Merkel Tells Germans Not to Attend Anti-Islam Rallies

Merkel condemned the organizers of the protests and said they were driven by prejudices and hatred against foreigners.
The chancellor used unusually direct words in her New Year’s speech on Wednesday for the rallies organized by a group calling itself Patriotic Europeans against the Islamization of the West, or PEGIDA which have been attended by thousands.
When the protesters chant “we are the people,” they actually mean to say “you don’t belong ? because of your religion or your skin color,” Merkel said.
PEGIDA organizers insist they are protesting only against extremism and not against immigrants or Islam itself, but the demonstrations have received support from far-right groups, prompting concerns that anti-foreigner sentiment might be rising.
Funny how Merkel thinks she knows better than the people themselves why they attend these rallies.
Her statement would seem to blame racism/xenophobia.
The people themselves are anti-racist inclusionists who simply want to make sure they can preserve a Liberal culture in Germany.

Brad Meltzer suggests he's okay with Roger Waters

A few weeks ago, I wrote a topic where the comics artist Cully Hamner later responded by spitefully/gleefully indicating he's fine with anti-Israeli musician Roger Waters, and also with novelist Meltzer, his penning of the offensive miniseries Identity Crisis notwithstanding, and now, here's a special screenshot of a retweet said novelist took:
Yes, this particular tweet, in which Waters comes up, was retweeted by none other than Meltzer himself, suggesting he sees nothing wrong with Waters. Can it prove a man of allegedly Jewish background like Meltzer has poor taste in whom he'd like to associate himself with? Of course, and so, that's one more reason why I'm glad I wrote the topic in the first place. It helps give an idea what drives certain "ideologues". On the surface, Meltzer might've retweeted it out of self-indulgence. But if he's got no problem with people like Waters being involved, that certainly gives reason to wonder.

Update: oh, and speaking of Hamner, look at this little plaque of honor he sent me after I wrote another post taking him to task for how he upholds Meltzer with such disregard for dissenters:

Wow, that sure is charming. And in exchange, let me just say that you, Hamner, have a lot in common with the Satmar Haredis! Yes, seriously. I mean, if you support socialism, then so do they, and quite a few more ideas you might support as well. Not something you'd expect anyone to suggest, I'm sure. Thank you very much for showing just how rational you are; it helps get an idea what's gone wrong with comics contributors today. I figure one day, Hamner will be wearing one of those goofy streimel hats and growing a nice long beard, enjoying socialist welfare in Kiryas Joel, and supporting more anti-conservative stances in the very place some leftists no doubt view as perfect for their cause. Hee hee!

Campus oppression

Alexandra Zimmern lets us all know how universities today are restricting free speech on draconian levels, and it's not just dangerous for Israel, but for other people too:
The infamous Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) campaigns and “apartheid week” displays on college campuses are not the only threat to Jewish students. A much greater threat looms: the inability for students to publicly defend their beliefs. While universities claim to be havens of open debate and intellectual curiosity, they are in reality black holes of political correctness. On campus, only certain ideas are worthy of consideration and Zionism is definitely not one of them. This culture doesn’t just threaten members of the Jewish community, who are terrified to challenge those who accuse Israel of the most heinous crimes. Rather, it threatens all of us who value free speech and its ability to encourage criticism, debate, and original thought on college campuses.

While speech codes are thought to be a thing of the 90s, the truth is that college students today are facing the most serious threats to their civil liberties. From “trigger warnings” to “free speech zones,” universities are slowly training students to become hypersensitive and incapable of deviating from ideologies that are in vogue.

But unlike the 90s, universities are now controlling speech in a much more insidious manner. Speech codes today manifest in vague and poorly written policies that try to protect students against harassment, sexual assault, and bullying. Seemingly, these policies serve the best interest of students who face these issues on campus. But practically, they give university administrators the power to punish students for harmless speech protected by the First Amendment, while ignoring due process for the accused.

It is shocking how many universities have such policies. Lehigh University, for example, defines harassment as “…unwelcome statements, jokes, gestures, pictures, touching, or other conducts that offend, demean, harass, or intimidate.” I suppose they weren’t planning to invite Sarah Silverman (or any other decent comedian) anytime soon. Georgetown University’s Code of Student Conduct includes punishable measures against incivility defined as behavior that “disrespects another individual.” Since when is being disrespectful a crime? In Minnesota, St. Olaf College has a policy that disallows “creating or posting material that is offensive” on a campus computer. In other words, no emailing political memes, cartoons, or opinion articles…all of which could potentially offend someone.

