All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.
Entwistle's bass in Pinball Wizard-- as usual-- just sounds bionic. One of the greatest rock bassists. I saw the first gig they played after he died: Hollywood Bowl, 2002. They had to cancel the concert for a couple days, but when they took the stage, Pete walked over to Roger gave him a hug, then walked to the mic and said, "Sorry for the delay, but we had a problem with our bass player-- typical." I remember I was getting ready for work the morning he died, and I had the radio going in the other room. I could barely hear the news radio announcer, but I DID pick out, "John Entwistle, bass player for The Who..." and it was like somebody punched me in the gut, because I knew there would be no other reason for them to be talking about him unless as a death notice. RIP.
