.

2. Some bottled water and plenty of canned goods, etc.? Check.

3. Prescription meds for Mr. AOW and for me? Check.

4. Cat food and kitty litter? Check.

5. Cell phones fully charged? Check.

6. Outdoor items secured? Check.

My biggest concern is downed power lines and downed phone lines. If Verizon goes down, I'll be incommunicado for about 10 days.

Thus far, Hurricane Irene doesn't look to be nearly as bad as Hurricane Isabel, which left us out of power and our main road blocked for three days here in the immediate DC area. Much worse for those in outlying area.

And one more thing....The local media coverage of Hurricane Irene has been in the scare-tactics range. Sheesh.

Yesterday, when the sun was shining and nary a drop of rain had fallen, 7 out of 8 drivers were speeding all over the place with their headlights on. Emergency mode! Go figure.

What a week! An earthquake on Tuesday and a hurricane on Saturday-Sunday.

I'm not sure if this degree of delusion is funny or tragic

First, Obama’s successes: The restoration of respect for America abroad.

Bob Shrum, Dem adviser, pundit, columnist, and several times national campaign manager

Abroad, Mr. Schrum we are ignored, not respected.

  • Respect is not evidenced by mean letters to Assad, and Khameinei, or Achmadinejad.
  • Respect is not evidenced by Chavez laughing while demanding his gold (from reserve banks in the west) and STILL exporting oil for cash to Uncle.
  • Respect is not Pakistan cutting off access to our bases there because they seem to be MORE penetrated by Deobandi freaks than in 2008.
  • Respect is not China SCOFFING (as cock and bull) at our official reports on their growing military electronic and missile, and naval advances.
  • Respect is not the Muslim Brotherhood telling our close allies they had better leave their embassy and go home or they will be SLAUGHTERED, while our other former ‘ally’ does nothing.
  • Respect is not a NATO member seeing more to gain in a close relationship with Iran than the USA and NATO
  • Respect is not Russia’s strong man telling the world the people of the USA are ‘parasites’, and laughing about it
  • Respect is not the VP of the USA ‘upholding’ our ideals by commenting ‘he understands’ China’s one child law when asked about his feelings on that IN PUBLIC BY A REPORTER IN CHINA
  • Respect is not GE moving its headquarters to CHINA
  • Respect is not Finland REJECTING NATO membership
  • Respect is not the rest of the world watching while long term unemployment in the USA is WORSE than the Great Depression and our leadership remains CLUELESS in a clear and obvious fashion ON MARTHA’S VINEYARD.

Do I really have to make the list longer, or is what comes to mind in about 45 seconds enough for you, Shrum?

Barack Obama, has passed Carter on crack, and is headed at full speed for Jamaes Buchanan, and he has 18 months to go.

Barack Obama will be the WORST president in the history of the USA. I will not be alive when (and IF) the damage this man has done, is repaired.

Then She Did

Now her paints are dry...
And I looked outside...
At the corner boys...

Ayh, oh, where did you go?
I don't know.

I went to see your pictures...
I spread them across the floor...
So this is where they are shown...
Now they're probably saying to you,
If you keep it up you'll be born.

But you won't ever listen,
I'll bet...

Burnt out, grass scorched by the sun.
The buildings remain.

We will beat them all to dust,
I'll bet...

Pulled from a headless shell
That blinked on and off, Hotel.
Now the nameless dwell.

They hold your key and turn your knob,
I'll bet...

Will you say hello to my ma?
Will you pay a visit to her?
She was an artist, just as you were.
I'd have introduced you to her.

She would take me out on Sundays.
We'd go laughing through the garbage.
She repaired legs like a doctor
On the kitchen chairs we sat on.

She was unhappy, just as you were.
Unhappy, just as you were.
Unhappy, just as you were.
Unhappy, just as you were...

Left And Right Going Nuclear On Rick Perry

Means he's the right candidate.

From IBD:

When you hear every single liberal media outlet in the country say, "We will know more about Rick Perry after we vet his 11 years in office," you need to understand that what they vindictively mean is: "President Obama and his followers will be proud of us after we are done with the mother of all smearing campaigns against the conservative governor of Texas."

Not since Ronald Reagan has a Republican candidate for president evoked such outright fear and loathing from the mainstream media and the far-left.

