Nick Griffin now has ‘no time for anti-Semites’
BNP ‘chairman’ Nick Griffin is the author of a book called Who are the Mindbenders? which purports to expose a Jewish conspiracy in the media to promote ‘an endless diet of pro-multiracial, pro-homosexual, anti-British trash’. He has claimed that the Holocaust is ‘the Hoax of the Twentieth Century’ and ‘a mixture of Allied wartime propaganda, extremely profitable lie, and latter-day witch-hysteria’. In 2006, it was exposed that he had named two of the pigs on his farm ‘Anne’ and ‘Frank’. When Griffin’s former MP, Alex Carlile, reported his racist rag ‘The Rune’ to the police (leading to a two year suspended jail sentence for publishing material likely to incite racial hatred), Griffin referred to him as ‘this bloody Jew … whose only claim is that his grandparents died in the Holocaust’.
However, today’s Independent on Sunday reports that in a recent interview with Tel Aviv newspaper Ma’ariv, Griffin has stated that he has ‘no time for anti-Semites’.
We can, therefore, look forward with baited breath to Griffin expelling anti-Semites from the BNP, publicly repudiating his former views, apologising to Holocaust survivors and the families of Holocaust victims, refusing to associate any more with American and European far-right figures who promote anti-Semitic ideas, issuing condemnation of the Nazi loving BNP supporters currently found on YouTube, on blogs and discussion forums, and in the neo-Nazi music scene, and the beginning of a new era of anti-Nazi activism from the BNP. Or maybe not.
Not everyone is happy with Griffin’s turn away from Jew baiting of course. The jolly folk over at Stormfront UK are perplexed. It’s ‘grotesque’ says ‘Grimoir’, who wants to know ‘What the hell is Griffin doing even talking to Israeli newspapers?’ George Lincoln Rockwellloving former Griffin bodyguard Joe Owens, AKA ‘Pure Rage’, a self-confessed ‘loser’ who served prison time for sending razor blades to members of Liverpool’s Jewish community and whose concerns include ‘breeding the untermenchen out’ and transvestite DJs, says of Jews that ‘I’d rather have none of them’, because ‘their usual shenanigans’ include ‘undermining Gentile society’. Nonetheless, he’s ‘not suggesting Griffin [is] in the pay of Mossad, but more of being used by them’. ‘Grimoir’ disagrees, and for ‘Byzantium Endures’, Griffin has ‘prostituted his principles’ and he smells Masonic involvement.
Long may the fragmentation of the British far-right continue. Whether anyone will take Griffin’s latest whitewashing attempt seriously remains to be seen. Let’s hope not.
I wonder if it would be too much to ask that he explain what changed his mind.

If Nick Griffin, or Filip DeWinter had had such an experience, they would share it with us, because it would have been so emotionally devastating, either for bad or good.
But, the fact that they don't think to share this experience with us proves not only that they never had such an experience, but that it never even occurred to them that such an experience would accompany such a drastic change in world view.

I think you hit the nail on the head.
The BNP is in transition from an ethnic/racist nationalist party to a cultural nationalist party. It will have to throw out the old fascist baggage if it is going to become electable, as the older British population will never vote for anything with a Nazi connection.
The younger section of the electorate, thanks to educational dumbing down, don't know who the Nazis were and think Churchill is an insurance company. Hitler was a mythological figure but Sherlock Holmes was real.
I know that there are many BNP members who are not racist. However, I don't believe Nick Griffin. People do not suddenly go from being racist to non-racist, unless they have had some sort of paradigm shifting experience in their life.

I think you are missing the point, I don't trust this guy either, but we need all the allies we can get. He can be dealt with after we win.
It's like the Second World War, we could have not won without the Soviets, and we can't win against the Islamists without the help of rightest european parties.
They, like the soviets, can be dealt with after the islamists are defeated or accept modernity. We need to focus on a common enemy right now and we need all the help we can get.
If 10 percent of muslims are nutso fanatics, that makes 110-150 million people. Again we will need all the help we can get to win
That is an idea which deserves more consideration than the idea, proposed by several other counter-Jihadi bloggers, that Griffin and DeWinter are not racists.
Cf. the case of Corneliu Vadim Tudor, leader of Partidul România Mare (the Greater Romania Party), who after years of (unpunished) high-profile, vitriolic, violent Jew-hatred suddenly decided that it would better serve his political interests to go from an anti-Semitic to a philo-Semitic public discourse. There was no question of any paradigm-shifting existential event, of any epiphany. Vadim is, quite simply, a cynical, unscrupulous liar. Like Griffin.

If we accept these people, racists as allies we will never get that far.
In the WISE MEN it is clear that many here believed the USSR to be okay, OR that the communist model was the future. True Stalin was regarded as a dictator, but not the killer of millions as bad as Hitler (that came in 1953-5)
On the other hand we know these people want white europe and WASP england.
There is no excuse for taking them as partners. I don't know a single person here who would take us seriously if we allied with such people.

I can neither find such excuses, nor can I imagine than that those who partner knowingly and without finding such excuses - with 'George Wallace' are other than what he was.

That happened because these people garnered the support of the people in a great, generational endeavor.
People who ally themselves with ethnic nationalists are NOT in that grouping.
All politicians are notorious for lip service, particularly of the type to strengthen a political base.

I say: LOL. I remember that guy who commented here a few weeks ago who actually justified his anti-Semitism by referencing the fact that Jews believe Tikkun Olam is their call (to make the world a better place).
I guess he hasn't read the verses in Matthew about "as you do unto the least of these". Yeah, Christians have no call to make the world a better place.

Truth is, we Christians are also disliked because we're constantly poking our noses into other people's business, in our efforts to make the world a better place.
Pastorius - no Romanian Jew in his/her right mind believes that a visceral anti-Semite of Vadim's ilk could change his spots overnight. Anyway, in the elections last month, for the first time since 1990 Vadim and his party failed to win even a single seat in Parliament or the Senate, so his toxic effects are limited to his rants on television and the press for the time being. It should be noted that Vadim is a good friend of the Libyan regime and the "Palestinians". Ceausescu's foreign policy was firmly pro-Arab (and under communism Vadim was Ceausescu's "court poet", his toady-in-chief). There are hundreds of Romanian citizens in Gaza - women who married Arabs to escape communism.
I agree with many of the comments above: mendacious crypto-racists are not to be trusted and can only damage the cause of the defence of Judaeo-Christian civilisation against Islamic suprematism. These weasel racists (Griffin, De Winter, etc.) merely align themselves with this cause in order ultimately to impose their own brand of suprematism - white suprematism.

And thanks for your input, because you have more direct experience with it than I do. Here in America, we have David Duke, but not many people take him seriously, so he's just white noise in the background.
There was an interview few years back in Ha'aretz with this Vadim character where he denounced his former anti-semitic ideas. At that time he was running for presidency so it was somewhat understandable, not sure who bought his BS anyway. Another think about him is that he has travel ban in the US and the US authorities refused him tourist visa several times.
