NIKKI HALEY FOR PRESIDENT 2024

"It’s just easier not to rock the boat. When the crowd is all going one way, it’s hard to be the only one going the other direction. But standing alone on behalf of American interests and values is not something to be embarrassed about. Standing alone for freedom and human dignity is something to be proud of. In America, we don’t celebrate the mob. We celebrate the person who has the courage and conviction to stand up to the mob. Now we’re seeing an example of this cultural corruption playing out in real time. Canada has for a long time been balanced and fair-minded towards Israel at the United Nations. It has opposed the pull of the anti-Israel culture. But Canada is now seeking one of the rotating two-year seats on the Security Council. It faces a vote in the General Assembly. Two weeks ago, Canada surprised Israel’s friends by voting for a North Korean resolution that challenges the legitimacy of Israel. This is a resolution that Canadian governments for years have voted against. One observer said Canada is making a "Faustian bargain," trading its integrity for a seat on the Security Council. I speak from experience when I say the United Nations presents many such opportunities to strike a deal with the devil. Standing up for our principles, and our allies, is a constant struggle, which is another reason why I am so grateful to UN Watch."

President Nikki? Be careful what you wish for. She was Governor of my home state for 6 years. She was not popular.

Her initial election was a fluke sympathy vote after she was publicly savaged by accusations of marital infidelity (probably untrue). Sarah Palin, at the height of her grassroots conservative popularity, campaigned extensively for her. Her reelection was guaranteed when her foolish opponent went wisecracking about "Indian Shopkeepers".

She is a never-Trumper who supported Marco Rubio in the 2016 primary. Trump elevated her to the UN gig to reward his only major SC supporter, Lt. Gov McMaster, with an automatic promotion to the Governor's Mansion.

Now, Nikki is a great talker and a natural born cheerleader. She was great for bringing international business, particularly industry, into the state. But ready for national prime time? Hardly. She is GOPe to the core.

Hmm. Well, if what you say is ttrue, then she sure did serve as Trump's mouthpiece well. Unlike the other people in the Admin.

Let me clear this, I am the first Anon, not the third. I believe Haley's support for Israel is sincere and agree with it. Probably her signature deed at the UN was her unwavering support for the Jewish state.

South Carolina has, since Colonial days, been a very Jewish friendly state. When I started in business here many years ago I was mentored and befriended by Jewish businessmen despite being Roman Catholic. I will forever appreciate that.

Thanks for clarifying.

I am not Jewish either, but my opinions on Jews and Israel are formed by four things:

1) The Bible
2) my own experience with Jews in business who supported me and mentored me
3) the history of the Jews
4) the current situation in Israel, where their state gets condemned for things ad nauseum, while the UN ignores much worse crimes in the Muslim world, not the least of which is the continual calls for the genocide of the Jewish people on Palestinian government funded TV.

And there is that too.