Therein lies the real danger. How can we punish students or professors for saying something that might be understood as disrespectful? And should universities have the authority to decide what does and does not fall under these definitions on a case-by-case basis? For many students, the positions that conservatives take on social issues are offensive: anti-gay marriage, anti-abortion, etc. But that shouldn’t mean that these positions are illegitimate and that those who hold these opinions should be discriminated against. These policies, though, allow for exactly that.
Exactly. And the only time anti-gay marriage stances are considered appropriate are when Muslims object to it. It's extremely disturbing how university staffs are basically teaching their students to be thin-skinned towards anything they disagree with. How can anybody at a college be a true success if they have low self-esteem? Most bewildering is how people with no ownership or property certificate to a college campus can make such a fuss about people they don't agree with giving lectures there, or why they'd even want to attend. Staying at home would be a much better way to go, yet these leftists waste all their time yelling at people they despise, acting vulgar and hardly presenting somebody you'd want to hang around with.

I think one of the challenges now is to get universities to stop teaching their students to be thin-skinned and start acting with self-confidence. Better still, they could teach them to be apolitical and not act like politics are something they must adhere to no matter what.

Obama Frees Nuclear Terrorist from Gitmo

From Daniel Greenfield:
There appears to be no threat that a terrorist can pose and no crime he has committed too severe to prevent him from getting a plane trip out of Gitmo at taxpayer expense. The last releases saw terrorists rated as high risk freed by Obama. They included fighters with experience on the battlefield and covert operations.
Obama set loose a suicide bomber, a document forger and a bomb maker who trained other terrorists to make bombs. Those are exactly the sorts of enemies whose license to Jihad will cost lives.
But that’s nothing compared to Obama’s latest gift to the Jihad. When Mohammed Zahir was caught, among his possessions was found a small sealed can marked, in Russian, “Heavy Water U235 150 Grams.”
According to the classified report, the uranium had been identified by Zahir “in his memorandum as being intended for the production of an “atom bomb.”
Zahir was not just another captured Jihadist. He was the Secretary General of the Taliban’s Intelligence Directorate and was in contact with top leaders of the Taliban and Al Qaeda.
His possessions included a fax with questions intended for Osama bin Laden and he had been arrested on suspicion of possessing Stinger missiles. But that may not have even been the worst of it. Among the items was a notebook containing references to large sugar shipments to Washington D.C.
Investigators believed that sugar was used as a code word for heroin. The Black Sea stops mentioned in the notebook are major hubs for smuggling heroin and for nuclear smuggling as well.

Sarcelles, France: Jews Flee After Pro-Palestinian Rioters Who Chanted “Gas The Jews” Attack Jewish-Owned Shops, Synagogue

From the Puff Ho:
France’s politicians and community leaders have criticised the “intolerable” violence against Paris’ Jewish community, after a pro-Palestinian rally led to the vandalizing and looting of Jewish businesses and the burning of cars.
It is the third time in a week where pro-Palestinian activists have clashed with the city’s Jewish residents. On Sunday, locals reported chats of “Gas the Jews” and “Kill the Jews”, as rioters attacked businesses in the Sarcelles district, known as “little Jerusalem”.
Manuel Valls, France’s prime minister said: “What happened in Sarcelles is intolerable. An attack on a synagogue and on a kosher shop is simply anti-Semitism. Nothing in France can justify this violence.”

Sweden to Opt for Suicide by Immigration?

From Daniel Pipes at National Review:
Woe to anyone in Sweden who dissents from the orthodox view that welcoming large numbers of indigent peoples from such countries as Iraq, Syria, and Somalia is anything but a fine and noble idea.
Even to argue that permitting about 1 percent of the existing population to emigrate annually from an alien civilization renders one politically, socially, and even legally beyond the pale. (I know a journalist threatened with arrest for mild dissent on this issue.)
Stating that there exists a Swedish culture worth preserving meets with puzzlement. And yet, the realities of immigration are apparent for all to see: welfare dependency, violent bigotry against Christians and Jews, and a wide range of social pathologies from unemployment to politically motivated rape.
Accordingly, ever-increasing numbers of Swedes find themselves — despite known hazards — opting out of the consensus and worrying about their country’s cultural suicide.

