London to Langley: The roots of Obamagate become clearer

From the American Spectator:
Even before the first Republican primary, a London-to-Langley spy ring had begun to form against Donald Trump. British spies sent to CIA director John Brennan in late 2015 alleged intelligence on contacts between Trumpworld and the Russians, according to the Guardian.
Here’s the crucial paragraph in the story: GCHQ first became aware in late 2015 of suspicious “interactions” between figures connected to Trump and known or suspected Russian agents, a source close to UK intelligence said.
This intelligence was passed to the US as part of a routine exchange of information, they added.
Notice it doesn’t say the “Trump campaign” but “figures connected to Trump.” One of those figures was Michael Flynn, who didn’t join the campaign until February 2016. But Brennan and British intelligence had already started spying on him, drawing upon sham intelligence from Stefan Halper, a long-in-the-tooth CIA asset teaching at Cambridge University whom Brennan and Jim Comey would later send to infiltrate the Trump campaign’s ranks.
It appears that Halper had won Brennan’s confidence with a false report about Flynn in 2014 — a reported sighting of Flynn at Cambridge University talking too cozily with a Russian historian. Halper had passed this absurdly simpleminded tattle to a British spy who in turn gave it to Brennan, as one can deduce from this euphemistic account in the New York Times about Halper as the “informant”:
The informant also had contacts with Mr. Flynn, the retired Army general who was Mr. Trump’s first national security adviser. The two met in February 2014, when Mr. Flynn was running the Defense Intelligence Agency and attended the Cambridge Intelligence Seminar, an academic forum for former spies and researchers that meets a few times a year.
According to people familiar with Mr. Flynn’s visit to the intelligence seminar, the source was alarmed by the general’s apparent closeness with a Russian woman who was also in attendance. The concern was strong enough that it prompted another person to pass on a warning to the American authorities that Mr. Flynn could be compromised by Russian intelligence, according to two people familiar with the matter [italics added].
Again, that’s early 2014 and a file on Flynn is already sitting on Brennan’s desk.

IED Explodes in Toronto Indian Restaurant; 15 Wounded, Suspects Still at Large

IED Explodes in Toronto Indian Restaurant; 15 Wounded, Suspects Still at Large
TORONTO (AP) — An explosion caused by “improvised explosive device” ripped through an Indian restaurant in a mall in the Toronto suburb of Mississauga, wounding 15 people, Canadian police said.
Peel Region Sgt. Matt Bertram said two suspects with their faces covered to conceal their identity entered the Bombay Bhel restaurant, and dropped some sort of IED device and fled.
“We have no indication to call it a hate crime or any kind of terrorism act,” Bertram said. Peel Region paramedic Joe Korstanje said three people suffered critical injuries and were taken to the hospital while the remaining 12 victims suffered what he described as minor and superficial injuries.
The explosion happened just after 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, and the plaza where the restaurant is located was still sealed off on Friday.
“Nothing was said by these individuals,” Bertram said. “It appears they just went in, dropped off this device, and took off right away.”

SARA CARTER: FBI Agent at Mike Flynn Interrogation Ready to Testify in Defense of Flynn

From Sara Carter:
Investigative reporter, Sara Carter says Pientka, if issued a subpoena, will discuss how forthcoming Flynn was about very specific sensitive information that Flynn could not have possibly known the investigators already knew, which may give additional insight into Flynn’s veracity and willingness to tell the truth.
Investigative reporter Sara Carter On Friday May 11, 2018, Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) sent a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray and Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein stating Comey testified the FBI didn’t think General Flynn lied.
Grassley also revealed Joe Pientka was the second FBI agent who joined Peter Strzok on January 24th, 2017 in an ambush style interview to take down General Flynn.
Grassley demanded the FBI and DOJ produce the transcript of Flynn’s intercepted calls with Russian Ambassador Kislyak and the related 302’s by May 25th. (302’s are reports FBI agents take to summarize an interview with a subject.)
The recently unredacted portion of the House Intel report revealed Comey testified to House Intel members the FBI agents who ambushed Flynn did not detect any deception.
The report also revealed the illegal leak of Flynn’s phone call with Kislyak is what allowed the FBI/DOJ to keep a counterintel operation open on General Flynn.
Sara Carter says Special Agent Joe Pientka is ready to testify if issued a subpoena.

I FUCKED UP - IGNORE POST - Investigators Say, Missile that downed Malaysian AirlinesMH17 plane came from Russian military

"It Was The Russians"

Ok, so let me get this straight: The pilot was taking evasive maneuvers to avoid radar detection, AND  a "Russian Brigade" shot the Passenger Jet down over the Ukraine.

In the past, they have said the plane went down in the Andaman Sea, or the Indian Ocean.

Now it was over Ukraine.

From AFP:
Investigators probing the 2014 downing of flight MH17 said Thursday, for the first time, that the missile which brought down the plane over eastern Ukraine came from a Russian military brigade.
The Joint Investigation Team "has come to the conclusion that the BUK-TELAR that shot down MH17 came from 53rd Anti-aircraft Missile Brigade based in Kursk in Russia," top Dutch investigator Wilbert Paulissen said. He told reporters gathered for a press conference that "the 53rd Brigade forms part of the Russian armed forces."
The Malaysian Airlines flight on a Boeing 777 was blown out of the sky over conflict-torn eastern Ukraine on July 17, 2014 while en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur. All 298 passengers and crew, most of them Dutch, were killed in the disaster.
In all there were 17 nationalities on board including Australians, Britons, Malaysians and Indonesians.
The investigators had previously concluded that the plane was hit by a Russian-made BUK missile system brought in from Russia and fired from territory in Ukraine held by Moscow-backed rebels. But they had stopped short of directly saying who pulled the trigger.
Now the team has painstakingly recreated the route taken by the missile convoy from Kursk towards the border into Ukraine using videos and photos.
Ukranian President Petro Poroshenko said there is "every reason to expect that in the near future the Dutch prosecutor's office will be able to file a prosecution against the individuals involved in shooting down the plane."
"Evil will be punished and justice will be restored," he said.
Donald Trump and his secret collusion task force probably had something to do with it too.

