PLAN to silence criticism ..valid or invalid, is one piece with the attempt to criminalize same, and that the it is democratic party, their now slavish helpers like Frank Rich and Maureen Dowd (and if THAT column is not a self definition of elitism, I can't imagine what is) as well as Barack Obama himself who are agreed that only THEY can be the arbiters of what fair dissent really is.
Today while they IGNORE Obama appointing those who feel "american jews have a stranglehold on congress" they state that McCain's criticims really are those of a George Wallace warning they (McCain and Palin) are "playing with fire".
Maybe playing with fire is Tony McPeak (who Obama appointed chief military advisor) stating that there is no peace in the middle east because of "certain people in NY and Miami" , uh, just say BAGEL EATERS.
Maybe playing with fire is 20 years listening to a clearly anti american man who says we DESERVED 9/11 because the 'chickens are coming home to roost' while damning us all, AND PRAISING THE OTHER RACIST LOUIS FARRAKHAN, a man who names Israel a gangster state, and who considers the act which ended WW2 a war crime and remaining there for it all, then INSULTING OUR INTELLIGENCE by telling us, you never heard such a thing.
Maybe playing with fire is a joint association with a man who is revolutionizing american youth to the theories of the Weather Underground via his position, and who HAPPENS to earlier have been a violent revolutionary and terrorist whose group committed murders, and then INSULTING OUR INTELLIGENCE by telling us, you never knew.
Maybe playing with fire is inculcating a spirit inside your marriage that there is scant reason to be proud of this nation (where 650,000 union men died freeing the slaves), and that we are "downright mean" while we "hold onto our ignorance" and then INSULTING OUR INTELLIGENCE by telling us, your wife meant something else, when her words form a perfect parallel with your preacher of 20 years plus
Maybe playing with fire is being attorney for a group whose clear agenda is to overwhelm the system those 650,000 men died for, and to end up with an entirely different kind of nation, where property is evil, and working people are a chimera of a phrase to be trotted out by 'those who know best' and then INSULTING OUR INTELLIGENCE by telling us, you have nothing to do with all that
Maybe playing with fire is the organized effort to use the law to arrest, intimidate and silence harsh criticism, and expect that to not cause opposition to harden and become ENDEMIC regardless of the election's outcome and then INSULTING OUR INTELLIGENCE by telling us, it's really about swiftboating.
But never mind all that, because now that the Keating 5 line has failed and your scrotums are tightening up over there, you know what lines to trot out to reach the next level and try to ensure McCain goes on the defensive. John Lewis did it, Barney Frank did it. Harry Reid did it.
