Trump Brought Back A Great Deal From China, But No One’s Talking About It

WINNING! NOW WITH EXTRA TITS!!!

From the New York Post:
Last weekend in Beijing, as part of his 12-day trip to Asia, President Trump announced that the US and China had signed an $83.7 billion memorandum of understanding to create a number of petrochemical projects in West Virginia over the next 20 years.
If the agreement holds tight, it is an economic game changer for the state. And yet, speaking to the locals here, you wouldn’t even know it had happened.
“I am surprised I heard nothing about it on the national news, nor in my local paper and newscasts,” said Jerald Stephens, 67, a West Virginia native and union rep, who has been a keen observer of local politics for as long as he can remember.
The BBC and CNN covered the news in their business sections, while The New York Times picked up a short story by The Associated Press on the deal. The stories’ headlines were muted; their placement low-key.
“One would have suspected that the prospect of an investment this large — nearly three times the total annual budget for the department of energy — would have been front-page news,” said Paul Sracic, political-science professor at nearby Youngstown State University.

UC IRVINE BANS "IMPERIALIST" AMERICAN FLAG FROM "INCLUSIVE" SPACES

The official resolution reads (in part):
Whereas flags not only serve as symbols of patriotism or weapons for nationalism, but also construct cultural mythologies and narratives that in turn charge nationalistic sentiments.
Whereas the American flag has been flown in instances of colonialism and imperialism.
Whereas symbolism has negative and positive aspects that are interpreted differently by individuals.
Whereas designing a culturally inclusive space is taken seriously by ASUCI
Whereas the removal of barriers is the best option at promoting an inclusive space.
Whereas it is a psychological effect for individuals to identify negative aspects of a space rather than positive ones.
Whereas freedom of speech, in a space that aims to be as inclusive as possible can be interpreted as hate speech.
Let it be resolved that ASUCI make every effort to make the Associated Students main lobby space as inclusive as possible.
Let it further be resolved that no flag, of any nation, may be hanged on the walls of the Associate Student main lobby space.
Let it be further be resolved that if a decorative item is in the Associate student lobby space and issues arise, the solution will be to remove the item if there is considerable request to do so.
Last month, UC Schools voted to "divest from America".

America, and it's State Governments should divest from these schools.

Obama's Campaign Staff Leaves Flag On Ground

From Jawa Report:

Preparing for a campaign stop at the University of Iowa, Obama's forward team spreads out a United States flag on the ground.

Maybe this is a blatant show of disrespect. I don't think so. I think this is more of a display of ignorance and indifference. The Democratic Party has such little regard for our military, for patriotism, for American exceptionalism, they are completely oblivious and incapable of understanding a basic show of respect, gratitude, and appreciation.

High School on Route of Paul Revere's Ride Refuses Pledge of Allegiance

This is at FOX. I lived in Arlington during my college days. At the time of the American Revolution its name was Metonomy and it was on the route of Paul Revere's ride on April 18-19, 1775, and the battle road to and from Lexington and Concord runs through the middle of it. A Harrington died on Lexington Green, cut down by British fire. But another Harrington had to fight to have the American flag returned to classrooms in its public high school. And the Pledge of Allegiance is no longer heard in those classrooms.

School Officials in Mass. Town Won't Let Students Recite Pledge of Allegiance

When Sean Harrington entered his freshman year at Arlington High School, he noticed something peculiar: There were no American flags in the classrooms, and no one recited the Pledge of Allegiance. So Harrington enlisted the aid of his fellow students, and now, three years later, they have succeeded in getting flags installed in the classrooms. But the pledge still will not be recited.

The Arlington, Mass., school committee has rejected the 17-year-old's request to allow students to voluntarily recite the Pledge of Allegiance, because some educators are concerned that it would be hard to find teachers willing to recite it, according to a report in the Arlington Patch.

Harrington had presented school officials with a petition signed by 700 people, along with letters of support from lawmakers including Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., and Sen. Joe Lieberman, I-Conn. But the request to have the pledge recited failed when the committee's vote ended in a 3-3 tie.

"I was really heartbroken," Harrington told FOX News Radio. "It's hard to think that something so traditional in American society was turned down."

His fight has received quite a bit of support from the community. "When I was going to school, it was an honor and a privilege to pledge allegiance to the flag," Francis De Guglielmo, 55, told the Patch. He called the ban an "absolute travesty" and a "disgrace."

Harrington, who will be a senior in the fall, said he will continue to fight. "I'm not a person who quits and I don't back down. It's a very righteous cause and needs to be followed through until the end."

Some committee members voiced concerns about forcing people to do something that might violate their beliefs – including religious beliefs. Among the no-votes was committee member Leba Heigham. "Patriotism is a very personal thing for all of us, but I do not think it is in the school committee's best interest to mandate that any of our employees recite the pledge," she told the Patch.

Harrington said the recitation would have been strictly voluntary.

"If we can't find one teacher who is willing to say the pledge, then the system we have is cracked," he told FOX News Radio, noting that a number of teachers signed his petition. He said the school's ban on the pledge sends the wrong message. "It tells me that we've basically cast aside what our country is founded on," he said. "It's saying that we don't really care, and it's sad."

Arlington's superintendent of schools did not return a call for comment.

I Love My Town. But I Am Ashamed to Share It With Effing Moonbats Like THIS

General John Glover is spinning in his grave, which is about 4 blocks from where I live. He was the Revolutionary War hero whose Marines rowed Washington across the Delaware.

In the Selectmens office of our town hall hangs the original of the iconic painting "Spirit of '76".

And this is the kind of garbage we have living in our town these days:

Marblehead gym members say giant American flag is offensive

The owner of Gravity Fitness in Marblehead says gym members have complained about the American flag hanging inside the gym.

The Fitness club's owner, 23 year-old Mark Shea, hung the 12 foot long flag from the gym rafters on Friday and had over a dozen complaints by Monday.

Some have complained that the flag blocks gym televisions, while some members have gone as far as to say that the flag is offensive.

One members was quoted to say "It's like putting a Jesus cross in my face."

NO IT IS NOT, YOU STUPID LIBTARD. IT IS THE FLAG OF YOUR COUNTRY, NOT A SYMBOL OF A RELIGION WHICH YOU, AS I, DO NOT FOLLOW. YOU LIVE HERE, WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT. SHUT. THE. FUCK. UP.

Another member feels the exact opposite and said "This is America. If you don't like to see the flag you can move somewhere else."

Shea did move the flag so it would not block the TVs but said now the flag is going to stay right where it is. He also said if the complaining members decide to leave the gym he will just have to live with that.

I learned about this from a radio talk show who said that Mr. Shea lost a son in Iraq or Afghanistan. I will find out more about this tomorrow.

Hell will be raised. All suggestions as to how will be gratefully received. Meanwhile I will be finding out where to get a whole lotta flags cheap.

Happy Birthday to the Star-Spangled Banner

Second verse of Francis Scott Key's poem:

On the shore, dimly seen through the mists of the deep,
Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam,
In full glory reflected now shines in the stream:
'Tis the star-spangled banner! Oh long may it wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