Alrighty, then.

Spygate! Trump Brands the Criminal Deep State Scandal of a Lifetime

Limbaugh: Spygate! PDT Brands the Criminal Deep State Scandal of a Lifetime
RUSH: Well, now Donald Trump’s really done it. Now he has really done it. Now he’s referring to them as the “criminal deep state.” The Drive-By Media has the vapors. They can’t believe this. And James Comey is tweeting. And James Comey is admitting that the FBI used spies on Donald Trump. He calls them confidential human sources. Ha-ha. Plural. Great to have you, folks.
President Trump’s Spygate could be one of the biggest political scandals in history. And, with that, Trump has given the scandal a name: Spygate. And then listen to this next tweet. This could be the poster and the slug line for the movie: “They go after Phony Collusion with Russia, a made up Scam, and end up getting caught in a major SPY scandal the likes of which this country may never have seen before!”
Would that not get you into the theater, if that were the slug line for a movie? Referring to the deep state as the criminal deep state. Yeah.
It is amazing to watch this play out. James Clapper, you know, I’m beginning to wonder about something. It is obvious to me that Clapper and Comey and Brennan and a few others are sticking their necks way out to protect… who? Why, none other than Barack Hussein O. Meanwhile, where is Barack Hussein O? Well, he’s out there making gazillions of dollars. Barack Hussein O just signed a multi-eight-figure deal with Netflix with Michelle (My Belle) Obama. So while Obama’s out there raking in the dough, building a presidential library in the state of Illinois which is on the way to being abandoned — wait ’til you hear the news on that. I mean, we called this one last week. These guys are making absolute fools of themselves.
This guy Clapper is now lying all over the place. He’s on with Maude Behar yesterday on The View. And she says (imitating Behar and Clapper), “Okay. Okay. So you’re spying on the Trump campaign.” Clapper said, “Well, well, yeah, spying, yeah, I really don’t like that word. But we were not spying on Trump. We were looking for Russians.” And Maude Behar said, “Well, he ought to be happy, he ought to love you, you’re trying to help him out.” And Clapper says, “Yep, that’s right.”

The Art of the Deal: Trump America’s ‘negotiator-in-chief,’ what voters wanted ‘times 10’

From the Washington Examiner:
In a break from past administrations, President Trump is using brass knuckles to personally cut deals on trade, military burden sharing, diplomacy, domestic energy production and regulations that aides describe as unprecedented and propelling an economic boom.
In several detailed to Secrets, Trump has confronted world leaders in Oval Office meetings to demand better treatment and pushed his Cabinet secretaries to weigh decisions in favor of taxpayers, according to officials.
“Everything that the American people hoped for when they cast that ballot for change for a new kind of leadership in Washington, everything that they hoped they would get, I am telling you that they not only received it, but they’ve gotten it times 10,” said senior aide Stephen Miller.
“Donald Trump is the lobbyist for every had working American,” he said, eager to counter some bad press to describe Trump’s hands-on style.

Islamizing the Schools - The Case of West Virginia

Islamizing the Schools - The Case of West Virginia
This is an outrage, but it is common nationwide: the Daily Caller News Foundation reports that Mountain Ridge Middle School in West Virginia is "instructing junior high students to write the Islamic profession of faith ostensibly to practice calligraphy."
Students are made to write out the Shahada, which states: "There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah."
This is exactly what I warned about in my book, Stop the Islamization of America: A Practical Guide to the Resistance, in the chapter "The Mosqueing of the Public Schools."
In order to convert to Islam, one says the shahada. Saying the shahada makes you a Muslim. The shahada is what is on the black flag of jihad. No non-Muslim student should be forced to write or say the shahada without the qualifier "Muslims believe that..." This is because it is a statement of faith.
If the school exercise is requiring students to write it, it should be clear from the wording of the exercise that this is Islamic faith, not the student's faith. That distinction has been glossed over in many, many school textbook presentations. This is in West Virginia, not Baghdad. And it's a problem not just in West Virginia – it's a national problem.
Rich Penkoski, the father of a Mountain Ridge student, contacted me and explained the situation further. He sent me the packets the school gave out for the Jewish and the Christian lessons and commented:
Notice no bible verses, no reciting the 10 commandments or the Lord's prayer. No practicing writing in Hebrew (not even the 10 commandments) as compared to the Islamic packet. There are no statements of faith, nothing asking the students to write it or practice in any of the Jewish or Christian rituals.

