Saudi Princess Arrested In Irvine On Human Trafficking Charges

Slavery -
Just another one of the minor inconveniences
we put up with
for the pleasure of living with all the Moderate Muslims
with whom we get to share our great Nation

NO SURPRISE HERE.

ISLAM ALLOWS FOR SLAVERY.

By the way, she is one of the six wives of the Saudi Prince.

From CBS:
IRVINE (CBS/AP) — A Saudi princess was behind bars Wednesday after her arrest on charges of holding a domestic servant against her will, authorities said. Meshael Alayban, 42, was arrested Tuesday night by Irvine Police detectives working with the U.S.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
Alayban was arrested at her condominium on Gramercy west of Jamboree Road in Irvine after the victim, a 30-year-old woman from Kenya, left the residence and flagged down a passing bus, Sheriff’s officials said.
She was carrying a suitcase and a Department of State pamphlet – which described her rights and warned of human trafficking – which authorities said was given to her at the U.S. Embassy in Saudi Arabia, where she was issued a travel visa.
After getting on the bus, an Irvine woman saw she was in distress and helped her contact the Irvine Police Department. In March 2012, authorities say the victim contracted through an agency in Kenya to work for Alayban’s family in Saudi Arabia.
However, once she arrived, her passports and contract were taken from her by Alayban.
The victim was required to work excessive hours and paid only a fraction of the agreed upon salary, according to officials. When the victim complained about the working conditions and asked for her passport back so she could leave, Alayban refused to give it to her, Sheriff’s officials said.
In May 2013, the family traveled to the U.S. accompanied by the victim and four other women from the Philippines under similar contracts. While Irvine Detectives and HSI Special Agents executed a search warrant at the location, the four women were contacted, authorities said.
Their travel documents had also been taken by Alayban. Detectives are working to recover the documents, which are believed to be in a safe deposit box at a local bank.
The women left with detectives voluntarily and an investigation into each of their circumstances is ongoing.
All five women are in good health. There were no immediate indications of physical abuse, investigators said. No charges have been filed in connection with their circumstances.
Alayban is currently being held in the Orange County Jail in lieu of $5 million bail and is set to be arraigned in court on Thursday. If convicted, she faces up to 12 years in prison. Orange County District Attorney Tony Rackauckas said Alayban is married to a Saudi prince.
Meshael Alayban is not the first Saudi princess accused of slavery charges.

Why do we allow total scum like this to live in our country?

To be clear on this issue, the most important thing i want to say is that we saudis are not living in your country and never wish to. Firstly, the only scum here in this world is yourself. Secondly, You can have the honour of stating facts or just shutting up and not saying anything at all. You're more than welcome to review the facts and statements of islam and with your alleged and ridiculous point of view on this religion. Your opinion is rejected to be respected as of your inability will to respect islam. Fools like yourself should not be given the freedom to state whatever they'd like to unless they are able to respect theirselves first. And please do give us the honour of telling us a little bit of yourself and what successful things you have done in your life. As of today, you just proved to the world how foolish of a person you are. Respect others and their religion in order to be respected. No such religion allows cruelty just to be clear on that. Islam is the religion any person would be lucky to have. It is the religion love, forgiveness, and care. You do not have the authority to pin people's mistakes on islam and immediately blame the regulations of it. Since you clearly aren't muslim you clearly know nothing about it. So thank you very much for proving your lovely self as an airhead knowing nothing about this world and what's in it. And also thank you for proving that no sane person can discuss any issue with you. You didn't prove anything about islam, you just proved a lot of things about your embarrassing self. You now have the permission to leave this article to show sane people why we need special treatments for people like you in this world.

A person should really do his/her research before accusing a whole nation. Let alone, a religion. Among many other misconceptions about Islam is the notion that it gives sanction to slavery and permits its followers to enslave prisoners of war, particularly women and establish extra-marital relations with them. I'm here to tell you that if you have done your research you'd no know that the religion of Islam is by no means linked with slavery and concubinage. Since pre-islamic times, there were slaves (everywhere) and Islam came with rules to little-by-little rule slavery out completely. Here are some Hadeeths and verses from the Holy Quran about slavery.. this one is about freeing slaves.
The Noble Qur'ân Al-Baqarah 2:177

It is not Al-Birr (piety, righteousness, and each and every act of obedience to Allâh, etc.) that you turn your faces towards east and (or) west (in prayers); but Al-Birr is (the quality of) the one who believes in Allâh, the Last Day, the Angels, the Book, the Prophets and gives his wealth, in spite of love for it, to the kinsfolk, to the orphans, and to Al-Masâkin (the poor), and to the wayfarer, and to those who ask, and to set slaves free, performs As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât), and gives the Zakât, and who fulfill their covenant when they make it, and who are As-Sâbirin (the patient ones, etc.) in extreme poverty and ailment (disease) and at the time of fighting (during the battles). Such are the people of the truth and they are AlMuttaqûn (pious).
Here's a Hadeeth stating that slaves should be treated as brothers/sisters (this is one of the rules Islam came to slowly overrule and condemn slavery..
Hadith - Sahih Al-Bukhari 3.721, Narrated Al Marur bin Suwaid