Obama’s Anti-Cop Jihad

From the Counter Jihad Report:

The Protests were Organized for one Specific Purpose – Dead Cops
In December 2012, a respected Egyptian news magazine named six Obama administration officials who were in fact agents of the international terrorist organization, the Muslim Brotherhood. They claimed that these individuals had helped change the White House “from a position hostile to Islamic groups and organizations in the world to the largest and most important supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood.”
One of these alleged agents was Imam Mohamed Magid, a Koranic scholar from Sudan. In the Obama administration, Magid was appointed to the Department of Homeland Security’sCountering Violence and Extremism working group in 2011. He is on the FBI’s Sikh, Muslim, and Arab advisory board (yes, we have one of those). He has trained and advised personnel affiliated with the FBI and other federal agencies.
Under Obama’s dictates since he entered the Oval Office, the United States government decided to publicly announce a softer approach to countering Islamic terrorism and the ideology behind jihad (i.e., war in the name of Islam). Imam Mohamed Magid has been a centerpiece in Obama’s show of tolerance (of violence) and diversity (of means of death), so much so that he and his organization have been “cited … as the primary means of outreach to the American Muslim community.”
It’s now known that Magid has a remarkable connection to the murderer of two NYPD officers this December.

Net Neutrality = Net Communism

From Patterico's Pontifications:

It seems to me that the Net Neutrality proponents are trying to repeal the laws of supply and demand through legislation. Such efforts always end badly. We should re-label the effort “Net Communism.” Let me explain.
The Internet promotes this illusion of a Shangri-La world of unlimited access to unlimited data for free. Of course, we all realize (if we think about it) that this isn’t quite the case. You have to pay at both ends of Al Gore’s information superhighway.
On the receiving end, whether you access the Internet through your phone or your computer, you typically have to pay an ISP for access.
You could go to a Starbucks and grab their free WiFi, but somebody has to pay for that access (hint: it’s Starbucks). They pay for it, and provide it to you for free, to lure you there and sell you overpriced coffee-style drinks and pastries.
But someone has to pay
On the serving end, you must pay as well. As you have probably noticed (since you’re here) I have a Web site.
I pay to maintain the URL, and I pay hosting fees to a company that hosts the site on a server.
Because I don’t pay thousands of dollars every month, the server capacity I can purchase is limited. I share a server with several other sites that also typically do not need a dedicated, gold-plated server.
This arrangement typically suits my needs, but the site is not necessarily able to sustain a link from Matt Drudge. (I have found this out before.)
If I am dissatisfied with this state of affairs, and wish to have a site that can easily withstand a Drudge link, I will have to pay more. There is good reason for this: bandwidth, like most resources, is scarce
If a Drudge link hits my site while my site is on a shared server, it slows down traffic for all the other sites.
If I pay more money to the hosting company, they can now afford to invest in capital (a new server) that can help them better satisfy my needs.
If I don’t pay them more money, they are typically going to choke off some of my traffic, to ensure that all the other sites don’t go down.
But what if I could somehow convince the government to order the ISP to treat my Web site “equally” — even though I don’t pay more?

The Top Anti-Muslim Hate Crime Hoaxes of 2014

From Robert Spencer:
On Christmas morning, a man drove up to the Islamic Cultural Center in Fresno, threw rocks through the windows, and then entered the center and destroyed things inside. The local ABC outlet, KFSN, reported Friday that “Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer says it is clear the incident is a hate crime which is why the FBI is also investigating this case.”
But on Saturday, it turned out that the incident was not an “anti-Muslim hate crime” at all: the vandal was Asif Mohammad Khan, a Muslim.
The destruction at the Islamic Cultural Center in Fresno was yet another in a long series of fake hate crimes designed to prop up the fiction that Muslims in the U.S. are routinely targets of discrimination and harassment.

CAIR Warns Us To Be On The Lookout For Buddhist Militants

Islam: The Untold Story

My Grandfather told me the truth is revealed in the little things

I thought of that when I saw this article.

He was a small boy working on a farm (someone else’s) near what is today the Belarus border and was then a Czarist Russian dominated Polish population. The people were getting a bit uppity, especially the farmers, an independent lot.

So in come the cossacks to destroy everything, just not the way you think.

No one was hurt. They came to the farm, quartered their soldiers, and their horses, and ate the family out of every single little morsel of food for them, and feed grain for their farm animals until it was all gone, and then moved on.

The little thing?

When they found out my grandfather just toiled there, and lived in the barn, the Cossacks, who would under any other circumstance charge back and forth thru his shtetl until it was acceptably raped, murdered and in all ways rendered uninhabitable, made sure he ATE WITH THEM and was full.
It was that act, he said which told him they were going to destroy the farmers, perhaps KILL them if this did not work. Indeed, when he told the farmer, they made plans to get the family away. Here, in fact.

So now, what little thing informs us?

We look to Barack Obama. His recent signing (actually not, just an imperial memorandum) of the no deport for illegal immigrants, in effect making up laws set up the big argument as an indicator to his self arrogation of power, and his desire and RIGHT to do so, because he says so. It is his ROLE. He know it.