They are flat-out petrified of Perry and are desperately trying to kill off his candidacy before it can take hold. Why?

Simple. As they suspiciously heap praise on the likes of Jon Huntsman and even Mitt Romney, they increasingly worry that Perry has the best chance to defeat their handpicked socialist messiah now occupying the Oval Office.

What Happened To The Sphinx' Nose?

What do you think happened to the Sphinx' nose? I mean, why would we Infidels bring it up?
The one-metre-wide nose on the face is missing. Examination of the Sphinx's face shows that long rods or chisels were hammered into the nose, one down from the bridge and one beneath the nostril, then used to pry the nose off towards the south.
The Egyptian Arab historian al-Maqrīzī, writing in the 15th century AD, attributes the loss of the nose to iconoclasm by Muhammad Sa'im al-Dahr, a Sufi Muslim from the khanqah of Sa'id al-Su'ada. In AD 1378, upon finding the Egyptian peasants making offerings to the Sphinx in the hope of increasing their harvest, Sa'im al-Dahr was so outraged that he destroyed the nose, and was hanged for vandalism. Al-Maqrīzī describes the Sphinx as the "talisman of the Nile" on which the locals believed the flood cycle depended.
A story claims that the nose was broken off by a cannonball fired by Napoleon's soldiers and that legend still lives on today. Other variants indict British troops, the Mamluks, and others. However, sketches of the Sphinx by the Dane Frederic Louis Norden, made in 1737 and published in 1755, illustrate the Sphinx already without a nose.
Chances are 99.99 that muslims did it.

From Jihad Watch:
The things that we were assured won't, can't, or ought not to happen after the Egyptian revolution are happening. Egypt's economy will suffer, leading to widespread discontent and potential political unrest. Good thing there's always Israel to blame. "Egypt’s Brotherhood declares war on the bikini," from All Headline News, August 25:
Sunbathing in Alexandria may soon be a thing of the past, at least if some Egyptian Islamist politicians have their way.
Egypt's tourism industry has suffered a severe blow since the outburst of anti-regime demonstrations in January. But that did not stop the Freedom and Justice Party, the political wing of the Muslim Brotherhood, from demanding stricter regulations over what tourists can do and wear while visiting the country. The party is urging officials to ban skimpy swimwear and the consumption of alcohol on Egyptian streets.
Freedom and Justice: you are free to obey Sharia, which will be given a monopoly on the definition of "justice."
"Beach tourism must take the values and norms of our society into account," Muhammad Saad Al-Katatny, secretary-general of Freedom and Justice, told Egyptian tourism officials on Monday. "We must place regulations on tourists wishing to visit Egypt, which we will announce in advance."
The call for new strictures on tourists comes as Egypt debates the role of Islam in the post-Mubarak era. Freedom and Justice is competing in elections scheduled for this autumn for parliament and opinion polls show a majority of Egyptians favor a greater use of Islamic law and mores. But a vocal minority worries that Egypt risks becoming an Islamic republic.
But the Obama administration's director of national intelligence said the Brotherhood was "largely secular."
"This is how things began in Iran," Hani Henry, a psychology professor at the American University in Cairo, told The Media Line. "The moderate youth wanted to implement changes, but the mullah's hijacked the revolution. The same thing is now happening here in Egypt with the Muslim Brotherhood. It makes me sick to my stomach."

The Obama administration has repeatedly bypassed federal law by allowing nearly all the oil to move on foreign-owned vessels

From Will at The Other News:
In its hurry to transport millions of barrels of oil from federal stockpiles to stabilize world oil prices earlier this summer, the Obama administration has repeatedly bypassed federal law by allowing nearly all the oil to move on foreign-owned vessels, drawing protests from domestic maritime operators.

The domestic ship owners say that 46 times the administration has waived the Jones Act, a 90-year-old law requiring purely domestic cargo to move on United States-flagged ships except under extraordinary circumstances. Only once this summer has oil from the reserve moved on American barges.

Even as unemployment hovered over 9 percent, the administration approved dozens of applications to transport nearly 30 million barrels of domestic crude oil within the borders of the United States on tankers employing foreign crews and flying the flags of the Marshall Islands, Panama and other countries.

