As In The Days Of Noah

Dr. Paul Williams ...

Why do the nations so furiously rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
The kings of the earth take their stand
And the rulers take counsel together
Against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying,
"Let us tear their fetters apart
And cast away their cords from us!"

And, the Lord says, "Go ahead, make My Day".

Jaco, is this the same Paul Williams who wrote "Day of Islam"? If so he has a fine grasp of the power and ramifications of apocalyptic thinking.

It is the same Paul Williams.

I have spoken with Paul Williams on the phone several times, and have interviewed him on the radio. He really believes this stuff. It is not manipulation or demagoguery on his part.

Do you think it is? Is that why you wrote what you wrote?

I don't believe in Biblical apocalyptic teachings, obviously, (or some of what else he said) but I credit Williams in his writing for never forgetting the level on which this war is being fought. That's one reason "Day of Islam" is so good. Those who think the threat can be deflected with an apology tour or concessions or violating everyone's freedom of speech to please the Muslims are don't understand that because the enemy rants they do not mean what they say. Williams does understand that and its implication. Here he is simply speaking in the terms he shares with his audience. I want to see that same urgency whenever this situation is address in terms of the critical threat to all of our freedoms posed by Islamism.

Alas, most people are not going to figure it out until it literally hits us in the face.

Make that "because the enemy rants does not mean they do not mean what they say". Did I ever mention I was born tongue-tied? Obviously it was transferred to my brain.

Yes, I agree.