Other say, ‘BAH, every prez does this’

So what is the little thing?

Soldiers forced to relocate wedding for Obama’s golfing

BY KELLY COHEN DECEMBER 29, 2014
One couple wanted to get married, but President Obama wanted to play golf.
Army captains Natalie Heimel and Edward Mallue Jr. knew Obama was headed to Hawaii for the holidays, so on a whim, they extended him an invite to attend their Dec. 28 wedding — one he politely declined. That same day, they were informed they would have to move their wedding location.

The wedding was set to be at the 16th tee box at Kaneohe Kipper Golf Course on the Marine Corps Base in Hawaii — a favorite of both Mallue and Obama.

“It was kind of ironic they got the letter from them and then, within hours, they were told they had to be moved due to him,” Jamie McCarthy, Mallue’s sister, told Bloomberg Politics. “It was emotional, especially for her — she’s the bride and in less than 24 hours they had to change everything they had planned.”

It’s his right, you see.

First citizen and all that.

Women and Children Last: “Ferry catastrophe: Muslims beat women and children to save themselves”

Islam turns morality on it's head. The strong go before the weak. The women and children last. Might is right. Power, greed and lust are exalted.

Who is the "God" of such morality?
“It was hell. I saw some scary scenes. There were men, Iraqis, Turks, Pakistanis on the ship, who was told to sit down to allow rescuers to prioritize children, elderly and women. But they climbed, beat and pulled the people to come first to the rescue helicopter and into safety. I was also beaten. I was so furious. It was really ugly. I will never forget it.”, Said Dimitra Theodossiou.”

We Muslims should be appalled by the sale of halal meat by stealth

From Taj Hargey in the Daily Mail:
When I walk into a restaurant, I’m usually a hungry customer. It shouldn’t be important to the waiter what my religion is. I could be a Muslim, a Christian or a Jedi warrior. Whatever my beliefs, I have a right to enjoy my meal without any hidden agendas.
Pizza Express, one of Britain’s favourite food institutions, admitted this week that all the chicken it serves has been killed according to traditional halal methods. The blood was drained from the bird and prayers were recited during the slaughter.
Now it turns out that the meat in many supermarkets is also halal — though there is no recognisable label to indicate this fact to consumers.
This is covert religious extremism and creeping Islamic fundamentalism making its way into Britain by the back door.
It is completely wrong that the food sensitivities of Britain’s Muslims — who amount to just 4.8 per cent of the population — should take precedence over the other 95 per cent.
Halal meat should never be forced on customers without their knowing, surreptitiously and using clandestine methods. It’s unfair to everyone, non-Muslims and Muslims alike.
It’s deception on a grand scale for the former, while it could fuel bitter resentment against the latter.
Of course I understand that many of my fellow Muslims, who are moderates not militants, will feel strongly that they wish to eat meat that has been killed by customary halal methods — and they have a perfect right to do so.
But many misconceptions need to be clarified, because I am certain that most people don’t understand where these rules about food came from, and who benefits from them.
First of all, if you’ve just tucked into a chicken pizza without knowing it was halal meat, it hasn’t done you any physical harm.
But it hasn’t done you any spiritual good, either. Muslims don’t believe that religious observance can be used as a holy shortcut or a ticket to paradise.
Furthermore, the idea that Muslims cannot eat non-halal food — food that is suitable for Christians — is completely wrong, and it has no theological basis in the Koran, the supreme text of Islam.
I’m a dedicated Muslim, a devout religionist, an imam and intellectual scholar of Islam, but I eat whatever food is placed before me, with the obvious exception of pork. If you’re kind enough to invite me to your home, I would eat whatever meat you chose to serve: turkey, lamb, chicken, beef … anything except pork.
This is perfectly permissible in Islam, and the crucial thing is that it doesn’t have to be halal meat.
No one wants an imam to be quoting chapter and verse of the Koran over the turkey sandwiches, but it is important that everyone understands how clearcut the teaching is. Chapter five, verse five of the Koran states:
‘This day all good things are made lawful for you. The food of the People of the Book [meaning the Jews and the Christians] is lawful for you, and your food is lawful for them …’
There are no ifs and buts about that. The Koran does expect us to be thankful for our food, however. I teach in Oxford, and when I go to dining halls in the university, I eat what is available. I must say, I’m partial to a slice of steak.
At the point of consumption, before I put the food in my mouth, I give thanks, with a brief prayer that Muslims have been saying for more than 1,400 years.
I say: ‘In the name of God, the most Merciful, the most Gracious.’ Christian readers will recognise what I’m doing — it’s very similar to the concept of saying grace.
The Koran says we cannot eat slaughtered meat unless the name of God exclusively has been pronounced over it, not any other deity or idol. So, it does not really matter if, when that cow or lamb was slaughtered, the abattoir workers were saying prayers or playing heavy rock music at full blast on their radios.
The individual prayer just prior to actual consumption makes the meat fit — halal — to eat.
But if the Koran does not insist on what have become the customary halal methods, why are they now so prevalent in Britain?
One reason is that religious zealots and theological ideologues are deliberately promoting confusion about halal to sow discord and resentment.
Three of the main fundamentalist Muslim sects — the Wahhabi fanatics in Saudi Arabia, the Salafi extremists of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, and the Deobandi zealots from India-Pakistan — are foisting their fabricated notions about it down our collective throats.
Muslim fundamentalist insistence on halal meat does not come from the Koran itself — it derives from a secondary and often suspect source, called the Hadith.
The Hadith consists of the reputed sayings of the Prophet Mohammad, only compiled some 300 years after his death, and it is replete with gross contradictions and anti-Koranic statements.

