Trump's Oil Triumph: America could become oil king of the world in 2018

This Is How We Roll In America

From CNN Money:
The United States is poised to ramp up crude oil production by 10% in 2018 to about 11 million barrels per day, according to research firm Rystad Energy.
Surging shale oil output should allow the United States to dethrone Russia and Saudi Arabia as the planet's leading crude oil producer, Rystad predicted in a recent report.
The U.S. hasn't been the global leader, nor ahead of both Russia and Saudi Arabia, since 1975.
"The market has completely changed due to the U.S. shale machine," said Nadia Martin Wiggen, Rystad's vice president of markets.
The prediction shows how the fracking revolution has turned America into an energy powerhouse -- a transformation that President Trump has vowed to accelerate by cutting regulation.
This long-term shift has allowed the U.S. to be less reliant on foreign oil, including from the turbulent Middle East.
From The Last English Prince:
Crude oil production will attain the highest annual average production in U.S. history in 2018. The forecast This is probably also a “first” in modern United States History. We truly have a “Metric President”.
If Ms. Clinton had attained the presidency we would have had a “Narrative President” perhaps a bit worse than Trump’s predecessor.
Speaking of breaking through glass ceilings provides a warm feeling akin to being seated in front of a crackling fireplace. But it is just that: a crackle.
Narrative-driven presidencies of the past have provided us with socio-cultural shifts without the addition of wealth for vast demographics of American citizens.
Crackle.
A Metric President plans his day based on tables and graphs, flow charts, projections, and benchmarks. And everything he does – is based on a need to set mathematical records and shift algorithms into high gear.
Break it down. DACA, building the wall, removing TPS for Haitians and El Salvadorans is not about a narrative. It comes down to a metric.
When the government shuts down today this is also about a metric and not a narrative.
Allow our POTUS to work. Have the patience to understand that Mr. Trump is not a man who crackles. He is a man who roars.
