The 'schwerpunckt' of the left

I have long wondered if deep inside the leftwards moving center of the left, which continues to drift away from me and most of the others I know, are some truly ugly things. Things which point to the expiration of of BOTH the word 'liberal' and the downfall of society.

Christopher Hitchens (like David Horowitz, and Alan Dershowitz a few of the very special betes noires of the left, as apparent escapees from the jail of left-logic) wrote a column about what the UN should have done after Bush Sept 11, 2002 speech.

Well, the in dwellers of the mos maiorum of left blogs at Huffington have responded, and validated every fear I have wondered over. Every single one.