UPDATED AT BOTTOM OF POST --- Hands Up – Don’t Serve: Chipotle In Brooklyn ALLEGEDLY Refuses To Serve Cops Over #BlackLivesMatter

ALLEGEDLY MEANS ALLEGEDLY

UDATED ---

A Chipotle representative responded to the incident.
They took appropriate action against the employee involved.
On Dec. 16, a group of eight NY police officers came to one our Brooklyn restaurants at about 6:15 PM, and before approaching the counter saw a single Chipotle employee raise her hands in what appears to have been a spontaneous, unplanned gesture of protest directed at the police. The group of officers then left without ordering food. In no way was this statement from our employee consistent with our culture and values. Quite the contrary. We work very hard to make all of our customers feel welcome in our restaurants.
Since being notified of this incident, we have conducted a review to determine what happened, including review of video footage from security cameras and interviews with our restaurant team. We have also taken appropriate actions with regard to the employee involved, and reiterated to our operations teams the importance of making all of our customers feel welcome in our restaurants. No exceptions. Finally, we have apologized to many of the people who have contacted us regarding this issue.
Above all, we apologize to the officers involved. We serve law enforcement officials in our restaurants around the country every day, and we appreciate their service.
Quite simply, this incident should never have happened.

Housewife and mother of three believes Halal certification goes against Australian values and is pushing for an investigation into whether the profits fund terrorism

