From Hugh Hewitt:
Chilling. He asserted that the US was behind the Hezbollah-Israel War, repeatedly attacked the legitimacy of the State of Israel, and made a lengthy attack on the legitimacy of the Security Council. "Is it appropriate to expect this generation to submit to[to the Security Council]?" he asked, and demanded the General Assembly take on the reform of the UN and equip others with the veto power.
He closed with a disturbing heartfelt appeal/prayer, which is a warning to the West:
"I am emphatically declare that today's world more than ever before longs for just and righteous people with love for all humanity, and above all longs for the perfect, righteous human being and the real savior who has been promised to all peoples and who will establish justice, peace and brotherhood on the planet. [The Twelfth Imam] Oh Almighty God, all men and women are your creatures and you have ordained their guidance and salvation. Bestow upon humanity that thirst for justice, the perfect human being promised to all by you, and make us among his followers among those who strive for his return and his cause."

Still at it, is he? Anyone blink this time?
I don't suppose we can count on anyone in the MSM to question what the identity of this "perfect, righteous human being and the real savior who has been promised to all peoples and who will establish justice, peace and brotherhood on the planet" might be in Ahmadhimmijerker's fevered little brain? (Can you imagine the outcry if Bush ever said anything remotely like that?) Am I getting too cynical in my belief that they will just swallow the sappy appeals to "justice, peace and brotherhood" and label the rest a "metaphor" of some kind?
Did he get around to actually issuing a Dawah again, by the way? Or are the rest of us expected to share the Pope's?

Will the press just gloss over this? I'll have to check tomorrow's WaPo.
i still have yet to see a transcript or commentary other than Hewitt's.
I'm wondering if he issued a "Call to Islam" and a series of veiled threats.
That's what I expected from him.
As for the thing about the "perfect human being", if anyone questions that the answer will be, "Well, Christians are waiting for the return of Christ you know. What's the difference?"
AOW,
I think the press will attempt to gloss over it, but certain people like Krauthammer and Steyn will bring it up, and then the press will do what I said in the above post.
Just watch. I'd be willing to bet on it.
I did not hear Bush's speech. If he did not do so, Bush should ended a prayer in the Name of Jesus - Savior of the world.
That would have ruffled some chicken feathers in the Mohammedan world.
:-)
Yeah, can you imagine. The left would probably stone Bush to death.
History repeats itself. We've got another Adolf Hitler (Ahmadinejad), a similarly tolerant League of Nations (the UN) and of course, another Neville Chamberlain (Bush).
Where is Ronald Reagan when we need him most? Could it be Mitt Romney?
I like Mitt Romney. He seems to understand our predicament.
Frontpagemagazine.com recently had a very good article entitled
Symposium: Ahmadinejad’s Armageddon
which can be viewed at

I enjoyed the website, keep up the good work.

That last link should have been

for the Frontpagemagazine article.
sorry.
Infidel Sage,
Thanks for the link, bro.
I posted it above. I don't have the video, but the only person I saw taking this subject on thoroughly was Benjamin Netanyahu. He brought it up in all of the interviews he gave regarding "Israel VS. Hizballah: A New Beginning". Seriously though, he did work it into almost all of the interviews I heard at that time.