The move, which saved time and money for the oil companies that bought the oil, took potential work from more than 30 American cargo vessels and as many as 400 sailors, American ship owners said in recent days.

“This has literally flabbergasted the American maritime industry,” said Christopher Coakley, vice president for legislative affairs at the American Waterways Operators, an association of domestic ship and barge operators.

The idea was to create American jobs and help the economy. But all the profit from the sale of the oil has gone to traders and oil companies and all the profit from movement of the oil has gone to foreign shippers and crewmen, and that’s galling.”

In late June, the Obama administration, acting in concert with the 27 nations of the International Energy Agency, released the oil from the Department of Energy’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve to make up some of the shortfall caused by the conflict in Libya.

The administration said it wanted to get the oil to market quickly to lower prices and ensure supplies for the summer travel season. To meet that goal, it set very short deadlines for transporting the crude. To waive the Jones Act, the president must find that there is a national security emergency and that domestic carriers are not available in a timely manner.

The cutoff of oil from Libya and a lack of large-capacity American tankers provided the legal rationale for circumventing the law. Representative Peter T. King, the New York Republican who is chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, said that it appeared that the administration had met the formal requirements for waiving the Jones Act, but he questioned the political and economic wisdom of doing so.

“The spirit of the law is when possible, use a U.S. vessel, especially in tough economic times,” Mr. King said. “I think it has to hurt the American economy, hurt the maritime industry and affect American jobs.Mr. King said, “I don’t see this as a partisan issue. But I would think a Democratic administration would be making some effort to help American workers.””
If he really wanted to destroy America would he do anything different?Buddies with the Unions then stab them in the back?

Obama Steering The Country Downward

As U.S. initial jobless claims rise unexpectedly, Hurricane Irene is headed for New York City. Meanwhile business is so bad at Martha’s Vineyard that people are having “textured” feelings about President Obama.

This week, with the jobless rate stuck above 9 percent and the president’s nationwide approval rating at its lowest level, the Vineyard’s broad allegiance shows cracks, leaving some islanders with a more textured, even tormented feeling about the president.
“I just have to say I feel really uncomfortable, because I love loving him,’’ said Leslie Pearlson, a real estate broker on the island …
At the core of islanders’ misgivings is the shaky local economy. Although the Vineyard is sometimes depicted as a playground for the rich and famous, the numbers tell another side of the story.
Empty storefronts dot main streets in Vineyard Haven, Edgartown, and elsewhere. According to the island’s Chamber of Commerce, at least one member of nearly every Vineyard household is dependent on summer business, which softened during the recession and still has not recovered.
If the playground for the rich and famous is feeling a little like Tobacco Road, it has plenty of company. For some reason nothing seems to work. The Washington Monument is cracked, and it seems portentous. A survey done by Pew reports 79% of the population believe the country is headed in the wrong direction. A Gallup poll taken over the same period concludes 88% of the population are dissatisfied with the state of affairs. Reuters has 73% of those polled believing the same things.

Like the Joker said, “why so serious?” Richard Posner believes the underlying reason is that America is in a Depression, stuck in a place where the only way forward is down. People aren’t recovering. They’re doomed and most of them know it, hence the polls.

So.... Yeah... The New Smear Is That Rick Perry Is a Dhimmi, Huh?

I can't wait until this guy is President

From Ace:

Pam Gellar, relying on a hot tip from, um, Salon, thinks Rick Perry's a dhimmi.
Salon wrote:
Perry is a friend of the Aga Khan, the religious leader of the Ismailis, a sect of Shia Islam that claims a reported 15 to 20 million adherents worldwide. Sprouting from that friendship are at least two cooperation agreements between the state of Texas and Ismaili institutions, including a far-reaching program to educate Texas schoolchildren about Islam. That’s a partnership that has already prompted a bit of grumbling in far-right corners of the blogosphere and could conceivably become a primary issue if, as expected, Perry enters the presidential race.
Gellar echoes:
Perry has been sucked into the propaganda vortex, and is now wielding his enormous power to influence changes in the schoolrooms and in the curricula to reflect a sharia compliant version of Islam. He is a friend of the Aga Khan, the multimillionaire head of the Ismailis, a Shi’ite sect of Islam that today proclaims its nonviolence but in ages past was the sect that gave rise to the Assassins.
Oh I like that just fine. In the 1100's, this sect gave rise to the Assassins, so... yeah. Watch out. They've had 900 years to get even more bad-ass.
Perry has concluded at least two cooperation agreements between the state of Texas and the Ismailis, including a comprehensive program to feed children in Texas public schools and taqiyya nonsense about how Islam is a religion of peace.
So... what of it?
I am about to direct you to what I think might just be the greatest rejoinder in the history of blogdom.
Now, because I have an ego, and don't want to fully admit how good this is, better than I've ever managed, I will console myself with the notion that he has the facts on his side, and ergo, is almost cheating.
I strongly, strongly urge you to read this. Now, if it seems long, skip to the part of it -- the last half -- wherein the actual curriculum used to teach Texas students about Islam is presented.
I know what you're thinking. Shit, I thought so too. Religion of Peace. We must stop attacking them. Israel is mean.
Oh no. Oh no no no.
The "dhimmi" curriculum that was actually produced by Texas teachers consulting with Aga Khan is...
...Well, I don't want to get your expectations up, because once expectations are raised, they can never be met, can they?
But actually reading this curriculum (which I trust Ms. Geller did not), my honest reaction? My real reaction reading it?
This is going to hurt Perry, because this is so biased against Muslims it will reinforce perceptions he is some kind of rootin'-tootin' six-gun shooting cowboy yahoo.
Okay, I've raised your expectations. But you read it yourself. Read what the Aga Khan (and his apparently really non-violent fellow Muslim moderates) worked out with Texas teachers to inform kids about Islam.

And then you tell me Perry's a "dhimmi."
(START OF EXCERPTS) Because Islamic society is in a different state of development than Western society, conflicts naturally arise.
1. Countries of Western Civilization have secular governments, which means great toleration of cultural and religious differences.
What? Did he just praise the West?
2. Countries of Islamic Civilization for the most part either have religiously dominated governments or demands to make them more religious, which mean less toleration of cultural and religious differences.
Wait, didn't he just knock Islam?
3. Muslims often lack respect for Western traditions and points of view. The Muslim relationship to the West is colored by the belief that Western beliefs [whether Christian or atheist] are defective and therefore inferior to Islam.
Did he just say Muslims lack respect for Western traditions?
From its early days, Islam reacted aggressively toward its civilized neighbors the Byzantines and the West. Muslim attacks against the West can be viewed as occurring in three waves...
Wait, what?
Modernity developed in the West and made the West so powerful that any civilization that did not imitate the West in this regard was at a extreme disadvantage. Modernism featured three characteristics: 1. High levels of technology, integrated into society, along with modern science.
2. The creation of much wealth, which, with technology, makes the state more powerful militarily.
3. An openness (in its most developed form called the Open Society by Karl Popper), which features tolerance, pluralism, and has a secular governance.
The failure of Islam to adopt modern ways and adapt them to Islamic values, put Islam at a great disadvantage when dealing with the West.
Anyone feeling the attitude of dhimmitude yet?

Go read the rest at Ace of Spades. There's more. Much more.

The coup de gras:

Gellar's attacking this?
This reads like her fucking blog for fuck's sake.
"Anti-Jihadism" cannot simply degenerate into a guilt by association lunacy where the only real "goods" you have on someone is that they seem to know Muslims.

Both Martin Wisse and the Atlantic blow it

A left-wing writer named Martin Wisse has attacked another writer for the Atlantic, because she wouldn't include any works by the anti-Israel cartoonist Joe Sacco in her listing of 10 best examples of graphic nonfiction. But then, she herself is blowing it by answering that her reason why:
You guys are right–I almost included Footnotes in Gaza but chickened out at the last moment because the topic is so polarizing. I was already expecting heat from rank-and-file fanboys/girls about the overall list and didn’t want to brave the Palestine question as well.
So in response to anyone who criticized her for not including the disgraceful Sacco, she only signaled that she's not much better. Instead of answering that she didn't bother because she feels his work is propagadistic and offensive, she just had to offer that weak response.

Wisse's reply to this was:
That’s what you call self censorship. It’s not just that Joe Sacco is one of the best and most influential non-fiction cartoonists around, somebody who should not be left off any such top ten list, but as opposed to the majority of people on The Atlantic’s list, he has actually done comics journalism.
Yawn. Such crap.

