All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.

There have been some backlashes, but the only problem is it seems the backlash only occurs in the instance of Muslim on Muslim violence, i.e. Al-Zaqawi's bomber in Jordan...
ex-pat Saudi Muslim now living in the UK. Very sharp wit. Very clear analysis of what is going wrong.
But as you say, there could have been such support for a movement that used a slogan like, oooh, I don't know "Not in my name" after the bombings in London on july 7th. Such missed opportunities....

There are voices in the wildnerness however, although Daniel Pipes notes that attendance was low in the March rally, between 50-150.
That's not bad, out of 1.3 billion, right?! Well I suppose like Pipe's says, you gotta start somewhere...
Yes, that protest in Washington DC was very honest. And, it was very sad that only 100 people showed up.
And you really should check out this chap.

Pedant,
I checked your recommended link. The blogger there satirized "Allah's will," which is fatalism--one of the big problems in Islam.
