I don't believe him

The Arab driver who started the whole riot in Akko says he's sorry.

But being aware of what Islamic taqqiya is, that's why I'm not falling for his "apology" so easily.

This is exactly the kind of incident Muslims are good at creating. A situation where they look like an innocent victim. They use all the techniques Bob uses in the movie, What About Bob?

The techniques are DESIGNED to provoke an overreaction.

I believe him.

Acre is not a militant stronghold at all....and the driver is in fact a very secular, pro-Israel, citizen.

When half of Israel is getting stoned in Sinai or watching their kids rollerblade throughout the cities...it's a big Chtuzpah to expect Arabs or Christians in Acre or Yafo to observe Yom Kippur.

But Michael, it doesn't say in the article that the driver JUST drove by. He may very well have said something or provoked the situation.

As the WC wrote on The Gathering Storm:

The tactic here, whether intentional or as a consequence of the “outrage,” will serve to shift the focus away from the threat posed by Islamic terrorism to the unfair treatment of Muslims. In wartime, (and we are at war, whether you believe it or not) this shift of focus will provide those having evil intentions against the United States (or in this case, Israel) to operate in a less constricted manner. Whether you believe that this is the intention by those registering objections and outrage, it will nonetheless be the result.

He just drove by. Such a thing in Jerusalem even on Friday..will result in damage to your car...but in non-religious towns and cities....especially Acre and Yafo which are predominately non-Jewish..this is an outrage.

The Police investigation has pointed to the "Jews" as causing the incident.
