Aqsa Parvez' Family Has Demonstrated That They Approve Of Her Murder

Her father admitted to police that he murdered her:

Over the fall of 2007, Aqsa Parvez shuttled between friends’ houses and youth shelters. She was afraid to go home. Her father, Muhammad, was enraged because she refused to obey his rules. He swore he would kill her.

On the morning of December 10, Aqsa huddled in a Missis sauga bus shelter with another Grade 11 student, a girl she had been staying with for the past couple of days. They had plenty of time to make it to their first class at Applewood Heights Secondary School. As they waited, Aqsa’s 26-year-old brother Waqas, a tow-truck driver, showed up at the bus stop. He said that she should come home and get a fresh change of clothes if she was going to be staying elsewhere. Aqsa hesitated, then got into his car.

Less than an hour later, Muhammad Parvez phoned 911 and told the dispatcher that he had killed his daughter.

The family had her buried in an unmarked grave.

Pamela took up a collection to buy a headstone to memorialize her.

The family has rejected this offer.

Case closed. As far as I am concerned, these people are proving they are accomplices in her murder.

Some time ago Pamela Geller began to take up a collection to provide honor killing victim Aqsa Parvez with a headstone -- at present Aqsa lies in an unmarked grave, plot #774 in Meadowvale Cemetery in Brampton, Ontario. I joined Pamela in this effort, which was a chance to honor Aqsa personally and to show those who commit honor killings that we in the West will not acquiesce in their devaluing and destruction of these human beings, and attempt even to erase their memories.

As things have developed, however, the family has (predictably enough) been dragging its feet, and the fact that the Islamic Society of North America owns all the land surrounding the gravesite prevents us from placing a monument near Aqsa's grave. Pamela explains, and sets out an alternative way to honor Aqsa:

First off let me thank all of the fine and decent infidels who contributed so generously to the Aqsa Parvez memorial fund.

Robert Spencer and I have pursued the headstone marker furiously. We approved the headstone back on December 23rd (here), The bottom line is that the family (her alleged murderers) has to "sign off" on it. We are still waiting for them to look at the headstone. Clearly they are the obstacle. We have tried to pursue purchasing a plot near, around or in the vicinity of her unmarked grave. The Islamic Society owns them all. *sigh*.

Here is the last exchange with the cemetery:

Hi Pamela,

I just had a conversation with my boss and the conclusion is that the only option to memorialize Aqsa is the marker for her grave. We do not have a Memorial tree option and the land on Section 17 does not allow for a bench as you need a large open space for it and the section does not have that space.

Thanks,

Philip

********************

Philip, The family is not going to memorialize this girl. She has shamed the family. Sharia law will not allow this girl a headstone. Am I to understand that if the family does not sign off on the headstone that the cemetery in this free, western nation will submit to the barbarity of a misogynist barbaric code and allow this girl to rot in an unmarked grave? Yours in liberty, Pamela Geller

Another great moment in the history of Muslims who misunderstand Islam.

Unfortunately, in this case the family has the law on it's side. Gravesites are considered real estate/real property.

When my father in law died my wife wanted to put a gravestone there for him. Unfortunately there was (& continues to be) a serious ugly falling out between my wife and her mother and her mother has yet to put a headstone there.

My wife tried to do it independantly but was refused. The plot belongs to her mother & only she can authorize that.

It is not, as Pamela puts it, submitting "to the barbarity of a misogynist barbaric code". It has nothing to do with Islam and everything to do with Englsh law, though you must admire her fervor.

Still, the situation sucks and seems to bely the family's complicitousness.

Yeah, you're right.

However, my point here is the family has been called out, and the evidence is they have proven that they approve of the murder of their daughter/sister.

Disgusting.

But, you're right about the law.

Pamela sure does breathe fire, though, and in so doing, she interests a lot of people in this subject.

I agree with everything you said and understood your point, thus my last sentence. Just wanted to point out to anyone who doesn't realize it that the cemetary's hands are tied in this matter, and not because of Islam.

Pamela is not someone I would want to piss off in a dark alley, or well lit parking lot for that matter. She is one of the strongest voices the counter Jihad has.

When Pamela first proposed this, I immediately made a comment that it was a nice but useless gesture, the family would refuse to allow it. Unfortunate I was proven right. The most fitting tribute for that poor child is to drop a bomb on the family home.

MR,
I've done more than my share of pissing Pamela off.

LOL

Ciccio,
I don't think it was a useless gesture. It would have been nice to have honored Aqsa at her gravesite. But, as it is, Pamela has completely unmasked Aqsa's family and that is a very good thing.

Only a complete retard could agree with that.

Luckily we all advocate being completely retarded here at IBA.

I'm in!

Use the money to buy the plot next to
Aqsa. Put up the marker as designed by Pam and Robert and add an arrow pointing to the grave of Aqsa.

midnight rider said...

Sameno - that's the problem. The Islamic Society of North America owns everything around her grave.

And let it be noted that our mainstream media constantly tells us that the ISNA is a "moderate" organization.

but, here they are defending the right of Aqsa's family to have killed her, and defamed her memory.

To my mind, the ISNA are accomplices in her murder as well, in that they are supporting it after the fact.

How about using the money for the marker to buy a bill board outside of the graveyard, honoring this young woman? Much more public, and it gets the point across to a lot more people.

Pamela and Robert Spencer are the one's who will determine how the money is used.
