IMHO, China is pursuing all military means necessary to successfully invade and conquer and occupy Taiwan, including absolute defeat of any and all american forces which might come to Taiwan's aid
Gertz:China is building up its air forces with advanced warplanes and other high tech arms, according to senior Air Force official. Lt. Gen. David A. Deptula, deputy chief of staff for intelligence-surveillance-reconnaissance told reporters June 21 that China’s air force build up includes a new indigenous J-10 fighter and purchases from Russia of advanced Su-30 fighter bombers.