I saw Abu Dhar Al-Ghifari wearing a cloak, and his slave, too, was wearing a cloak. We asked him about that (i.e. how both were wearing similar cloaks). He replied, "Once I abused a man and he complained of me to the Prophet. The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked me, 'Did you abuse him by slighting his mother?' He added, 'Your slaves are your brethren upon whom Allah has given you authority. So, if one has one's brethren under one's control, one should feed them with the like of what one eats and clothe them with the like of what one wears. You should not overburden them with what they cannot bear, and if you do so, help them (in their hard job).' "

This one's a verse of the Holy Quran encouraging the act of freeing slaves..

The Noble Qur'ân An-Nur 2:221

Allâh will not punish you for what is uninentional in your oaths, but He will punish you for your deliberate oaths; for its expiation (a deliberate oath) feed ten Masâkin (poor persons), on a scale of the average of that with which you feed your own families; or clothe them; or manumit a slave. But whosoever cannot afford (that), then he should fast for three days. That is the expiation for the oaths when you have sworn. And protect your oaths (i.e. do not swear much). Thus Allâh make clear to you His Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) that you may be grateful. -S

...And in reply to your comment, (By the way, she is one of the six wives of the Saudi Prince). The Saudi Prince WAS married to other women but she is currently his only wife. Islam allows a man to marry 4 women, and that of course has its own laws. If you're interested, you can look it up to further understand the Religion of Islam. And I highly recommend the Quran itself or some trusted books about Islam, not Google. I just have a quick question on that matter.. isn't it better to marry more than one woman and have the ability to divorce (whether you are a man or a woman) than to continuously cheat on each other and to have mistresses without having the ability to ask for a divorce if any problems should arise?
To be honest, I really hate it when people generalize. It just proves to show how uneducated a person is. I would go on and on about this issue but there are many aspects to cover and to help make a person like you understand because clearly you have no idea what you're talking about. For instance, the minimum wage in Saudi is less than $1,600 and the foreigners who come to work aren't forced at all. They agree, THEMSELVES, to a contract in THEIR hometown. And if this kenyan woman was really "enslaved" she could've just ran away at the airport. Where there're police everywhere and she had her own passport. Oh, and SHE gave her passport to her boss, herself. It's just for safekeeping. It's just like when you travel with your parents, don't you keep your valuables with them for safety of loosing them? Just to be clear, I am an American Citizen living in Saudi Arabia. I know Muslims, Christians, Jews and Atheists and I'm friends with each and every one of them. Do you personally know a Muslim? Have you ever visited Saudi Arabia? You are in no place to make false judgements, even if you did know a Muslim. You'd be generalizing (which is what you already did), if though most of what you said is completely untrue. As William Blake once said, "To generalize is to be an idiot." I hope next time you publish a blogpost, you'd do your research first. From trusted sources. :) Please get yourself educated. -S

Typical comment from idiots, especially after they write stuff like:

A person should really do his/her research before accusing a whole nation. Let alone, a religion.

So, Anon...I was going to have a discussion with you but seriously f*** off. If you don't like what you consider generalizations, then don't generalize about others. And if you're going to generalize, then f*** off. Its a two way street and I've had enough of BS from Muslims already begging for and whining about special treatment.

So, I don't know if I said it already but f*** off.

Anonymous,

1) A person who owns slaves is scum. It sounds to me like you would agree with that. So, you would agree with me that this woman is scum.

2) Slavery is common in some Islamic countries, including Saudi Arabia, and most notoriously the Sudan. In Saudi Arabia, many Filipinos are enslaved by various citizens of your nation. If you want to argue that, I will provide the limited record that exists, because your nation does not do research into the ills of your society. (In the United States, when something is wrong, we do the research to find out what is happening, and then we publish the research, and deliberate over it for years on end, so that everyone in the whole world knows what is going on here.)

3) Many "Saudis" (citizens of Saudi Arabia) do live in the United States. The United States is my country. I am a citizen of the United States. But that a Saudi citizen lives in the US has nothing to do with whether the person is scum. They are scum if they own slaves. And we don't want people like that in the US.

See, you and I are in agreement.

Thanks for the discussion.

Okie dokie. While we wait for Anonymous to BS some more. Let's just take a stab at his currently existing BS in this comment thread:

(By the way, I'm not going to copy paste verses here. I'm going to point to verses, go do your research :P.)

First, right off the bat. Sura Al Nur does not even have 221 verses, it has a total of 64. So Either this guy's adding sh*t to the already existing sh*t in the Quran or he doesn't know his own book. And I don't blame him, Quran was dictated to a bunch of morons by a demented, epileptic moron.

