Ever since the London bombings I have been saying that the moderate Muslims had better start reaching out to us, and helping us in our stand against the Jihad. But alas, there has been no organized movement on the part of moderate Muslims to make any sort of effort.

Are you starting to understand the problem you are fomenting with your silence? Can you imagine what people will be saying if we get hit with a really big terrorist attack? One that leavess more than 10,000 Americans dead?

That is not to say we aren't going to suffer some bad losses from here on out. I believe we will, but it looks like the job of waking up America has been done.
Now, I'd like to see what a similar poll would show in Europe.
Christine, when I saw the picture, I too thought, "how appropriate." Art - including photography - is a very efficient medium for the communication of ideas. I keep harping on it, but I wish we could find someplace to have all the pictures that pertain to this conflict, from the planes flying into the Towers to the "jumpers" etc. ad nauseam somewhere in some gallery.
I'm not techie at all, or I'd try to put them all up in a single site devoted just to that.
John, AA, Pastorius, between blue funks, I am very encouraged by the "cartoon magic" and the fact that more and more, they are definitely shooting themselves in the foot with all this behavior.
And no matter what the price in terms of taking economic hits etc., waking up, fighting the good fight, and winning, is worth it.
Yes, agreed Cubed on both counts. We are winning in the sense that we are winning psychological territory. And, I think we need an image gallery.
The only issue with the quoted survey is that MSNBC averages a litle over 100,000 viewers, not close to a representative sample. In reality, the drones on the Right follow Bush's (born again) 'Religion is Peaceful' tripe and the Leftest drones continue the 'Give Peace a Chance' garbage. The vast majority went back to sleep a year after 9/11. The real America died a slow death sometime between the '60s and the 90's.