From the Daily Mail:
An Aussie housewife claims to have discovered ‘deception and corruption’ within the food industry, campaigning to uncover the truth about the relationship between Islam and some of Australia's major food companies.
Kirralie Smith is concerned that Australians are unknowingly funding Islamic bodies every time they do the grocery shopping.
She is seeking full disclosure from food companies so Aussie shoppers are fully informed so they have a choice on whether or not to buy from companies are allegedly giving funds to Islamic organisations.
She is also calling for an investigation of these Australian organisations, alleging that the international counterparts of the Islamic bodies were found using the proceeds to fund terrorism.
Ms Smith is the director and founder of ‘Halal Choices' and has made a shopping guide to inform shoppers about which companies are 'Halal Certified' - meaning their foods are appropriate for Muslims to consume.
To become Halal-certified, a company must pay an ongoing fee to an Islamic body to gain certification. This certification deems that the product is acceptable to be prepared in accordance with Muslim law.
She argues that Australians are being ‘deceived’ by food companies who are not open about funding Islamic bodies through ‘Halal certification’.
‘I believe that as non-Muslims we should have a choice of whether or not we want to practice and fund Islamic religious ritual practices with our everyday grocery purchases,’ said Ms Smith.
Dr Muhammad Khan, the CEO of Halal Australia, said the fact that the money from Halal certification went to mosques was not an issue.
'It is absolutely not necessary to talk about this subject matter,' he told The ABC. 'Don't [Kosher certification organisations] fund their own synagogues? Why can't the Islamic certification body give donations to mosque projects?'
Ms Smith insists that she does not encourage any boycott of the products, clarifying that she is ‘all about choices and giving people information so they can make their own informed decisions.'
‘As a wife and a mother of three who does the shopping, I thought I should do something to take responsibility for what we bring into the household.’
The mother-of-three feels that at present Australia’s culture and core values are at risk. ‘I’m passionate about Australia – our values, our culture and especially our freedoms that have been hard fought for.
'In Australia, we generally have freedom of speech, equality, democracy and freedom of religion,' she said during a speech at a forum in March this year.
‘I believe Halal certification is in opposition to these values.’
On her website, Ms Smith encourages people to lobby the companies and government, suggesting they send the message: 'I do not wish to support any brand that pays an Islamic religious tax to have their product halal certified.
'Less than 2% of this population is Muslim and I do not want to fund special religious rituals or political campaigns to increase the presence of Sharia Law in Australia.
'Please respect consumers and give them/us the necessary information so we can make our own choices.'
Ms Smith is also concerned about the impact of the extra expense of Halal-certified production on the cost of the final product.
‘In chicken processing plants at Steggles, six fulltime, Muslim-only slaughtermen are employed,’ claims Ms Smith.
‘Two of these employees who do not actual slaughter the chickens, but their jobs are to say prayers over them.'
‘From my point of view, I don’t need people there, paid on a fulltime basis, to pray over the chickens.’
Ms Smith is questioning how much these processes cost considering it is a service that she, as a Christian, does not want nor require.
‘The figures are huge but companies won’t disclose them because they have signed non-disclosure forms.’
Ms Smith argues the companies are failing to disclose what fees are being paid, their involvement with Halal Cerification authorities, where the money is going and even frequently failing to label their product as ‘halal-certified’.
‘I have a problem with funding being imposed upon me. ‘People shouldn’t be paying money towards those causes every time they buy groceries.’
Ms Smith is concerned about how the funds are being used Islamic Certification authorities and is advocating for an investigation.
‘The reality is that overseas it has been proven that the certification fees are going towards funding terrorism,’ said Ms Smith.
‘I feel so passionate because big companies, like Nestle and Sanitarium, pay big halal certification fees but don’t make it publically known so consumers can’t make a choice of whether or not they want to pay more.
‘We give information to the consumer because Australians have every right to buy or not to buy the products. She is deeply concerned, alleging that many companies are paying unnecessary fees for food products that are already Halal.
‘Capilano honey pays certification fees, yet honey is universally considered halal.
It is the same with white milk and yet Parmalat pays fees for certification,’ said Ms Smith.
Ms Smith eamiled Capilano regarding the halal certification, and received a response which said that while honey was already considered halal under Islamic law, 'it is our customer's requirement to provide halal certification in order for us to conduct business with them,' reported The Sydney Morning Herald.
'This sounds like extortion to me.

That Senator Jeff Sessions was REMOVED from his coming chairmanship of the Senate Budget Committee by McConnell because of sharp edge of Obama’s executive action on immigration?
Fiscal Times:
McConnell and other GOP leaders viewed Sessions as “the biggest thorn in their side” in trying to resolve the controversy over immigration reform, even invoking the threat of another fiscal showdown, according to a Republican source. The leadership viewed Enzi as someone who wants to see progress made next year towards some type of accommodation with Obama and the Democrats, despite the vast differences between the two parties on the topic. - See more at: http://www.thefiscaltimes.com/2014/12/24/New-Senate-Budget-Chief-GOP-Dealmaker#sthash.Z3PXx3lO.dpuf

Halal Infiltration: Food Sacrificed to Idols

I Corinthians 8:

Now about food sacrificed to idols: We know that “We all possess knowledge.” But knowledge puffs up while love builds up.
Those who think they know something do not yet know as they ought to know. But whoever loves God is known by God.
So then, about eating food sacrificed to idols: We know that “An idol is nothing at all in the world” and that “There is no God but one.”
For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as indeed there are many “gods” and many “lords”), yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.
But not everyone possesses this knowledge. Some people are still so accustomed to idols that when they eat sacrificial food they think of it as having been sacrificed to a god, and since their conscience is weak, it is defiled.
But food does not bring us near to God; we are no worse if we do not eat, and no better if we do.
Be careful, however, that the exercise of your rights does not become a stumbling block to the weak.
For if someone with a weak conscience sees you, with all your knowledge, eating in an idol’s temple, won’t that person be emboldened to eat what is sacrificed to idols?
So this weak brother or sister, for whom Christ died, is destroyed by your knowledge.
When you sin against them in this way and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ.
Therefore, if what I eat causes my brother or sister to fall into sin, I will never eat meat again, so that I will not cause them to fall.

As the video above demonstrates, Muslims are doing what they need to do to make sure food sacrificed to idols (Allah) is introduced into our society. There are multiple reasons for this, some having to do with money, some with Stealth Jihad.

Allah is not the God of the Bible.. To those of us who believe in the God of the Bible, Allah is an idol.

This Halal food is not harmful to us, either physically or spiritually. The God of the Bible is not cowed by Allah. Allah is nothing to the God of the Bible.

And therefore, Allah is nothing to us.

