All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.

Wow. I've never seen that video before. Such a great song. Great video. Excellent post!
So now I went on a journey to find out what he's up to these days. Didn't even know if he was still alive. He has an album coming out in September. He has grey hair. He lives in Joshua Tree, California, out in the desert, because he thinks the world will ultimately look like a desert, rocks and sand, and he wants to be used to it. Interesting man who's led an interesting life and whose songs are the soundtrack to every baby boomer's life. He's 71? Fuck!!!
"There was long ones, tall ones, short ones, brown ones, black ones, round ones, big ones, and cRaZy ones!"

"Memorial Day," a song from his soon to be released album "'Till Your River Runs Dry." Sounds just like him.
God bless Eric Burdon!