Some House Republicans Call for Second Special Counsel, to Investigate How Hillary Was Exonerated, How Mueller Got Appointed, and How the FISA Warrants Were Handled

From Ace of Spades:
According to Fox News, the 12-page resolution is backed by Rep. Mark Meadows(R-NC), the chairman of the conservative House Freedom Caucus, as well as two of the group's co-founders -- Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), and Rep. Ron DeSantis ( R-FL). It will ask for a second special counsel to investigate matters related to three topics:
The ending of the investigation into Hillary Clinton's personal email server, the progress of the Trump-Russia investigation from its origins through the appointment of Robert Mueller as special counsel, and abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) during the warrant application process.
The resolution is expected to say that a second special counsel would have greater autonomy to investigate those issues than the Justice Department's Office of the Inspector General.

BREAKING: E-mails Show FBI Brass Discussed Dossier Briefing Details With CNN

From The Federalist:
Newly revealed e-mails show that former Federal Bureau Investigation (FBI) deputy director Andrew McCabe was keenly aware of CNN’s internal understanding of a secret briefing about the infamous Steele dossier, days before CNN published any stories on the matter.
The e-mails, which were obtained by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.), also reveal that top officials used coded language to refer to the salacious and unverified allegations made by Steele.
Former FBI director James Comey briefed then-President-Elect Donald Trump on January 6, 2017, on at least one unproven allegation contained in Steele’s dossier, which was jointly funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee.
CNN broke the story about the dossier briefing on January 10, 2017, touching off a firestorm of hysteria that culminated in not just the firing of Comey by Trump, but the eventual appointment of Department of Justice (DOJ) special counsel Robert Mueller.
Comey claimed that he was compelled to brief Trump on the dossier because “CNN had [it]” and was “looking for a news hook.”
Hours before Comey briefed Trump, FBI chief of staff James Rybicki e-mailed staff that Comey “is coming into HQ briefly now for an update from the sensitive matter team.”
Just as the same officials dubbed the Clinton e-mail investigation the “mid-year exam” and the anti-Trump counterintelligence investigation “Crossfire Hurricane,” they also used various phrases using “sensitive” to refer obliquely to the dossier.
Two days after the briefing, on January 8, 2017, former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe, who earlier this year was fired and then referred for criminal prosecution by the DOJ inspector general for repeatedly lying about media leaks, wrote an e-mail to top FBI officials with the subject, “Flood is coming.”
“CNN is close to going forward with the sensitive story,” McCabe wrote to Comey, Rybicki, and two others. “The trigger for them is they know the material was discussed in the brief and presented in an attachment.” He did not detail how he came to know what CNN’s “trigger” was for publishing the dossier briefing story.
Although the January 10 story from CNN also claimed that Trump was presented with a two-page summary of the dossier, which was not part of the official intelligence community assessment given to Trump, Comey himself later claimed that he did not give the two-page document to Trump, raising questions about whether McCabe himself was a source for CNN’s assertion that Trump had been given the entire two-page document during the briefing.
Shortly after sending his e-mail to Comey and other FBI officials, McCabe e-mailed then-Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates and her deputy, Matthew Axelrod. McCabe used the subject line “News” in his e-mail to the DOJ officials.
“Just as an FYI, and as expected,” McCabe wrote, “it seems CNN is close to running a story about the sensitive reporting.” It is not clear how McCabe came to be so familiar with CNN’s understanding of the dossier, its briefing, or how close CNN was to reporting on the matter.

BREAKING: DOJ Asks Watchdog To Investigate Obama-Era Actions Against Trump Campaign

The Department of Justice announced on Monday that it has asked its internal watchdog to expand its current investigate to include any irregular actions taken by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Department of Justice (DOJ) concerning their interactions with the Trump campaign.
"Based on the meeting with the President, the Department of Justice has asked the Inspector General to expand its current investigation to include any irregularities with the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s or the Department of Justice’s tactics concerning the Trump Campaign," the White House announced in a statement Monday.
"It was also agreed that White House Chief of Staff Kelly will immediately set up a meeting with the FBI, DOJ, and DNI together with Congressional Leaders to review highly classified and other information they have requested," the statement continued.
The actions taken by the DOJ come after President Donald Trump announced on Sunday that he was demanding action be taken to determine whether the DOJ and FBI improperly surveilled his campaign and whether any officials from the Obama administration were involved.

Comicsverse favors the Muslim Ms. Marvel, and takes a negative stance on WW film star Gal Gadot

I just found a most disturbing contrast on the far-left-leaning Comicsverse site, in regards to two subjects. One is an interview they did with a BBC representative, following up on film producer Kevin Feige's troubling comments, and they're gushing even worse than some other favoratists did:
BBC News: Kat Vendetti of ComicsVerse, which uses the high art of comics, as their website puts it, as a platform to discuss issues that promote positive social change told me first what she knows about the possible movie in the possible pipeline.

ComicsVerse: Kevin Feige from Marvel studios has said that she’s going to be appearing in a future movie. I think that’s the most logical trajectory, given how the movies have been going.

BBC News: And she already exists on paper as an identifiable character. As Ms. Marvel but also as Kamala Khan?

ComicsVerse: Yes, and she’s fairly new. She debuted, I think, in 2013. Since she made her premiere in the comics, she’s been hugely successful. Her series has made so many bestseller lists, has gotten so many reprints. She’s made animated appearances. So it was just a matter of time before she would make her big screen appearance as well.
Yep, keep up the comedy please. No sales figures, no nothing. Just a lot of hot air, bias and favoratism, is all. But what's telling besides that is the site rep's "I think", strongly hinting she's not as well-versed in the medium as the site's supposedly meant to be. The reason they may be pushing a character with an Islamic background into the movies has what to do with their horrid politics and belief it's better than anything else, and the quest to indoctrinate the audience into believing this is a valid form of culture.
BBC News: We’ll talk about the specific cultural implications in a moment, but I guess it’s fair to say that BLACK PANTHER was a monster hit, way beyond the African-American community, and therefore, this could be this could be a monster hit way beyond the Muslim American community.