That being said, MUSLIMS KNOW that the food has been sacrificed to Allah, AND THEY KNOW WE KNOW.

Muslims are weak. They are among the weak ones spoken of in I Corinthians 8. They are in bondage to Allah, who is a God of power and submission, blood, and death. This is why Muslims kill, each other, cut themselves up, beat their heads on the ground, play with entrails, and all the other abominations that are part of the worship of Allah.

Therefore, if we eat of their food, we are causing them to stumble.

If we eat of their food, they are destroyed by our knowledge.

If we eat of their food, we sin against Christ.

ISIS Say Only a Matter of Time Before Europe Is Conquered; Plan 'Largest Religious Cleansing Campaign' in History

From the Christian Post:
A spokesman for ISIS has claimed in an interview that it's only a matter of time before the jihadists expand and conquer Europe.
He also defended the terror group's practices of mass enslavement and beheadings, and said that it plans to carry out "the largest religious cleansing campaign" in history, which will include the killing of hundreds of millions of people.
"No, we will conquer Europe one day. It is not a question of if we will conquer Europe, just a matter of when that will happen. But it is certain. ... For us, there is no such thing as borders. There are only front lines," the spokesman, identified only as a German ISIS fighter, told journalist Juergen Todenhoefer in an article for CNN.
"Our expansion will be perpetual. ... And the Europeans need to know that when we come, it will not be in a nice way. It will be with our weapons. And those who do not convert to Islam or pay the Islamic tax will be killed."
The terror group's mission is to establish an Islamic caliphate across the Middle East region, and eventually the world. When asked about Shiite Muslims who don't share the same beliefs as ISIS, the spokesman said that anyone who refuses to convert will be killed.
"150 million, 200 million or 500 million, it does not matter to us," the jihadist said. "We will kill them all." He also argued that slavery is a sign of "progress," and claimed that the practice also exists among Christians and Jews.
"I would say that slavery is a great help to us and we will continue to have slavery and beheadings, it is part of our religion ... many slaves have converted to Islam and have then been freed."
This article was originally from CNN, but I have posted the Christian Post version, because CNN tried so hard to ameliorate the ISIS message.

What would CNN do if they didn't function as the Public Relations firm for the worst people on Earth?

Here's the original interview from CNN. They bury all the heaviest statements in the depths of the article.

And as the USA SQUEEZES the life out of Rus and Iran with oil supplies burgeoning … Beijing’s $24 billion currency swap program to help Russia is a sign of things to come.

Bloomberg:

China Steps In as World’s New Bank

Thanks to China, Christine Lagarde of the International Monetary Fund, Jim Yong Kim of the World Bank and Takehiko Nakao of the Asian Development Bank may no longer have much meaningful work to do.
Beijing’s move to bail out Russia, on top of its recent aid for Venezuela and Argentina, signals the death of the post-war Bretton Woods world. It’s also marks the beginning of the end for America’s linchpin role in the global economy and Japan’s influence in Asia.
What is China’s new Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank if not an ADB killer? If Japan, ADB’s main benefactor, won’t share the presidency with Asian peers, Beijing will just use its deep pockets to overpower it. Lagarde’s and Kim’s shops also are looking at a future in which crisis-wracked governments call Beijing before Washington.
China stepping up its role as lender of last resort upends an economic development game that’s been decades in the making. The IMF, World Bank and ADB are bloated, change-adverse institutions.  When Ukraine received a $17 billion IMF-led bailout this year it was about shoring up a geopolitically important economy, not geopolitical blackmail.
Chinese President Xi Jinping's government doesn't care about upgrading economies, the health of tax regimes or central bank reserves. It cares about loyalty. The quid pro quo: For our generous assistance we expect your full support on everything from Taiwan to territorial disputes to deadening the West’s pesky focus on human rights.
This may sound hyperbolic; Russia, Argentina and Venezuela are already at odds with the U.S. and its allies. But what about Europe? In 2011 and 2012, it looked to Beijing to save euro bond markets through massive purchases. Expect more of this dynamic in 2015 should fresh turmoil hit the euro zone, at which time Beijing will expect European leaders to pull their diplomatic punches. What happens if the Federal Reserve’s tapering slams economies from India to Indonesia and governments look to China for help? Why would Cambodia, Laos or Vietnam bother with the IMF’s conditions when China writes big checks with few strings attached?

