All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.
Yeah, he did on the early albums. But that's David Palmer singing. He sang on a couple of the songs on Can't Buy A Thrill but (I don't think) was not a founding member of the band. ABC records wanted him to do all the singing onstage during the their tour because of Fagen's stage fright (one of the big reasons Dan toured rarely, if at all, for so long). By the time of Countdown to Ecstasy he was doing only backing vocals, left the band and Dan toured less and less. Until several albums later when they quit touring, most of the other members left and by the time of Aja Steely Dan was Just Fagen, Becker and a dizzying army of studio musicians.

First sentence should read Yeah, he sang it on the album version.
Been a long fun day with lots of food friends tunes and booze.
I didn't know that's how it went.
Fagen has such a great voice. It's one of my favorites.