ComicsVerse: You know, speaking to the success of Black Panther, it just shows how needed these movies are. I’m a white woman, so I’ve had plenty of characters myself that I can look up to with Wonder Woman and with Captain Marvel coming up, which isn’t a whole lot to say. Given my experiences watching Wonder Woman and the excitement I feel for the Captain Marvel film, I can only imagine how others might feel getting to know Kamala Khan in a MS. MARVEL movie.
Well from what I once learned, the Captain Marvel movie with Brie Larson may not have gotten a great behind-the-scenes reception as hoped, and so there's no telling if the finished product will either, seeing how it's already shown signs of being the first standout social justice-influenced movie in Marvel's stables.

And can she imagine what victims of Islamic terrorism anywhere in the world - including 9-11 Families for a Safe America - might feel whenever they learn the religion that led to the deaths of their beloveds is whitewashed and depicted in positive terms unquestioned? Doesn't look that way from what I'm reading. Comparing ideology to race/nationality is also very degrading.
BBC News: Do you think it’s a boost for Marvel’s intentions or maybe a slightly worrying element that there will be a lot of responsibility on the studio … on the filmmakers because there’s so much anxiety in the Muslim American community about discrimination. They need to see a positive role model.

ComicsVerse: I don’t know if I have much authority to speak on that a whole lot. What I can say is that when Kamala Khan first made her debut in the comics, there was a lot of backlash and criticism.

ComicsVerse: G. Willow Wilson, I think, has said before that she wasn’t sure what kind of success her character would have, but Kamala has been hugely successful for a variety of reasons. She’s incredibly relatable as a character. Anybody can see themselves in her.

ComicsVerse: The idea of the modern American hero is not Peter Parker or Captain America anymore. It’s a character like Kamala Khan. She’s more reflective of the experience that you can have as an American.
Ah, how fascinating. So Spidey and Cap aren't ideal US heroes any longer. Any particular reason? Most likely, it's political correctness and a disrespect for Kirby/Lee creations that, until recently, most commentators didn't even have the courage to admit they harbored. As for the Beeb, it's just like them to back up the victimology stance, and not admit the ideology itself is a negative example. Furthermore, what can anybody see in the Khan character the sales figures - which are down to around 13,000 by now - prove they're not?

The next example is their comments on Israeli-born Wonder Woman movie star Gal Gadot, asking if her winning a spot in Time's list of 100 most influential people is the right decision. It's not too difficult to guess they believe the answer is no, and their op-ed gets more irritating as it goes along:
This year’s TIME 100: Most Influential People of 2018 is a who’s who of progressive, feminist icons. The list includes #MeToo movement founder Tarana Burke; queer writer, producer, and actress Lena Waithe; West Virginia’s first female fire chief, Jan Rader; trans rights advocate and author Janet Mock, and many others.

On the other hand, the list also includes its fair share of conservative figureheads like Donald Trump, Attorney General Jeff Sessions, and conservative talk show host, Sean Hannity. The jarring combination ranges from every side of the political spectrum and places misogynists in the ranks of revolutionary social justice advocates.

Indeed, like 2018, the TIME 100 list is full of surprises. In the middle of these names, Wonder Woman inexplicably appears. Or, to be specific, the woman who plays her on the silver screen, Gal Gadot.

The inclusion is perplexing, not because Gadot isn’t influential, but rather because WONDER WOMAN is so 2017. Moreover, Gadot deserves only partial credit for bringing DC’s most recognizable female superhero to life. Director Patty Jenkins is largely to thank for the overwhelmingly female-centric focus of the film.

So, why didn’t Gadot or Jenkins make the list back in 2017? In fact, Patty Jenkins was one of the 2017 runners-up for TIME’s Person of the Year. Again, the question remains: Why Gal Gadot, and why now?
What kind of ambiguous query is that anyway? Is that supposed to mean the jerk who wrote this puff piece doesn't think Gadot deserves any credit? Why not equal credit with Jenkins, and why not "better late than never"? Something fishy there alright.
Gadot earned her stripes as a performer in the first WONDER WOMAN movie. Since then she joined forces with other heroes in the JUSTICE LEAGUE film. Naturally, Gadot is also slated to appear in the 2019 WONDER WOMAN 2. Among these accomplishments, Gadot also embodied Wonder Woman to help promote the character’s controversial position as an Honorary U.N. Ambassador for the Empowerment of Women and Girls.

Nonetheless, her appearance on the 2018 TIME: 100 list does not completely add up. Next to the numerous radical, queer, and/or people of color who made the list, the former Israeli Defense Forces member is a conservative choice. Next to the conservative, however, Gadot is a highly palatable icon of female strength. I suspect that Gal Gadot not only saved the DC universe as WONDER WOMAN, she strategically saves the TIME: 100 list as a politically-moderate choice for an influential female artist, however delayed the pick may seem.
And I can only guess - conservative choices are a crime, in the writer's view? Why do I also get the vibe they actually side with the UN on the issue of "controversy"? They do admit that "Gadot does live up to the praise", but soon fall back on more of the same shady commentaries:
Ultimately, why Gadot made the TIME 100 list might not really have much to do with Gadot at all, but rather what she symbolizes. Gadot is just progressive enough to appease progressives, and she’s just beauty queen/mother enough to please conservatives. For example, unlike Wonder Woman, Gadot is not queer, but she’s comfortable playing it on screen.
Umm, what absolute proof do they have that WW is lesbian per se? Or, better still, why does the buffoon consider being a beauty queen and a mom something that pleases only conservatives? That's a telling clue how what we have here is a hardcore progressive who thinks a woman being hot or a parent or both is garbage. But here's where it really begins to stink:
Her controversial support of Israeli nationalism is chalked up to “serving her country” (see Carter’s description). Moreover, Gadot’s real military experience makes her more credible as a feminist warrior princess because she is serving a traditionally male role. However, while she looks progressive for supporting Israeli women’s equality, her role directly harmed others, including women.

