How to tell there is no point in trying to improve America's image in this world

President Chavez brought the house down.

When he said the process in Copenhagen was "not democratic, it is not inclusive, but isn't that the reality of our world, the world is really and imperial dictatorship...down with imperial dictatorships" he got a rousing round of applause.

When he said there was a "silent and terrible ghost in the room" and that ghost was called capitalism, the applause was deafening.

But then he wound up to his grand conclusion - 20 minutes after his 5 minute speaking time was supposed to have ended and after quoting everyone from Karl Marx to Jesus Christ - "our revolution seeks to help all people...socialism, the other ghost that is probably wandering around this room, that's the way to save the planet, capitalism is the road to hell....let's fight against capitalism and make it obey us." He won a standing ovation.

Time to stake out the ground, and stand on it.

What the world does, a world with very different values, a world where those who make it unsafe for jews to walk the streets find superb levels of approval, where newspapers are shuttered, leaders self appoint for lifetimes, and TV stations are bludgeoned to silence ... a world ALIEN to the Founders hopes ... is nothing for us to seek approval from.

It is for us to hold them IN THE HIGHEST POSSIBLE CONTEMPT.

That is one of the most important lessons we have to learn. And we'll probably have to learn it the hard way again.

Perhaps not everyone in those countries is as evil as the leaders they have sent to that meeting. But by not rising up against them they have given their silent consent. If this comes to a fight for our survival and millions of them have to pay the price, hey, they signed on to the deal. Like the man said, "Brothers, you asked for it!"

The way I learned it was, "Don't give them your sanction." Hell, I wouldn't give them a busted umbrella on a rainy day. Those who try to appease and "understand" them are throwing soggy Ramen noodles to cannibals.

Won't.

Work.

How the heck are Leftists this stupid into backing the so-called Climate Summit? Even the Red Chinese government had sent its representatives there to the summit, demanding that richer nations redistribute their wealth.

I think that it is important to speak about the climate, but where is the relation with the Islam?

I'm sorry, do you mean you think we should only talk about Islam?

Actually this post has nothing to do with the climate either.

It has to do with how the world REALLY views the USA

How they view the PEOPLE of the USA and our way of life. No one can no argue they hate the american govt but not the people.

If the american people wake up to recognize how this other world sees them and feels about them, there will be an interesting set of elections here.

Sadly, I do not think anyone will take notice of how Chavez and the UN types see the USA.