Meet "Notintheface1", a bad leftist blogger

In this special post, if we were to examine moonbat bloggers and decide who should be the winner of the worst Islamophile category, here's a very awful one by the name of...(drums rolling, trumpets tooting) "Notintheface1"! He comes from Illinois. He is a very bad man. I first became aware of his ultra-leftism after he wrote a dismissive post with traces of moral equivalency in response to one of mine. I don't know why, but my reply to him was awfully simplistic at the time. Maybe it's because I can't think of anything much to say to anybody as a big conversation anymore? Or, was it because there's not much point arguing with such pretentious people? No matter. I'm not perfect anyway. For now, what matters is whether he leans towards dhimmitude? Yes, alas, he does, and here's another example for starters of his hostility to those who would dare speak against religion. He is shocked - SHOCKED - I tell you! He says:
Frank Miller's "Holy Terror" - Riddle me this: What's black and white and made entirely of shit? Answer: This racist, Islam-hating Frank Miller graphic novel. I've grown progressively less fond of Miller's writing over the decades, but I've always maintained my love of his black-and-white work (see: Sin City). Until now. Hard to believe Miller originally intended this as a Batman story. This story features two characters I'll call Not Batman and Not Catwoman hunting down Al Qaeda agents in the aftermath of terrorist bombings, engaging in torture and Islamophobic stereotypes in the process. Even the B&W art here wasn't all that. Some panels did look beautiful, but many others looked like Miller just scribbled diagonally with an ink brush and called it a night. DC and the Bat-Franchise didn't just dodge a bullet by passing on this. They dodged a fucking mortar shell.
Riddle me this: what's anonymous and ignorant of the fact that Will Eisner also spoke against Islam in his last years before his death? Why, Notintheface1 of course, what else? Why is he so surprised a guy who was more or less a protege of Eisner's would write something possibly to honor a man who'd been his good friend many years? We can only wonder now if Notintheface1 will turn against Eisner and denounce him as filthy for having guts in the years prior to his demise to taking on a challenging issue.

Notintheface1's also the gazillionth ignoramus who cannot distinguish between religion and race. Personally, I believe there should be a distinction between the Jewish race and its similarly named religion. I guess that means he sees none there either. By not distinguishing, he's dehumanizing many Arabs, no matter what he thinks of the religion they've been saddled with since the 7th century. Say, what are the odds he'd also turn his back on child/spousal abuse in the Satmar community, ditto their anti-Israelism? And, what are the odds he takes a delegitimizing view of apostates from Islam disillusioned with their former religion for all the right reasons?

He also tries to justify defense of the Koran by arguing Christianity has its share of badness. But what would he say if he knew Islam rejects both Christianity and Judaism, as indicated by Sura 5:54? Let us be clear. If you don't like some of the beliefs espoused in the Christian bible, so be it. But that's still no reason to defend the Koran's much worse beliefs.

Let's also feature an example of our special guest's anti-cop bias on Twitter circa the time 2 NYPD officers were murdered in cold blood:

This poor fellow lacks respect for those trying to maintain public safety. The NYPD have been hit very hard by the recent shooting tragedy, and he's only worried about what the police think?

Are leftists making up their minds automatically while dismissing everything out of hand? Are the police not allowed to be furious at deBlasio for endangering them and making their job harder?

Before you predetermine your position, please kindly try not to say police officer = evil only and perp with gun = fully innocent in every way.

I think this clown's just had his Brownie Points Hypocrisy Moment! Worried about some crappy forum hosting porn on their site, but not the least bit worried about Islamisogynists doing the same thing? His acceptance of the Religion of Rape also makes me skeptical he ever took offense at DC's notorious 2004 screed called Identity Crisis, or even Marvel's Avengers: Disassembled. Say, and why's he got a beef with Gamergate when their supporters happen to include a certain movement I'm sure he's sympathetic to? As is noted here:
Wikileaks’s Julian Assange found common cause with the movement, tweeting his support on a number of occasions and replying to questions about GamerGate on reddit. The Occupy movement, seeing GamerGate as an anti-establishment initiative, also gave public support. [...]
Seriously?!? Whoa, I'll bet that silly ol' Notintheface1's pounding his fists upon the desk in despair now that he's learned his favorite movement were among the supporters! Say, what if Occupy's the one running 8chan? If they are, I've got a hunch he's going to quietly drop the subject and never bother complaining again.

After pondering some of Notintheface1's positions, I've concluded he'd make a great Satmar-Haredi member, something I'm sure he wouldn't expect anybody to suggest. And maybe that's where he's headed in the future, to Kiryas Joel, where he'll don a funny black fur hat called a streimel, grow a funny beard, and spend his time living on welfare at everybody else's expense while adhering to a fully corrupted, phony take on Judaism. Besides, it's pretty obvious he's not a true comics/superhero fan, so it only figures he'd abandon even that much later down the line. Oh well, c'est la vie.