Mostly, however, American fans push Gadot’s involvement in Palestinian oppression aside. As a result, fans can believe that Gadot can kick ass in a mini-skirt and make it sexy, all while espousing moderately (white) feminist values. As delightful and palatable as Gadot is to most audiences, it is unclear if she deserved to be on this year’s list of the most influential people.
Ugh, ugh, UGH! So she buys into the whole "palestinian Arabic people" hook, line and sinker. And no willingness to admit that not only is it all a lie, but that both the PLO and Hamas are responsible on their part for brainwashing and indoctrinating many men, women and children alike to be monsters for the sake of jihad, first against Israel, then against anybody else considered a kuffar. Oh, is she implying Arabs aren't white? Guess so, and I've seen that flaccid tactic before. So, this is the most telling clue the writer doesn't think Gadot should be allowed to get an honorable mention because of her politics. We can only guess where the writer stands on the USA embassy's move to Jerusalem (along with Guatemala and Paraguay), and the fact that several Islamic countries banned the WW movie from local screenings.
Although Gadot lovingly embraces her role as Wonder Woman, embodying the character’s best traits in the real world, Gadot simply does not push the envelope. Instead of recognizing her for her influential role in 2017, TIME 100 simply uses her to fill a white-feminist sized gap.
And that's all you need to know that somebody's writing off whites as inferior, undoubtably without even praising any black Africans who made the lists, or recommending those who should. She doesn't even seem concerned about slavemongering by Islamofascists in Mauritania. I don't see why they even bothered to review the X-Men Wedding Special if this is their position. If they don't like Gadot because she's a proud Israeli, it's illogical they should appreciate even a fictional Jewish character like Kitty Pryde, let alone any of the Jewish creators/publishers who made it all happen. Comicsverse's bias is a pure disgrace and unworthy of representing the medium. It's a lucky thing for Gadot that Time would choose her for a place on their top 100, a list which, I'm guessing, happens to cover nearly a year, but Comicsverse makes it sound more like it all pertains to this one, which is fairly dishonest too. If that's their take, then maybe they shouldn't go to see the WW movie sequel, if it's in the works.

Former Clinton Pollster, Mark Penn: Stop Mueller to Save Us All

Aging Homo

From the Hill:
The “deep state” is in a deep state of desperation. With little time left before the Justice Department inspector general’s report becomes public, and with special counsel Robert Mueller having failed to bring down Donald Trump after a year of trying, they know a reckoning is coming.
At this point, there is little doubt that the highest echelons of the FBI and the Justice Department broke their own rules to end the Hillary Clinton “matter,” but we can expect the inspector general to document what was done or, more pointedly, not done.
It is hard to see how a year-long investigation of this won’t come down hard on former FBI Director James Comey and perhaps even former Attorney General Loretta Lynch, who definitely wasn’t playing mahjong in a secret “no aides allowed” meeting with former President Clinton on a Phoenix airport tarmac.
With this report on the way and congressional investigators beginning to zero in on the lack of hard, verified evidence for starting the Trump probe, current and former intelligence and Justice Department officials are dumping everything they can think of to save their reputations. But it is backfiring.
They started by telling the story of Alexander Downer, an Australian diplomat, as having remembered a bar conversation with George Papadopoulos, a foreign policy adviser to the Trump campaign. But how did the FBI know they should talk to him? That’s left out of their narrative.
Downer’s signature appears on a $25 million contribution to the Clinton Foundation. You don’t need much imagination to figure that he was close with Clinton Foundation operatives who relayed information to the State Department, which then called the FBI to complete the loop. This wasn’t intelligence. It was likely opposition research from the start.
In no way would a fourth-hand report from a Maltese professor justify wholesale targeting of four or five members of the Trump campaign. It took Christopher Steele, with his funding concealed through false campaign filings, to be incredibly successful at creating a vast echo chamber around his unverified, fanciful dossier, bouncing it back and forth between the press and the FBI so it appeared that there were multiple sources all coming to the same conclusion.
Time and time again, investigators came up empty. Even several sting operations with an FBI spy we just learned about failed to produce a Delorean-like video with cash on the table.
But rather than close the probe, the deep state just expanded it.
All they had were a few isolated contacts with Russians and absolutely nothing related to Trump himself, yet they pressed forward. Egged on by Steele, they simply believed Trump and his team must be dirty. They just needed to dig deep enough.
Perhaps the murkiest event in the timeline is Rod Rosenstein’s appointment of a special counsel after he personally recommended Comey’s firing in blistering terms. With Attorney General Jeff Sessions shoved out of the way, Rosenstein and Mueller then ignored their own conflicts and took charge anyway. Rosenstein is a fact witness, and Mueller is a friend of Comey, disqualifying them both.
Flush with 16 prosecutors, including a former lawyer for the Clinton Foundation, and an undisclosed budget, the Mueller investigation has been a scorched-earth effort to investigate the entirety of the Trump campaign, Trump business dealings, the entire administration and now, if it was not Russia, maybe it’s some other country.
The president’s earlier legal team was naive in believing that, when Mueller found nothing, he would just end it. Instead, the less investigators found, the more determined and expansive they became. This president and his team now are on a better road to put appropriate limits on all this.
This process must now be stopped, preferably long before a vote in the Senate. Rather than a fair, limited and impartial investigation, the Mueller investigation became a partisan, open-ended inquisition that, by its precedent, is a threat to all those who ever want to participate in a national campaign or an administration again.

