Overheard on Fox just now (roughly): "You were just talking about how someone had heard gunshots and you said no one is sure who was shooting. Well, there's only one side in Iran that has the guns and that's those controlled by the Supreme leader."
Ya think maybe this is exactly what folks like Jefferson, Adams et. al. had in mind with all that unenlightened Second Amendment silliness? Hmm? Imagine how different this would be if the Iranians had guns, how this would play out. How it may never had to have come to this in the first place?
Ok. Second Amendment rant over. For now.

Excellent point. The American public should pay attention.
since the beginning of time --tyrants take away the where-with - all to secure and make weapons...
Hebrews had to go to get their plow shares sharpened--weren't allowed to have fires hot enough to melt metal- & no anvils...
Our Founders knew their history...

Pastorius, are you back from your expedition? How did it go? hoped you relaxed.
Yes, for any uprising to succeed in Iran, guns are going to be needed.
Mao once remarked "political power comes out of the barrel of a gun."
The lessons of the 2nd Amendment here are critical.
CRITICAL!
This teaches America NOTHING about the 2nd amendment. Oh yeah, we see that people in support of the second amendment talk a good game, but how many would be willing to put their lives on the line to show they support it? I favor that only a very small percentage would. Fox, CNN, and the rest of them all talk a good game when speaking of the people. But the largest percentage of us are fat lazy slobs that only care about what comes to our doorstpes, and would hand over their guns if asked to for 'public' safety. America is not the country of freedom loving partiots as it was in the 1770's. Today it is populated with do nothings that would rather have their Latte...
Anonymous,
BULLSHIT!

to se what happens when you come around THIS fat lazy do nothing slob's doorstep uninvited.
Anonymous is another nihilist, just like the bloggers who called Iran a "non-story".
THESE PEOPLE MIGHT AS WELL BE WRITING PRESS RELEASES FOR THE OTHER SIDE,
as far as I'm concerned.
Away with you, you silly man.
Ya really shouldn't talk about Congress that way. . .
I really can't stand Latte. 3 scoops and tap water for me. Hot black as a bat cave and strong enough to walk off on it's own (Mark Twain).
You know what? Maybe I should talk about Congress that way, but I hate the people who don't read their fucking Declaration of Independence even more.
It's your fucking country, people. Get with the fucking program!