If he meant Sura al Baqarah (which is the second Sura) its verse 221 tells Muslims not to marry idolaters...it says EVEN slaves are better than idolaters.

Try using that as a pickup line next time: "I'd EVEN stoop down to a level where I go out with YOU rather than going out with that hot infidel over there...what say you...huh? huh?!"

Sura 2:177 sure talks about freeing slaves but consider it with Sura 24:33 (it clarifies that only those slaves that you find good in are the ones you should free). One should understand (and this may not be clear to our dimwit commenter from comment 1,2,3) that this is to earn brownie points with Allah so you can screw some virgins. This has got nothing to do with principle.

This fact is pretty clear if you read the next verse in 2:178 which talks about equality between people. So if a slave owner or a free Muslim is killed, then you kill the guy who killed the free Muslim...if a slave is killed, you murder the slave of the guy who killed your slave. If a woman is murdered, then you murder a woman of the guy who murdered your woman...(the next verse, in classic twisted, idiotic Islamic way, says "there's life in retaliation"...)

That's what Islam means when it says there's equality in Islam. There is equality in EACH LEVEL OF INEQUALITY.

At least this guy copied the text of Sahih Bukhari Vol 3, book 46, number 721 correctly. Although 720 seems to suggest that MARRYING your female slave somehow equates freeing her. Meh, her status is that of a wife and seeing that women are generally property anyway in Islam, I'd say this is still doing "a lot" according to the standards these barbarians live by.

MORE TO COME...

Now, starting with the hadith that apparently Mohammed seems to have uttered saying that whoever frees a slave-girl and marries her will get a double reward and the insinuation by our idiotic commenter above that the hadith he quoted (721, about the cloak and some sh*t like that) somehow was the start of getting rid of slavery in Islam...

So if Mohammed and Allah decided that slavery was so horrible and slowly wanted to get rid of it, then seeing that according to the Quran Mohammed is the best example for idiots like our little commenter to follow (Sura 33:21)...why then did Mohammed not free his concubines and marry them (oh off the top of my head...why the f*** did he not marry Maria al-Qibtiya?)? He is reported to have 3 other concubines at the very least and none report him changing his mind and marrying them.

And then there's this beauty (Oh Mohammed...wish you could see how people ridicule your stupidity):

Bukhari Vol 7, Book 62, No 137 says that once upon a time Mohammed's minions got a hold of some female captives after murdering people and pillaging in some innocent town or something. They were horny and decided to rape the captives...and they thought we don't want to impregnate these women so we're going to do the ole "pull-out" technique. But some genius thought that they should ask the dimwit prophet of theirs. So they went to him and said, "look here bro, we're gonna pull-out after we're done raping these here wimin." And the dimwit prophet was all baffled and said, "YOU REALLY DO THAT? Because my medical books tell me that whatever Allah wants to be born will be born regardless of whether you pull out or not. So if you gonna rape dese wimin, rape them right...BOY!"

(I know I could have pasted the damn hadith but my story sounds a lot better and probably closer to reality. Besides, who the f*** says coitus interruptus in normal conversation anyway..."What would you like with your tea, sir?" "Oh I'd like some coitus interruptus, thank you very much!")

Bukhari Volume 5, Book 59, No 459 talks about almost the same thing but of course here the dude asking Mohammed says "we loved to do coitus interruptus..." But Mohammed says, "Nuh uh, you just rape them right...or Allah won't be pleased with you."

And the best for last...to basically screw up Anon's whole argument (if you can call it that):

Sahih Bukhari Vol 3, Book 47, No 765 (This book is called Gifts by the way, hehe):

So once upon a time, one of the countless wives of Mohammed decided to free a slave of hers without asking Mohammed. So when it was her night with Mohammed she proudly told him "look hubby...I did something GOOOOD. Like you told me a couple of days ago. I freed a slave so I get to f*** some virgins..." Mohammed all of a sudden got up off all fours, sat up straight and said..."Take off your strap-on because I gotta talk to you..." She did as he asked and then he said, "First off, you have the idea of heaven all wrong, you f***in virgins? B*tch please!! And second, YOU DID WHAT! It would have been better if you'd given that b*tch in marriage to one of your uncles or something..."

Of course Mohammed was very upset that night because his wife and him didn't f*** and he didn't get to widen his anus for the pleasure of ALLAAAAAAAHHH.

Anyway folks...that's all from me for now.

You know what? My religion taught me not to answer to pathetic people like yourself. I know we, as a community and the whole of our religion are above you. I won't generalize and say that all you guys are scumbags. However, one thing is for sure.. you definitely are a scumbag :) it's a shame I had to waste energy on you. - S

Saudi,

Once again, you and I agree. I didn't say all Muslims are scum.

I said the Saudi Princess is scum, and I asked why we let scum like her live in the country.

She is scum. You do agree with that part, right?

I mean, I know you have a principled stand against Slavery.