HUGE! Email Shows FBI ‘Informant’ Stefan Halper Was Still Spying on Trump Well Into 2017

HUGE! Email Shows FBI ‘Informant’ Stefan Halper Was Still Spying on Trump Well Into 2017

Stefan Halper was paid a total of $411,575 in 2016 and 2017 for work with the US government that included spying on the Trump campaign.
Now this… It looks like Halper was still working for the Deep State well into 2017 after President Trump was in office. Carter Page, who was spied on by the Obama DOJ and FBI, published an email he received from Stefan Halper in July 2017.
Halper was still reaching out to Carter Page well into 2017.

The FBI Informant Who Monitored the Trump Campaign, Stefan Halper, Oversaw a CIA Spying Operation in the 1980 Presidential Election

From Glenn Greenwald:
AN EXTREMELY STRANGE EPISODE that has engulfed official Washington over the last two weeks came to a truly bizarre conclusion on Friday night. And it revolves around a long-time, highly sketchy CIA operative, Stefan Halper.
Four decades ago, Halper was responsible for a long-forgotten spying scandal involving the 1980 election, in which the Reagan campaign – using CIA officials managed by Halper, reportedly under the direction of former CIA Director and then-Vice-Presidential candidate George H.W. Bush – got caught running a spying operation from inside the Carter administration.
The plot involved CIA operatives passing classified information about Carter’s foreign policy to Reagan campaign officials in order to ensure the Reagan campaign knew of any foreign policy decisions that Carter was considering. Over the past several weeks, House Republicans have been claiming that the FBI during the 2016 election used an operative to spy on the Trump campaign, and they triggered outrage within the FBI by trying to learn his identity.
The controversy escalated when President Trump joined the fray on Friday morning. “Reports are there was indeed at least one FBI representative implanted, for political purposes, into my campaign for president,” Trump tweeted, adding: “It took place very early on, and long before the phony Russia Hoax became a “hot” Fake News story. If true – all time biggest political scandal!”
In response, the DOJ and the FBI’s various media spokespeople did not deny the core accusation, but quibbled with the language (the FBI used an “informant,” not a “spy”), and then began using increasingly strident language to warn that exposing his name would jeopardize his life and those of others, and also put American national security at grave risk.
On May 8, the Washington Post described the informant as “a top-secret intelligence source” and cited DOJ officials as arguing that disclosure of his name “could risk lives by potentially exposing the source, a U.S. citizen who has provided intelligence to the CIA and FBI.”
The top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, Mark Warner, who spent much of last week working to ensure confirmation of Trump’s choice to lead the CIA, Gina Haspel, actually threatened his own colleagues in Congress with criminal prosecution if they tried to obtain the identity of the informant.
“Anyone who is entrusted with our nation’s highest secrets should act with the gravity and seriousness of purpose that knowledge deserves,” Warner said. But now, as a result of some very odd choices by the nation’s largest media outlets, everyone knows the name of the FBI’s informant: Stefan Halper.
And Halper’s history is quite troubling, particularly his central role in the scandal in the 1980 election. Equally troubling are the DOJ and FBI’s highly inflammatory and, at best, misleading claims that they made to try to prevent Halper’s identity from being reported.
To begin with, it’s obviously notable that the person the FBI used to monitor the Trump campaign is the same person who worked as a CIA operative running that 1980 Presidential election spying campaign.
It was not until several years after Reagan’s victory over Carter did this scandal emerge. It was leaked by right-wing officials inside the Reagan administration who wanted to undermine officials they regarded as too moderate, including then White House Chief of Staff James Baker, who was a Bush loyalist.
The NYT in 1983 said the Reagan campaign spying operation “involved a number of retired Central Intelligence Agency officials and was highly secretive.” The article, by then-NYT reporter Leslie Gelb, added that its “sources identified Stefan A. Halper, a campaign aide involved in providing 24-hour news updates and policy ideas to the traveling Reagan party, as the person in charge.”
Halper, now 73, had also worked with Donald Rumsfeld, Dick Cheney, and Alexander Haig as part of the Nixon administration. When the scandal first broke in 1983, the UPI suggested that Halper’s handler for this operation was Reagan’s Vice Presidential candidate, George H.W. Bush, who had been the CIA Director and worked there with Halper’s father-in-law, former CIA Deputy Director Ray Cline, who worked on Bush’s 1980 presidential campaign before Bush ultimately became Reagan’s Vice President. It quoted a former Reagan campaign official as blaming the leak on “conservatives [who] are trying to manipulate the Jimmy Carter papers controversy to force the ouster of White House Chief of Staff James Baker.”

