Strange Magical Days In Iran

The title comes from this article of just a few days ago, when the head-up-it's-ass LA Times was sure Freedom was blooming in Iran.

Now, just a couple days later gunshots are ringing out in the streets of Tehran.

From Gateway Pundit:

Madness! Obama Administration Silent As Iranian Students Are Slaughtered in Streets-- Announce They Will Negotiate with Fraudulent Regime

US officials today said they would not accept Ahmadinejad's victory.
Then later today they already announced they would negotiate with the corrupt killer regime anyway.

Meanwhile the Obama Administration stands by as students and democracy protesters are slaughtered in the streets of Tehran.

Hillary Clinton said this earlier today:

"We, like the rest of the world, are waiting and watching to see what the Iranian people decide."
It looks like the people decided they had enough of this violent regime, Hillary.
No surprise, the Obama Administration is still deciding what to do:

The Obama administration would not describe the outcome as legitimate or illegitimate or deem a victory by Mousavi as necessarily better.

"We're not going to characterize what would have been a better or worse scenario," the official said. "We will deal with this as it is, not as we wish it to be.

"We have very serious foreign policy and national security issues at play here," the official added. "That was the case yesterday. It is the case today."

Yet some U.S. lawmakers didn't hesitate to voice skepticism of the outcome.

"There appears to be pretty good evidence that this is a cooked election," Rep. Dan Lungren, R-Calif., told FOX News. "And the most depressing thing for me is we were going to see whether in fact the true leaders of this country, the religious leaders, were going to allow for a real election to have an expression of the people.

I don’t know that it makes a difference or not ... I was searching for images of Tehran in Google, I saw this picture, I read your article ... That student does not react to violence of that day in Tehran; he reacted to all of his dreams vanishing. Tell Hillary Clinton that we tried to decide... but seems we should be that part of history that will be crushed under the steps of a schizoid man like Stalin. I am that student in that picture, I want to appreciate for the sympathy but me and thousands like me don’t want to be this part of history and that’s why that ex-student and nowadays wanderer in Asian countries cries. He cries because he has to watch that someone else sacrifices his and thousands of others’ abilities, talent and dreams to gain nothing. Thx