Canada - Canadian Author dragged into woods and beaten by Muslim extremists

From Will at The Other News:
Author Paris Dipersico has been discharged from Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital after he was dragged into a forest and beaten unconscious by two male assailants Wednesday morning. Police said the victim’s hands were bound and Det. Sgt. Anthony Odoardi said they are confident the attack was targeted due to the controversial nature of his book Wake Up Call.

Co-author Gabrielle Dipersico’s home was broken into just a day after the assault and they have received death threats by Muslim extremists for insulting Islam. The Police are currently conducting an investigation along with a safety plan for the authors.

Wake Up Call has angered several religious groups, family members and it was rejected by over a dozen publishers for being "extremely controversial" and "inflammatory."

Truth is, this book looks pretty funny. This guy may be even more obnoxious than yours truly. LOL

Check out what Amazon has to say about Wake Up Call:

"I'm Paris Dipersico and I'm a narcissistic sociopath whose ego is bigger than Kim Kardashian's ass. Boundaries, Respect, Values, and a Conscience...I Lack. I say obnoxious things about fugly creatures " Wake Up Call is a story of a young boy becoming a bold character, a soul searching for identity, and of a man weaving a rich heritage while finding a place for himself in today's world. It begins with the awkwardness of adolescence, of him trying different addictions and exploiting different sexuality to see where he fits in. "I believe everything is okay, when done in moderation." He says. However, moderation is the track he's far away from.
His views and opinions stir up trouble and leave local ideas and morals shaken. Religion, a stigma, something people are afraid to discuss is what the writer has dared to take up and thrashed it down. It brings up issues we all have at one point in time. Although being brought up in a Muslim household, yet he questions the very existence of God and says: "Islam is a religion of 'peace' and Muslims will kill you to prove it."

"I urged Bush to bomb Syria’s nuclear reactor in 2007, but he refused”

Dick Cheney, UNRE-FUCKING-PENTENT.

“I again made the case for U.S. military action against the reactor,” the New York Times quoted Cheney as writing about a meeting on the issue. “But I was a lone voice. After I finished, the president asked, ‘Does anyone here agree with the vice president?’ Not a single hand went up around the room.”

Fabulous

In the brief portions leaked we can see one thing you could feel every day from 2004-6, BUSH CRAWFISHED IN TERM 2, and he is STILL a vastly superior prez than the present apologist occupant at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

And a DISGUSTING REVELATION, Colin Powell KNEW injustice was being done over the Valery Plame/ Libby leak (it was his deputy Armitage who leaked the info) and he did NOTHING.

And so Obama called Buffet who then bought $5B in BofA, and now....

Following reports that President Obama phoned Warren Buffett from vacation in Martha’s Vineyard to discuss the economy, The “Oracle of Omaha” is hosting a fund-raiser for Obama’s re-election, billed as an “economic forum,” Page Six has learned. Tickets for the event at New York’s Four Seasons restaurant on Sept. 30 start at $10,000 a head, with VIP tickets a budget-boosting $35,800.

Now, this is not the first such symbiotic/parasitic govt corp cooperation in this administration.

We have GE, whose $3.2B refund, and appointment of Immelt to head his board of economic advisers, made a joke out of ‘fair share’, and ‘closing loopholes’ as anything but a gathering of partisan words bereft of connection to the objective world.

We have Comcast/NBC/MSNBC where Obama spent dinner on the Vineyard the other day.

We have the ‘new politics’ of Goldman execs coming and going in the admin.

But this kind of cooperation has history in HISTORY, as a road to benefits, and a shortcut to profit without the risk of competition, and free enterprise and all it’s ‘inefficiencies’

Now I am not making comparisons of type in govt., or in personality or leadership But I am making them in kinf and quality of corruption. Big business and govt cooperating WILL END IN CORRUPTIONS TO THE SYSTEM AS WELL AS THE PEOPLE.

I am CERTAIN that Buffet et al don’t even see anything wrong, and he probably thinks of this act as patriotic.

It is not, though.

Govt and BIG BUSINESS corrupt each other for mutual amoral purposes.

FAUX PROFIT AND ILLEGALLY OBTAINED POWER.

John Malcolm calls from the grave.