A Distinction Without a Difference: New York Times Says, F.B.I. Used Informant to Investigate Russia Ties to Campaign, Not to Spy, as Trump Claims

This is what law professors tell their students is a distinction without a difference
NY Times:
F.B.I. Used Informant to Investigate Russia Ties to Campaign, Not to Spy, as Trump Claims
The informant made contact in the summer of 2016 with Trump campaign advisers who were already under scrutiny for ties to Russia.

This is really a silly distinction. Spies inform their bosses on what they found out. In this case, the Spy actually used entrapment to snare Papadopolous.
While the DOJ was going out of their way to exonerate Hillary Clinton for mishandling classified material it was sending in spies to determine if Trump's sarcastic statement about Russia having her missing emails
was part of a plot. Do they have any idea how ridiculous they look? They exonerate an actual crime and take seriously sarcasm.
Even as the DOJ IG closes in on those responsible for botching the Hillary investigation some the media are still making excuses for her criminal activity and still trying to criminalize innocent activity by Trump.

French President Emmanuel Macron is Expected to announce a Overhaul of Islam in France, Including Major Reforms of Islamic Bodies, Halal Practices, and the Training of Imams

The Last English Prince comments:
Some of it looks cosmetic, except perhaps, for tackling the extortion industry otherwise known as the Halal food industry.
"Major reforms" in the Islamic bodies of jurisprudence plays into the template of the Muslim Brotherhood, which seeks to raise up a generation of business suit-Wall Street prototypical imam in the U.S. The look changes, the message remains the same.
If Macron has kahunas he will use the watch list as a deportation precedence list.
We should do the same. I believe watch lists should be fluid documents which stream jihadi into prison or back to home soil. Anything less, is about job security at the expense of the security of the American people.

So Much Winning! Earth Has Cooled Half a Degree Since Trump Election

Sky News Australia this week announced that Mother Earth has cooled by half a degree since Donald Trump was elected President of the United States.

Rowan Dean told his audience on Saturday the Earth has cooled 0.454 degrees Celsius since Donald Trump got elected. It’s true.

Watts Up With That reported:
From February 2016 to February 2018, “global average temperatures dropped by 0.56 degrees Celsius.”
That, he notes, is the biggest two-year drop in the past century.

Deep State Informant Spied on Trump Campaign Before FBI Officially Began Its Investigation

From Gateway Pundit:
Current and former officials — apparently so fearful that an FBI informant’s identity and role would be outed by congressional Republicans — confirmed both to the New York Times and the Washington Post in an attempt to offer their own narratives first.
Both outlets offered details that readily identify the informant — but do not name him, citing concerns for his safety and warnings from U.S. intelligence officials.
The details, however, match a person described in the Daily Caller as Stefan Halper, a Cambridge professor and longtime Washington, D.C. fixture who worked for three Republican administrations and has links to U.S. and British intelligence.
The Times and Post are the first outlets claiming to have confirmed his identity, and to describe him in such detail as to match the description of Halper.
The accounts also indicate the FBI lied about when they first began surveilling the Trump campaign, or might have done so, without any particular intelligence. FBI officials have said they began investigating the Trump administration on July 31, 2016, after stolen Democratic National Committee emails were released on July 22, 2016, prompting Australian officials to come forward with information they received from Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos months earlier.
Officials sold this version of events last year to the Times, which wrote on December 31, 2017, in a piece titled “How the Russia Inquiry Began: A Campaign Aide, Drinks and Talk of Political Dirt”: “…when leaked Democratic emails began appearing online, Australian officials passed the information about Mr. Papadopoulos to their American counterparts, according to four current and former American and foreign officials with direct knowledge of the Australians’ role.”
However — the problem with that account is that the FBI informant had approached Trump campaign adviser Carter Page before that email release on July 22, 2016, and before the Australians came forward with the information, supposedly after that.

Israel and Its Enemies: Why Culture Matters, Or, Why being magnanimous to a shame/honor culture makes things worse

From American Greatness:
A passage from a landmark American novel shows why attempts to appease Israel’s enemies have always failed and always will fail. Thomas Berger’s Little Big Man (1964) is the story of Jack Crabb, a fictional 19th-century frontiersman.
In 1852, when Jack is 10 years old, he comes to live with the Cheyenne of the Northern Plains through a set of circumstances too complicated to recount here. On his first morning among the Indians, out of a desire to be accepted and liked, Jack makes an error that earns him the lifelong enmity of another boy. Jack explains (emphasis is added):
After our bath [in the stream] them boys fetched bows and we played war in and out of a buffalo wallow near camp, shooting one another with arrows that didn’t have no points. And then we did some wrestling, at which I was none too good and somewhat shy to try too hard, but after getting badly squeezed, I turned to boxing and bloodied at least one brown nose. The latter was the property of Younger Bear, and the event caused him to receive a good deal of jeering, because I’d say Indians are given to that trait even more than whites. I felt sorry for Younger Bear when I saw the ridicule I had let him in for.
“Which was a big mistake: I should either never have hit him in the first place or after doing so should have strutted around boasting and maybe given him more punishment to consolidate the advantage: that’s the Indian way. You should never feel sorry about beating anybody, unless having conquered his body you want his spirit as well. I didn’t yet understand that, so throughout the rest of the day I kept trying to shine up to Younger Bear, and the result was I made the first real enemy of my life and he caused me untold trouble for years, for an Indian will make a profession of revenge.
Like the Cheyenne, Arabs operate in a shame/honor culture in which a beaten enemy sees the winner’s concessions and goodwill gestures as further humiliation. Being the recipient of magnanimity underscores subordination. After all, only victors can afford to be generous. Therefore, no Israeli offer will ever be good enough.
Only subjugating the Jews can expunge Arab shame. Honor won’t be restored until the Zionists are dead, driven out, or reduced to a degraded remnant.
Psychologist David Gutmann (1925-2013) believed this was why “Palestinian leaders have rejected or sabotaged every proposal for statehood since 1947.” Gutmann, writing at the American Spectator, explained:
“The calculus of Shame dictates that the Palestinian stigma of defeat can only be removed by a bloody victory over the Jews who inflicted it. By the same token, their state cannot be handed to the Palestinians by some benign international arbiter, or by a generous Israeli government. . . . The gift of a state that was not won in battle would only increase Palestinian shame.”
So there is no “peace partner” and no “peace process,” although Arab leaders will pretend these things exist while playing for time—which they believe to be on their side. It appears to them that the nations (gentiles) don’t much like the Jews, and they conclude that Israel is isolated. “We Arabs are so many and the Jews are so few,” they observe. They therefore see Israel as an ephemeral Crusader kingdom.
Unlike Westerners, Arabs are patient—in it for the long game. European vilification of Israel and international pressure on the Jewish state do not facilitate peace. On the contrary, they give heart to Israel’s enemies and prolong the conflict.
What circumstances, then, favor peace?

