Neda before she was shot
Neda before she was shot. Allahpundit says she is probably (more than probably) the one standing to the left of the gray haired man in the blue and white shirt. Does she look like a threat to you?

It looks like the gunman just picked someone at random to provide an example to the rest of the protesters. If Khameini wants to calm the protests significantly and ease the rioting, he should have the gunman arrested and publicly put on trial. It seems he would rather do things the bloody way, which seems logical for a grotesque fiend like him. Perhaps he enjoys the unrest because Israel would not attack Iran's nuclear program while civil unrest is brewing. Israel knows there is no need to cause the Iranians to rally around a single flag.
