Sanford is the Governor of South Carolina.

Our Governor in North Carolina is a faithful worshipper of the Messiah President.

I read one of them was found. He had gone hiking. No word on the other though the sound of Dueling Banjos is occassionally heard.. .

You are right thunder... apologies to the flag which used fly on the capitol, and Pierre Gustave Toutant Beauregard, and Senator Rhett ..

Pasto .. nothing really, but coincidence?

Our daily existence in an AVALANCHE of news is becoming a farce.

All we can hope for is acutely sharp leadership in the republican party between now and 2010, and then again after. Cantor seems pretty good. In the Senate it's a joke. Like Rhett, we need some real firebreathers on a lot of issues, but unlike him we are on the side of individual freedoms.

Polarization in this nation is increasing rapidly.

Parts of Vermont still want to secede. 25% of Texans think they'd be better off. Palin's husband. Many in Oregon and Washington. And where U are? The people's mexifornian republic of Aztlan?

After Obama's comment I'm sure a ton in Las Vegas would like to set up on their own.

Much more of this and I'll be singing Dixie. We'll just have to add a verse about lobster and haddock.

California would CERTAINLY be better off seceding from the U.S.

The rest of the U.S. is a drag on California's economy. We get almost nothing from the Federal government and yet, we're almost as large as the Federal government, and we pay for that budget that makes the American Fed budget so large.

Texas, also, would be better off.

That being said, I don't see a large movement for secession at this time.

Oh those men from Maine get fresh lobster
But not for me, it’s haddock in the pot sir
I don’t want, I don’t want
I don’t want no fish and chips

Fresh lobster tail is what they make
Me I’ve got to eat this hake
I don’t want, I don’t want
I don’t want no fish and chips
