British Youth Protest Government Policies

I think they are protesting the goverenment's policies.

Sixteen firefighters took almost two hours to put out the fire at the Al-Birr mosque in the town of Basingstoke, south-east England, which was reported to them about 3.30am (12.30am AEST) today. No-one was injured. It was the second suspected arson attack at a British mosque since 24 people, most of them of Pakistani origin, were arrested in pre-dawn raids on Thursday in connection with the alleged plot. ... [snap] ...

Youths attacked a mosque in Blacon, north-west England, on Thursday night, causing minor damage.

Why would 'youths' want to attack a mosque? Maybe this helps.
A mosque in Walthamstow, east London, is emerging as the hub where a number
of the terror suspects may have met each other and become friends, writes Abul
Taher.

At least eight suspects worshipped at the Masjid-E-Umer mosque regularly, three of whom were well known to those that run it.

It looks that maybe British policy is putting civilians at risk, just not the way the Muslim Public Affairs Committee thinks. We have to remember that these British arsonists are alienated and angry. Everywhere they look around the world they are being bombed. Some Brits feel that their way of life is under seige. A tiny minority are saying "Don't just sit down and take it -- let's fight them."

We have to understand the root causes of this violence. Clearly government policy is driven this frustration.

I always saw that horrible masked delinquents as pig-faced monsters.

"Political Islam" is pleonasm. Islam IS all-political - and religious, cultural, social, militar, etc - such as every totalitarianism.

A name for that facist religion? Satanism.

Fairly, Dante Alighieri putted Mohammed in his fair place: Hell (Inferno). Rennaiscencists always knew the Truth.

Excellent. I just finished reading this disgusting blackmail from Inayat Bunglawala, assistant secretary-general of the Muslim Council of Britain. Your post help put things in a different perspective.

By refusing to support calls for an immediate ceasefire in the Israel-Lebanon conflict, Tony Blair appeared to be giving a nod and a wink to the Israelis that they had more time to accomplish their military goals.

There may be ministers who genuinely believe that the price to be paid for our policies overseas is worth it — but they should not insult the public’s intelligence by saying that they have had no impact on the terror threat that Britain is facing. The presumption now must be that al-Qaeda-inspired groups will keep on targeting Britain.

I wrote about this type of vigilantism as possibility in my 5 part series on a possible World War III scenario. I think we will see more of this as the general public learn more about Islam and the see its radical practitioner’s attempts at converting and controlling – even destroying - the country that Muslims are living in.

The governments of Western Europe better wake up or they will have a civil war on their hands. They’re sitting on a powder keg and all it will take is one spark to ignite it.

According to Western Resistance there are strong suspicions that this attack may have been Muslim on Muslim, as revenge for someone reporting on the terror plot.

Maybe that's what Thomas was hinting at with the scare quotes around the word "youths".