Suitcases With Millions In Cash Regularly Flying Out Of Minneapolis That May Be Going To Terrorists

From Fox 9:
For five months, Fox 9 has been investigating what appears to be rampant fraud in a massive state program.
This fraud is suspected of costing Minnesota taxpayers as much as $100 million a year.
The Fox 9 Investigators reporting is based on public records and nearly a dozen government sources who have direct knowledge of what is happening. These sources have a deep fear, and there is evidence to support their concerns, that some of that public money is ending up in the hands of terrorists.
This story begins at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, where mysterious suitcases filled with cash have become a common carry-on.
On the morning of March 15, Fox 9 chased a tip about a man who was leaving the country.
Sources said he took a carry-on bag through security that was packed with $1 million in cash.
Travelers can do that, as long as they fill out the proper government forms.
Fox 9 learned that these cloak-and-dagger scenarios now happen almost weekly at MSP.
The money is usually headed to the Middle East, Dubai and points beyond. Sources said last year alone, more than $100 million in cash left MSP in carry-on luggage.

California Congressional Candidate Confronts Transgender Using Women’s Restroom

Jamina Saavedra, who is running for a congressional seat in California’s 44th District, posted the video to Facebook Tuesday in which she can be seen walking toward the restroom and filming the door of a bathroom stall.
“That guy violated my right to use the ladies room here, and he’s saying he’s a lady. Stupid guy,” Saavedra says in the viral footage. “This is so stupid — in California, how they let people say… It’s a man, saying he’s a lady, he’s using the ladies’ room.”
Saavedra then waits outside the restroom, positioning her camera to face the door. Hidden inside a stall as Saavedra films in the bathroom, the transgender argues , “I was using the toilet – how was I invading your privacy?”
After a few minutes, footage shows a manager escorting the individual out of the bathroom. “We need to stop those crazy … people in power,” Saavedra says to the camera as the person leaves the Denny’s.
“We cannot allow those things. We need to respect the family. We need to respect women and men, separate. We cannot put them together in the same restroom.” Saavedra claimed she was prepared to defend herself had the altercation turned violent.
“I was with my pepper spray ready and I called the manager so he helped me,” she says. “How can I be with a man inside of the ladies’ room just because he thinks he’s a lady? This is unbelievable. Only in California this happens.”
Saavedra’s opponent, Democrat incumbent Nanette Barragán, condemned the video.
“I was appalled by the treatment that this woman received for simply trying to use the restroom. Everyone has the right to their own identity, and the right not to be discriminated against for who they are,” Barragán said.
When Target announced that it would welcome transgender customers to use any bathroom or fitting room that matches their gender identity two years ago, shopper traffic declined for the first time in years. As a result, the company installed more single-occupancy bathrooms in all its stores to give critics of the policy more privacy costing the retail giant Target $20 million to install.
Here something you can only know if you live in California, or Arizona, or another place where there is a tremendous number of immigrants. One of the greatest things about immigrants is very few of them buy into the stupid fucking politically-correct bullshit our government, media, and schools vomit on us so relentlessly.

Awesome. Thank you, Jazmina.

Comment from The BuckWheat:
"...Everyone has the right to their own identity, and the right not to be discriminated against for who they are,” Barragán said. " This is a lie by egregious omission. If transgendered people only wanted to "their own identity", that would be one thing, but many jurisdictions have made them a "protected class", who can impose their emotional and psychological chaos on the rest of us while they are sorting themselves and their gender out. In many cases, the weight of the law is used to compel us to go along with their chaos and turmoil. We are instructed to go along. Offense is turned into a criminal act.
But it goes further.
If these people want anything it is acceptance and approval. Well, sorry. I don't accept your problem. I especially don't accept that your problem is my problem. I don't accept that you want me to not complain when you want to share the restroom with my grand daughters, or that you want my tax money or my insurance premium pool to pay for your medical bills, or that you want to indoctrinate school children that what you are doing is just hunky-dory. I don't have to become an enabler for any of the myriad of psychological problems in the DSM, and I certainly don't want to be forced to be an enabler for your sexual confusion. This is how we went from #LandOfTheFree to #BakeTheCake. -
