Glenn Beck Interview With Imam Sitting on Sharia Tribunal in Texas, Imam Denies Hadith Says "Oh Tree, There is a Jew Behind Me, Come and Kill Him"

Glenn: ... the Qur’an says that the trees and the rocks will cry out there is a Jew hiding behind.

Imam Bakhach: It’s not true.

Glenn: It’s not true?

Imam Bakhach: No, I challenge you to bring me that. What’s her name, Barbara Walters, she challenged the minister of education in Saudi Arabia in his palace. I remember that years back.

Glenn: It is in the charter of Hamas.

Imam Bakhach: I don’t know about Hamas. I’ve nothing to do with that issue, but here we are here as Muslim too. You are referring to me that the Qur’an as in the God mentioned in this book, what you are saying about, the cry, that’s not true.

Glenn: Is it in the hadith?

Imam Bakhach: I’m sorry?

Glenn Is it in the hadith?

Imam Bakhach: This is fabricated.

Glenn: It’s fabricated? There is no place in any Islamic scripture that says that?

Imam Bakhach: No.

Here is the verse the Imam says does not exist:

"The Day of Judgement will not come about until Moslems fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Moslems, O Abdulla, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him. Only the Gharkad tree, (evidently a certain kind of tree) would not do that because it is one of the trees of the Jews." (related by al-Bukhari and Moslem).

Was Glen without an I Pad, Iphone, ANdroid or laptop at the time? Where were his producers? WTH, this verse is easily found online at Islamic and university websites.

Taqiyya, tuqoque, and dualism of Islam fully on display and should have been more aggressively challenged on the spot.

I think Beck seems like a decent guy, but if he was going to ask this question, he should have done his homework.

This morning he was talking about this interview on the radio, and he kept referring to what he called

"Islam's cannononical texts"

CANNONonical.

Got it?

Sigh.

Too bad Robert Spencer does not have the audience of Glenn Beck.
